Again, the 12 weeks promised has passed. I have cedar siding that is deteriorating with the weather. They do not install when it rains, if there is wind, or if the snow is too deep or the bushes have snow on them. The ' installer' who arrived last week said that all siding takes 6-8 months to install regardless of the company. I have made a deposit of $1,200 for a service whose inability to perform due to overpromising customers will ruin the cedar siding of my house. I do not believe they have in intention or, maybe, ability to provide the contracted service in the foreseeable future. The installer also said that the Grand Rapids branch is seriously backlogged on orders. Are we the only area of Michigan with rain, snow, and wind? I remain totally dissatisfied. Furthermore, they did not even have to courtesy to call me to tell me that another promise could not be fulfilled. I found out today when I called after no one showed up. My driveway has siding materials sitting in it. I have no way of protecting it from theft.

We received a call from the sales person that the back of the house of the home where the 6 inch gutters were to go would be painted black, by us, just like the one that were taken down.  As a matter of fact already purchased the paint. I was never told this is why the order was cancelled.   The historic district has no problem with the same being put back up that was taken down this per their rules.  The front already will be black as per contract. That being said I still do not have a reason as to why the order was cancelled.  The gentleman I spoke to after multiple calls informed me it was a price discrepancy far different from what is being stated now.  Once again when I asked what that discrepancy was he would not even tell me what it was and was extremely rude and stated that I would not get a letter explaining why and would get a refund in 7-10 days.

I am in receipt of your letter regarding [redacted]: Revdex.com Case ID [redacted] involving the transaction price and discount provided by the dealership towards the purchase of a 2014 Ford Edge on 11/24/2014. Attached are several documents for reference.
In Mr. [redacted]’s complaint he states he came...

across an [redacted] Price Promise of $34,115 for the 2014 Edge in question. The price reflected on [redacted] along with other various websites is after all rebates and discounts and as noted in all disclaimers. The price Mr. [redacted] actually received was $33,908.40. Again, this is after rebates and discounts. Attached is the original sales menu fully disclosing both the customer rebate along with the AutoNation savings. Additionally, it was explained to Mr. [redacted] Ford Credit was offering 0% financing for up to 72 months with approved credit in lieu of some or all of the factory rebates. Also attached is the sales menu fully disclosing this. This happens to be the option Mr. [redacted] chose as evident by his signature shown on the sales menu.
Attached are numerous documents for reference clearly showing the entire transaction was fully disclosed along with each and every product Mr. [redacted] chose to take advantage of. Not only was it itemized and disclosed on the buyer’s order or purchase agreement each product also has a separate document disclosing both term and price. This clearly demonstrates we made every attempt to completely disclose every aspect of his transaction by disclosing each and every product numerous times as shown on the sales menu, purchase agreement, contract along with each products individual contract’s. See various attachments.
Here at AutoNation we take pride in how we choose to do business. We are a full disclosure dealership disclosing up front rebates, discounts, trade values, terms, pricing, and itemization of each product along with payment options. Again, all is evident in the various documents attached. Additionally, I have included our 3 day money back guarantee, the AutoNation Pledge document along with his application for dealer assignment all of which is signed by Mr. [redacted].
At AutoNation Ford Westlake we pride ourselves in customer satisfaction and never like to hear when someone is dissatisfied. However, after reviewing Mr. [redacted]’s complaint I’m confident the dealership has done nothing wrong, inappropriate or in any way deceptive. Should there be any additional questions please don’t hesitate to contact me personally. If I don’t hear anything further I will assume this complaint closed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I actually paid $37,908.00. I traded in my SUV for $4,000 and that does not factor into the amount that I actually paid for the Edge. The horrible customer service and unethical sales tactics remain. No one should have to sign anything to have a vehicle appraised. I would like a copy of what [redacted] made me sign to give me a trade in value for my vehicle. I assume that he did not throw it away because it is an official document because it has my signature on it. I was led to believe that the trade in and the purchase had to all be done at once.  The amount of it took them to respond shows how much they value their customers. People are only important until the ink hits the paper.

We spoke with [redacted] and we are sedning an installer out to redo his roof.  The installation date is 9-19-14.  This is , as usual, weather pending.

I am in receipt of your letter regarding [redacted]: Revdex.com Case ID [redacted] involving the diagnosis and cost involved in repairing her 2002 Ford E150.
According to Mrs. [redacted]’s complaint she feels the she was overcharged and should be provided a $217.99 refund. The charge was the result of Mrs....

[redacted] coming back to the dealership for a second time to have a "exhaust hanger" reinstalled and welded to eliminate a rattle coming from the underneath chassis. She feels the rattle was a direct result from the first repair performed on November 20, 2014. Although the exhaust hanger that needed repaired had nothing to do with the Fuel Pump replacement on 11/20/2014 nor was it in close proximity of the first repair we are empathetic.
At AutoNation Ford Westlake we pride ourselves in customer satisfaction and never like to hear when someone is dissatisfied. Although I’m confident the dealership has done nothing wrong or deceptive I have left [redacted] 2 voicemails in an attempt to come to a mutual and fair resolution in hopes to keep her a completely satisfied customer.
Once I hear from Mrs. [redacted] I will let you know the outcome. Until then should you have any questions please feel free to contact me personally with any questions.

The reason that this order was cancelled is because our 6" gutters are not available in black, which was the color selected.    The home is in a historical district and they will not approve other colors.  There is a color chart on the contract and it does say N/A under 6"...

black gutters.  I apologize for any misunderstanding and if this was not explained properly when the call was made.
