I am in receipt of your letter dated 3/13/2015 regarding [redacted]: Revdex.com Case ID [redacted] involving the purchase of an "As Is" 2005 Chevy Cavalier on 2/16/2015. Below is a brief recap of the conversation I had with you approximately 2 weeks ago.
On approximately February 24th or 25th or...

approximately 8 days after taking delivery of the 2005 Chevy Cavalier [redacted] contacted the dealership informing us the vehicle had broken down and was in need of some assistance. We immediately offered to come to her residence in hopes to resolve and provide a possible remedy and solution to her concern. Unfortunately [redacted] explained to us that would not be possible as she was soon to leave for work.
I was able to speak with [redacted] a short time later. Unfortunately I was informed she traded the vehicle in to [redacted] on 2/26/2015 approximately 10 days after taking delivery of the Cavalier. Although I am empathetic and would like to help I am no longer in any position to provide any assistance considering [redacted] no longer owns the Cavalier.
At AutoNation Ford Westlake we pride ourselves in customer satisfaction and never like to hear when someone is dissatisfied. However after reviewing everything I’m confident the dealership has done nothing wrong. Should there be any additional questions please don’t hesitate to contact me personally. If I don’t hear anything further I will assume this complaint closed.

My main complaint was about being made to pay much more than the quoted estimates, not the repair itself. Nevertheless, the General Manager and I came to an agreement to resolve the matter.

Business responded via phone as follows: What the consumer signed was a sales menu which included the terms of the sale. It explained the amount the of the consumer's trade-in as well as the available purchase options. The sales menu is not a legally binding agreement.  If the consumer has any questions at all, he can contact General Manager, [redacted] at [redacted]. [redacted] will be more than happy to assist the consumer in bringing resolution to the complaint.

We just performed the final service for [redacted] doorwall on October 10th.   We changed out his panel and also delivered screens for his other windows.   We did have a few manufacturer's problems with the panel, but feel it is working properly at this time.  We are...
