sorry we have told this customer that his part was lost in shipping.  ups is still investigating the shipment but this time of year shipping is swamped.  we told the customer we would send another one out as soon as we make sure the part was not already delivered to his address.  We...

will send out another one by the 26th of January

sorry the customer bought a radiator for his [redacted]  his receipt says a "radiator"  he received a radiator for his [redacted].   just because he found a radiator online for less doesn't mean he is due any money  back.   the receipt he received says  "no cash refunds exchange...

only"   we exchanged the radiator for him.  if he didn't like the part when he picked it up he should have refused it then.  not 2 weeks later.  if he would like he can get a discount on any future purchases but we don't refund for "I found it online for less"  sorry have a great day!

Im sorry sir you were told the warranty when you ordered. you were also gave a copy with the receipt. you were emailed one also. you also only called one time and we have a log of all our calls.  I talked to you about the exchange yesterday. you agreed to return it for exchange.  Also yes there is a bench check for a stator.  I can send you the test procedures from the honda repair manual if you need them. The warranty we offer is above standard for electrical items. Almost all shops offer no returns of any kind on electrical. That is true of new or used parts. Please call the dealer to find out.  We will gladly exchange the part for you. please return it and we will exchange it ASAP
thanks

yes the customer is correct his broken not working part was scrapped thrown away. we are sorry that happened.  There is nothing we can do to return a junk part.  it has no value.  if we had another junk non working part it would not replace his junk part. we offered to sell him a...

replacement part at our cost but he refused our offer.  so our offer still stands.  we will sell him a new replacement fuel pump at our cost.   thanks and have a great day!

The business required me to return the item at my expense. I requested they purchase the return shipping and I offered to drop it at the shipper of their choosing. They made the error and should be held liable for the cost of their mistake. Requiring the customer to spend their money when the business made the error is unacceptable. Now they are claiming I'm past their warranty date. Since the correct item has yet to be sent and received by the buyer, no warranty has been activated. The completion of the initial purchase has yet to be finalized.

It doesn't say OEM, it just says radiator. That could mean anything from a new $800 OEM radiator to a scrap $5 aftermarket radiator.People/repair shops go to junk yards to get used, OEM parts. That is why he first gave me an OEM radiator. Per our discussion when I bought it, he said it came off a 2008 bike. The only problem was it was the wrong year (2006) when I unwrapped it to install it.To think I'd agree to pay $175 for an aftermarket part that you can find on [redacted] right now in 3 seconds for $90 is preposterous. He is making himself look foolish on the review sites. People know it's obvious I was there to get OEM. That is why I contacted another local OEM seller before going to Stocker's. It is hard to find OEM on [redacted].

sorry all warranties start the day of delivery of item. sorry our policy is clear and on your receipt and on the emails and on our website and also you received the policy in a email before we shipped the item .  you have chosen not to return the item for exchange, you have kept the item for months past any warranty. The only thing we will do is give instore credit if you would like to return the item to us. otherwise I am sorry there is nothing else I can do.

thanks

I understand you have a no refund policy but I paid for a service 80 to troubleshoot the 2004 crf250 that was hard to start. When u pay to troubleshoot something there should a repair the problem price. On my receipt say low compression needs tear down of engine costs 250 to further troubleshoot. I already paid 80 to troubleshoot? When I dropped off the bike I was told that it was a 80 to troubleshoot the bike and if I choose to do the repair it would go to repairs that's why I agreed not 80 to troubleshoot and another 250 to troubleshoot. Besides my motor did not need to be taken apart it runs fine it just needed the carburetor cleaned. It's hard to check the compression on a kick start bike because u need to kick the lever fast at least ten times to get accurate reading. The guy I talked to at stockers said it was hard to kick. When a bike has low compression it's easy to kick because there's no compression.I think it's only fair that I get a refund because stockers mis diagnose the crf250. It runs fine after the carburetor was clean it did not need the motor taken apart and start fine now

Hello
your were informed of our policy on electrical items when you made the order. you received a email stating that there is no refunds for electrical items.   we will gladly do a one time exchange on any stator. You agreed to that when you made the order. All of our parts are inspected and...

tested to be in full working condition. you called yesterday and agreed to that yesterday also.  Please return the stator and we will inspect it and confirm that it is not functioning and if it is bad we will exchange it for another one.  thanks
[redacted]

the customer states he want a exchange for the incorrect tank.  that is exactly what he was told yesterday on the phone.  We would locate another tank for him.  I am not sure what his complaint is?  but we are locating a exchange tank for him.   our policy which is...

posted 5 times at the front counter and is on a flashing red LED sign says we exchange.  It is also on his receipt which is attached to this,  on the receipt it also says it is the customers responsibility to make sure he gets the correct part. We are a motorcycle salvage yard. there is no part number on items.   The customer asked before he got the part what was the warranty and we told him exchange only. We have had this policy for more than 30 years and is above the standard in the salvage industry.
thanks

Sorry our policy is 80$ to check it out and if we do the repair the 80$ is applied toward the job.  Making the estimate free.  We confirmed the motorcycle had low compression and offered to go deeper into the repair.  You chose not to do the work. so the 80$ check out fee is not...

waived.  If you had chosen for us to continue working on the motorcycle that fee would have been waived and applied to the job. You agreed to that when you did the estimate. The 80$ is not refundedable. thanks[redacted]

"My receipt just says "07 [redacted] RADIATOR". That can mean anything from a brand new OEM [redacted] radiator worth $800 to a $5 junk/scrap aftermarket radiator. I intentionally looked for a used OEM radiator, for which $175 is somewhat reasonable. We even discussed it when I bought it. I explained how a buddy of mine installed an aftermarket radiator and it started leaking shortly afterwards. You even advised not to trust aftermarket and to never repair a radiator. Before going to Stockers, I asked a guy who was selling his used OEM radiator with fan for $250. I didn't need the fan and he didn't come down in price, so that's why I went to Stockers. He's still selling it to this day on [redacted] at[redacted]
Why would you first give me a used OEM radiator if the deal was for a new aftermarket radiator (as you say now)? It was sold to me as a used OEM radiator from a 2008 bike which would fit my 2007. I even asked if you knew the mileage of the bike but you said you don't keep that information. The only problem with it was that it was a 2006 as indicated by the green paint on the side of it. It's very easy to tell an OEM from aftermarket: for one, OEM is silver, aftermarket is black. For you to assume that I didn't know about cheaper, aftermarket radiators before going to Stockers is ridiculous, especially considering my friend had just installed one. The one I saw back then was $117 on [redacted] but I hardly even looked because I didn't want Chinese-made junk and didn't see any used OEMs on [redacted]. There are probably some out there for under $98 if I looked harder. I'd bet you paid under $90 for the one you gave me.The reason I didn't immediately refuse the part is because I had to drive there on a Thursday lunch break and was in a rush. It was in a cardboard box. Like the first one, I keep it in the packaging for transportation. I usually work on bikes at a friend's house on weekends and it was around Thanksgiving so everyone was busy. Regardless, when I called you and complained that it was aftermarket, you refused to swap it or offer even a partial refund. You said that we agreed on an aftermarket part and that I "must've misheard". So if that's the story you're sticking with, it doesn't really matter when I complained about it. Anyway, at that point, I'd already given you multiple opportunities and would be a fool to waste more time. Please be sure to address the other complaints as well:1) Why does my receipt say the total was $175.89 but I was charged $175.00? Was this price made up on the spot to try to get it around $175 after tax? Was the 10% discount applied after mentioning the online ad?2) When we discovered you gave me the wrong year radiator, I called you posing as a new customer to see if you had the correct part in stock. You said yes and it was $125. Why was it $50 cheaper this time? Was I discriminated against when I purchased mine?3) After I explained that I was actually an existing customer that was given the wrong year, you said to come down to exchange it. I said we'd be there in about 1hr. My friend had to drive me 45mins to your shop. When we got there, you said "they're still looking for it". Another 25mins pass and you tell us you actually don't have the part. Why did you tell us to drive down there? Do you feel you should compensate us for our time, gas, and mileage?4) Since you refused to give me cash back at that time, you advised you could get me the correct part from a different salvage yard and that it would be shipped in about a week. When did we ever discuss aftermarket parts? As a reminder, my friend, a Marine Veteran with no criminal history, was there.4a) Why did it take 12 days for me to get my part when you said it would take about a week?5) Why was I charged 9.25% sales tax? Isn't Chula Vista taxed at 8.25%?Note that you've been unapologetic from the get-go making no attempt to admit or rectify your mistake. You just said "things happen". I agree, things do happen but if I (and I'm sure most others) were the owner, I would have apologized and offered a token of goodwill i.e. a discount or delivered the correct part knowing the bike was taken apart and couldn't be driven.Afterwards, I asked around about Stockers including motorcycle shop owners and warehouses, one being close to yours. Wish I would've spoken to them before because the reputation for Stockers is exactly what happened to me. One guy actually finished my sentence for me. These are just people I see in person, I haven't even posted on the FB motorcycle groups yet. There are many reviews online with the same scenario.Have a great day!"Thanks,[redacted]

[He did offer to sell me another one after "throwing away" my part, but he never once mentioned at cost. He did admit to throwing away my part without my consent, and he has no way to prove that the part did not work. Regardless if the part worked or not, he has no right to throw away my property. Here is a copy of the reciept, where he initialled that he owes me a fuel pump assembly. Thanks]

I WAS REFUNDED $15 LESS OF WHAT I PAID. SECONDLY, IN-STORE CREDIT FOR RETURN SHIPPING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BECAUSE I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THAT POLICY AHEAD OF THE PURCHASE.

sorry I will only offer the 50$ which is my cost of the paint of the fender. No where did we warrant that the paint color would be a exact match. It is just the opposite we said it would not be a exact match, just that it would be close. Our offer still stands of a refund of 50$
thanks

I do not accept the response, I was never told about any kind of return policy, I called and called when I found the item to be defective. You cannot bench test a Stator to see if it is going to charge the system. I do not want another faulty part from your salvage yard, I want a full refund.
