Review: After purchasing the vehicle, which we have had for about 1 week we had to return it to the
purchasing location due to the car completely stopping in the middle of a busy intersection with
four children and my wife in the vehicle, in which they had the vehicle for about 1 month or so.
They stated that it was an electrical issue in the dashboard and they have fixed it with no other
issues present returned the vehicle to us and a gentlemen advised my wife to go take the vehicle
to Chrysler dealership and have them run a full test on it to make sure that nothing comes up but
it will confirm a warranty on the vehicle for a year we also would have to pay about 200$ in this
case, we didn't feel as customers we should have been advised of this nor should we have to
pay the amount for a vehicle that should be in a circumstance to sell to us . On November 06
2013 which is 20 days after the 3 month warranty was up, while my wife was driving it to work it
started to make a loud noise and jerk around. My wife immediately pulled over in and had to find
a ride to work from that point due to we did not want any further complications then what may be
going on. They have had the vehicle now for 26 days with no point of contact to us as
customers, we have to constantly call the dealership and then we don't get a return call for a day
or so with no further explanation of the issue being resolved or what is going on. My wife and I
have four children and cannot attend any family function together due to the only family vehicle
we had was the one that we cannot drive and no alternative (loaner) was given. All in all we have
signed on the vehicle for a total of almost four months ago and have only been able to enjoy the
vehicle as a family for two months total.Desired Settlement: Repair the vehicle at no cost to us or give us a vehicle that is of equal value along with being
able to accommodate our family needs.

Response:
The final issue with vehicle, which occurred outside of the warranty, was in regards to the transmission. Vehicle is currently at a repair shop. Wrong transmission was sent, and is awaiting its replacement. Repairs should be completed by 01/06/14. No further repairs will be completed.
Review: I went to this company to try to see what my options were as far as getting into a new car. The dealer that I was doing business with was doing inappropriate things. Like making sexual comments gestures and other things that made business very uncomfortable. But he made it almost impossible to decline in business. He knew my situation I which I had just hit the lottery for a substantial amount. He knew I didn't have the actual money in hand at that moment. But like I said he made an almost impossible yet shocking deal. He still allowed me to drive off the same day with a 2010 Ford. Again thru this he was still screwing me over and only worried about getting what was best for him. With this purchase came extreme high mileage. Car already started gabbing problems want happy w the size very compact. It was extremely uncomfortable scary and I was lost. I had my companion w me in which I told her and she seen the inappropriate things he was doing. But he kept the pressure strong after two days I had yup contact him cause pod course the car was already having issues. After being ignored by dealer I went yup his manager in which his company didn't even care nor keep things professional at all. They made me feel belittled an and laughed at they didn't even care.Desired Settlement: I want them to find me a descent vehicle and regardless reduce and keep things affordable to what's going to benefit me not them. Treat me equally and teach that man how too never go that again. He deserves to BBC inn trouble
Business
Response:
Business states that they have been in direct contact with the consumer regarding the matter. The business has decided to take possession of the vehicle and return the collateral to the customer. Any future dealings will depend on the consumer financial obligations being met and agreed to by both parties.
Consumer
Response:
I am rejecting this response because:this business took the car by repossessing it. Because they didn't want to deal with the fact that their salesman messed up by touching me. And harassing me as a woman. Instead of the just accepting the fact their employee was out of line. They hid the issue by making it seem as if I wasn't trying to make a payment. They entrapped me at their business by trapping me up at their lot. They used the issue against me making it seem like they were trying to help and they were going to exchange my vehicle for the one I actually wanted. When I got there they only trapped me there made a mockery about the issue. Made me feel as if I were the problem. All because this man put stress and strain on my life. They still turned it on me and I was left to eat dirt
Review: I purchased a 2005 [redacted]. As required by California Law, I took this vehicle in for its Smog Inspection We learned through the vehicle inspection that this car was sold with a Tampered/Replaced After Market Catalytic Converter, Deeming this vehicle unfit to be sold in California from a Dealership to a Consumer, unless it is sold as a non-operational vehicle. I immediately Contacted Stockton Auto World for assistance, and an explanation as to why I was sold a vehicle in the state of California that could not legally pass a smog inspection? My call was returned from a Manager from Stockton Auto World, who agreed to furnish me a copy of the latest smog inspection on file clearing this dealership the sell of the 2005 [redacted]. I have yet to receive that smog inspection report as promised. I contacted Stockton Auto World for a follow up to my initial request. I was given a contact number for your Corporate Offices. My call has not been returned. This vehicle cannot past smog at this time, nor could it have passed smog on the date of sale. (10/13/12) due to the After Market Catalytic Converter.Desired Settlement: I would like for this car to have a Legal Catalytic Converter placed on it, which is required by law, from the dealership. That is all I am asking.
Business
Response:
[redacted] purchased a 2005 [redacted] back on 10/13/2012. The vehicle, prior to sale, has been through a 3rd party inspection and smog check. This vehicle has passed these inspections and we have copies. The smog was not done illegally nor was there any wrong doing. Due to fact that this vehicle has been sold over 2 years ago and that vehicle has not been in our possesion, we do not know what kind of condition it is in now. The dealer has done what is required; smogging before selling.
Consumer
Response:
I am rejecting this response because: There is no way possible that this vehicle could have passed smog (legally) with an After Market Catalytic Converter. I have never seen a copy of the promised smog report and I am sure there is a reason that is being withheld from me. That document is required and I want to see it. Where is the report? (which is the main thing I am requesting at this time) I clearly understand that Auto World is not going to outright agree that something slipped through the cracks of their systems before selling me this 2005 [redacted], so I will have to move forward with a Auto Fraud Attorney, and if we have to trace this after market converter all the way back to where it was purchased, by whom it was purchased, and when, we will do this to prove that this part was on the vehicle when I purchased it. I thought it would be easier for Auto World to just resolve their error without the additional legal fee's, but I am not accepting this answer, and I am not walking away. I would clearly know if I had a part added to my vehicle or not.
Business
Response:
Prior to the sale, the [redacted] passed smog. It was done legally by a 3rd party smog shop. We do not own the smog shop that did the smog. We have receipt that smog was done. We fulfilled our obligation as a dealer by having the vehicle smogged by a 3rd party shop before the sale. Although I do know that smog laws change yearly, This could be one of those scenarios where at the time we smogged it passed and now with some changes to smog regulations that it may not pass.. Smog components are considered maintenance items.. through time these need to be maintained and replaced. We could provided a copy of receipt that smog was done if customer would like to see it.
Review: bought a 2008 bmw very nice car everything was fine they said that the services had just been done, but a week after the car was purchase the service light and brake light came on. we took the car back they said they did the services, but a day later the coolant on the car licked all out so took it back. they worked on it and everything was taken care of, but a week later the engine blew out. their excuse was that we drove the car to many miles, but from my understanding a car engine goes out because of not enough oil in engine or the engine is over heating which these where services they had just done. Now they want us to pay half of a engine that they say it cost $3000 so their asking $1500 which they say its half, now am not a expert but no bmw engine cost $3000 maybe their in the 6 or 8 thousands . they don't want to do a trade in or give me my down payment back, which either way I will still be losing what I have paid the finance.Desired Settlement: I would like my $5000 down payment back which I would still lose the monthly payments I have given and time and gas money I have put going back and forth to their dealership.

Response:
On 02/18/2014 the specified BMW went through a safety check and the oil and filter were changed and vehicle was determined to be in proper working order at that point. On 03/13/2014 the BMW was sold to the customer and still appeared to be in proper working condition. The vehicle was test driven prior to purchase and nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary to the customer or the salesman. The customer bought the vehicle with 89747 miles on it and was given a 3-month OR 3,000 mile limited warranty that was clearly explained in English and Spanish. There were no questions or concerns from the customer at that point about what the limited warranty covered. The customer returned on 04/18/2014 with a concern about the radiator leaking fluid and the brake light on. At this point the coolant pressure test checked ok and the brakes were at 90% life. The vehicle was given back to the customer in what appeared to be proper working order. On 04/23/2014 the customer returned with the vehicle saying there was water leaking from the radiator. The vehicle was checked into the service area with a reported 94,980 miles. (Please note at this point the vehicle was outside of the limited warranty, but a courtesy check/fix was done.) The radiator was checked and the coolant reservoir line was changed. The vehicle once again left and appeared to be in proper working order. The customer returned on 05/13/2014 with an engine concern. The vehicles reported mileage at this point was 97,314, which was significantly outside of the limited warranty. We did a courtesy check of the vehicle and found the engine did in fact need to be repaired. We told the customer the vehicle was outside of the limited warranty that was issued, but we would cover the entire labor charge and half of the cost of the engine repair. We felt this was very fair based on the mileage driven by the customer after the date of purchase.
Review: Bought the car with insurance sold to me from sales person, fraudulent insurance just to get me off his lot, left with no paperwork of the car I bought lied to the bank on the insurance I had, Gave me no paperwork when left the lot just the keys to the car. Totaled the car under suspicious cercumstances (tire might have popped) and now wont give me the contract to sue, for my deposit back.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit back.
Consumer
Response:
I believe the tires popped and I had just boughten the car, the should have came with new tires, I have no paperwork of the insurance given to me he won't cooperate to let me see it. My deposit was 2100
Business
Response:
Business states that the issue has been resolved directly with the consumer as it is their understanding that she has received her deposit back.
Review: We bought a 2007 [redacted] from Stockton Auto World on February 23, 2015. We were approved for a 60 month loan at $227 a month so we signed the contract. On March 24, 2015 they called us to tell us financing fell through and that we "have" to sign a new contract for a 36 month $300 a month loan, which is not at all what we agreed to. We consulted with a Laywer who told us that the dealership had 10 days after the sale to tell us financing fell through and they could cancel the contract. But they didn't contact us until 29 days later, so legally they have to finance us themselves now, which they are refusing to do. Even our contract says they only had 10 days on the back. We are not signing a new contract because it's not what was agreed. We do not like how we are being treated by them and it is wrong.Desired Settlement: We would like our contract honored and they should have to do in house financing since they did not let us know financing fell through within 10 days.
Business
Response:
Business states that they have contacted the consumer directly and came to a mutual agreement. Business went ahead and put customer in a different car.
