Hello , we understand [redacted] o's concern , and we will give her a brand new furniture protection plan from "GUARDIAN"Once again , unfortunately , we can not determine why Montage furniture plan is claiming she does not have a plan with them! There are three pieces to the couchThe wedge was the first piece I noticedIt was not properly fixedI was still able to see a lump at the bottomI was not home during the first visitThe service repair technician came earlier than his scheduled appointment and my daughter let him in. Soon as I arrived home I called Tiffany Furniture and took staff that I was not satisfied with the repair work doneI was told that I had to wait for a service reportI did not notice the small fine slit until I finally sat on the couchI had surgery on my knee and was mostly in my bedroom during recoveryThe couches still have the tags on themI was told by *** that Tiffany Furniture had surgery too. When the fine slit was observed on the sofa I contacted Tiffany Furniture again.I was told that this would be addressed along with properly repairing the wedgeThere is a pen mark on the love seat which I did ask how to removeHe told me an old trick would be to utilize hair sprayNo where in my request to Tiffany Furniture was regarding pen marks or anything else besides the bottom of the wedge and the slit and stitching popping out in the sofaDuring the second visit the technician did not repair the wedge he said it looked fine to himAnd he stated that the sofa would have to be reupholstered and would cost too muchHe stated that he was going to write a report and that the store would decide what to do nextThe only way to see the slit on the sofa is with someone being very close to itI had to take close up pictures for it to be visible with the camera Now allegations ate being dtaed that I moved the furniture from the original place of delivery which is not trueAll I want in an exchange of the sofa and the wedge or a refund of the wedgeIf the service technician couldn'tfix it the first time why would I want Tiffany Furniture to send him again and then I be responsible moving forwardIt makes no sense.

We told the salesperson at the time of purchase that one of us was very sensitive to polyurethane We have medical records from months prior stating this fact We were assured that the upholstery was made of polyester but no information was provided regarding the seat cushions which were over % polyurethane Of note, we now understand that 80% polyurethane is high by industry standards for fine furniture seat cushions Also, the polyurethane cushion is separated from the overlying polyester upholstery by only a thin cover of presumably polyester muslin-like material The customer experienced shortness of breath from the polyurethane odors emanating from this couch and had to move this to our garage pending return to the store After we raised our concerns and problems with the sectional with the store, a series of angry and profane phone calls and emails were sent on the part of the store in our efforts to return the sectional and to receive refund or store credit Due to difficulties dealing with this business, we had no choice but to file a credit card dispute and Revdex.com complaint One of the owners stated to me in a phone call that if I did not drop the credit card dispute, I would be sued for the cost of the sofa At that point, we had to get an attorney who has been communicating with the store's owners The only offer from the store's owners so far to end this matter is for us to pay 40% of the purchase price (based upon unmentioned fine print on the purchase receipt which appears to apply only to cancellations prior to delivery)We are willing to compromise to make this unpleasant dispute end but so far have not reached an agreement to return the furnitureWe feel we have been misled about the furniture at the time of purchase and we have been treated miserably by this business since then

I was not satisfied with the quality of work from the date of repairI made that clear to staff at Tiffany Furniture the same dayI was informed that I had to wait for the service report to come in within a week to ten business daysAs stated in previous report I called when I arrived homeThe furniture comes in three different piecesThe couch then love seat and the wedgeThe unsatisfactory work was done on the wedgeThe slit on the couch was not observed until further inspection Again as stated in my previous statement I had surgery and wasn't able to fully inspect furniture upon deliveryThis slit is not obvious at a quick glanceThe service technician only worked on the wedge during his initial visit not the other two piecesUpon the completion of the unsatisfactory work the wedge remained in the post ion that he left itDuring his second visit I pointed out a minor scrape on the top corner and stated it must of happened after because I didn't put it back in the original sectional set up and maybe it was brushed againstThere is no pen mark on the wedgeI asked if the material was so cheap that if anyone passed against it would tear and was contemplating contacting the manufacture to complainThe technician stated that his previous worked looked fine and did not bother to repair to my approvalHe stated that couch piece with slit needed to be re done but it would be cheaper to get a new pieceNow I'm being accused of moving the furnitureThe minor scrape that was noticed upon the service technician arriving was NEVER a point of interestIt was to have the unsatisfactory work done right and to have the slit on the couch repaired or replacedThis is appearing to be a orchestrated tactic in an effort not to fix properly or exchanged damaged furnitureNow its a pen mark what will be nextI am a paying customerI have purchased items from Tiffany Furniture in the past and did not have these problemsI have reviewed the response by *** the disrespectful manager that I had to deal with and bone of my isseues regarding is accusations and demeaning words have been addressed to dateIt appears that he is attempting to deviate from the issue and state and misleading statementsTo give him a small benefit of the doubt I was not dealing directly with him until our conversationI have sent emails and have phone records that can be produced upon request to prove my claimIn the event that there were twenty five pen marks on my furniture it does not give Tiffany Furniture the right to not address the issue at handIf the issues can not be fixed properly exchange the item.

Manufacturer Repvisited home two times, first time there were no pen marks and no rips were pointed outSecond visit he was asked to remove pen marks which he cannot do and repair a rip that was not there on his first visitSofa sectional was moved from from original place and damagedWe can send a leather repair technician to her home and see if cut can be repairedThere is a charge for this service, We will pay the first $, after customer has to payThe $should cover the repair. In response to *** ***'s letter I was upset but did not go to the store to make a scene nor did I pick the date to find my table crackedWhat I wanted and what I expected was a beautiful well made table worth $1975.88 I went to the store because what I received was a poorly made table which was in my house for one day and CRACKEDThe 1/inch wood he speaks of was notched at each corner causing this break in the wood. *** *** claims it could only break,if someone sat or stood on it. First, this is a rude remark, my family does not stand or sit in the kitchen tableSecond, the table is counter height which would mean someone would have to be extremely tall or climb on the chairs. No one stood or sat on the table. It broke because it is poorly made. Getting past videos (which I'm glad he has) and police reports and name calling not the store manager or ** *** seemed surprised at the report of a broken tableI would have assumed they would also have been upset that one of their customers received such a table. Would they not also be outraged at the manufacture? Would they not want better quality for their store? I'm not sure how receiving another table would change the outcome? No one has addressed why the day old table CRACKED? When people come into my home they honestly cannot believe what they are seeingNo one I know has had such an experience

The furniture was not repaired correctly within the 1 year warranty. The issue is that the seller of the furniture used inferior repairman within the 1 year mark and has refused to fix the issue-  which is the one they attempted to fix before.  I just want the repair done to satisfaction as was requested once already.

The 5 year warranty that was purchased is through an outside firm and consumer must notify them of any claims. The furniture was bought 3 years ago and manufacturer only warranties furniture for 1 year.  Thank you. [redacted]

Costumer was told by me owner of store that stools would take longer and we would deliver rest of furniture and he would have to wait for stools. The stools will be in within a week to 10 days and we will call him and deliver 3 stools which were sold to him for $300, not...
