Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Once again Stonegate and it's President is simply sidetracking the real issue and the VERY reasonable request I have asked of them...stated VERY clearly in my last response. It is also very obvious that they are only responding simply to have this complaint "stricken" as they have asked already twice and that is all they care about. AGAIN, I am asking that Stonegate provide me with a VERY reasonable date as to when they will conclude their so-called "investigation" and would love to know "what" and "how"they are investigating in detail that has taken us to almost a month from the date of loss. There are NUMEROUS complaints online about the conduct of Stonegate and how they handle claims and that is apparent in my claim also. This complaint should NOT be stricken and Stonegate should simply answer my question without leaving me in limboThey should also be expected to handle my claim in a VERY reasonable and professional manner. I find it comical how *** *** *ext*** said to me the reason the claim adjuster, *** *** (ext.***) has never returned any of my countless voicemails, faxes an emails is because she was out of the officeBut yet, no "out of the office" automated email responseNo "I will be out of the office" message on her voicemailThis I most certainly know was a complete lie that she has been out of the office. That is what Stonegate and it's representatives are all about...lies and not properly handling claims in an effort to avoid paying them
Sincerely,

My Independent insurance agent obtained Auto and Home Insurance for me through StonegateLast year (2014) I had hail damage with two sky lights broken and the area was classified by the state with high damageMy insurance agent had a stroke in October and in December I was notified my Home Owner Insurance policy was not being renewed but my auto was being renewedThis was done through the mailI call requesting more informationI was put off and several call were not answeredNo voice communication was ever establishedI received a second letter correcting their reason of the non-renewalI am "a mesurable increase in rusk due to loss"What is insurance for? What do I need insurance for? An act of nature must be my fault for non-renewal to a Senior Citizen with a retired Insurance Agent

Stonegate Insurance is the most sub-stand insurance company that I have ever dealt with Their insured vehicle struck our vehicle and four and a half months later we haven't received a dime They said that they cannot confirm that their driver was at fault even though their driver gave us their insurance card, registration card, and contact information and we gave them none of our information We now have to take this matter to court I guess that companies can just close their eyes and pretend that they do not have to take care of their responsibilities

Sadly, I've had a horrible experience with Stonegate insurance with their lowball repair estimate In short they will only pay a labor rate of only $28/hourWhen in fact even a court case form “The *** representative testified that the average per hour body repair rate offered by insurance companies and accepted by repair shops is in the range of $to $per hourIn fact, this witness stated that *** negotiates in this range for work to be done for body workThe claims manager stated that *** *** pays $per hour for body repair work.” [NY Slip Op 51551U, 2-(N.YDistCt2003)]The adjuster Jeri *** was extremely loud with me to the point of yelling that others in the house standing feet away could hear her yelling Her tone was intimidating, rude, unprofessional, just short of obscene and just kept telling me how she has being in the business years and I just had to accept what she said as a final answerI left the President Dan *** a voice mail regarding Jeri *** and I am patiently waiting for a reply from Dan For I am certain the way Jeri speaks to clients is not withing the Protocol of even yearsI think that since Jeri ***s has being in the industry for over years she may feel she is above the norm in professional standards and even above Stonegate protocolI am 100% certain if the President Dan *** heard the way Jeri spoke/yelled at me he would "coach" her and remind her that this is not "Jeri ***'s" own personal company and that even after years she too must abide by company protocol in dealing with customersShe mentioned that even if I spoke to her Claim's manager Diane *** I would get the exact same response and in fact Diane *** would just send the phone call back to herI would be shocked if this is how Stonegate operates

I am rejecting this response because:
Im writing this to "reject" stone gates response they have NEVER sent me "***" any information to fill out a formthey spoke to my fiancé "***" only after several attempts to rectify the issue at hand, which I have VIDEO PROFF of the tow truck driver damaging my rear end bumper( I now even have texts from the driver ADMITTING he scratched the bumper, and him trying to pay us off with $200.00) once I continued to inform stone gate of said video, they in fact did have me go to get the damage estimatedeven the guy whom stone gate picked to do said damage estimate stated that the video footage proved the damage happened from his rampsthey refuse to acknowledge anything after they received the professionals estimatethey've even gone as far as to blame us for the damage by stating we said nothing to the driver to resolve the issueit is my responsibility to contact drivers insurance provider to notify them their client damaged my bumper, however it is NOT my responsibility to contact the driverthey continue to state that bc the driver failed to file the damage, that it must mean the damage didn't occurwhich is not the case, again I HAVE VIDEO PROOF OF THE TOW DRIVER DAMAGING MY CHROME BUMPER! THE ONLY RECTIFICATION I WILL ACCEPT IS THE REPLACEMENT OF MY REAR CHROME BUMPER THEIR CLINET DAMAGEDi also would like to point out how entirely rude they treat us to this day! I offered to even take MORE TIME out of my day to go into the niles location to show the videoto only be rudely told that they would not be there to look at the video, bc they were going to lunch! at the end of the day we used a driver whom is insured through them, it is legally their responsibility to make good on the claimheaven forbid if this had been an actual automobile accident, that injuries incurred fromi can only imagine they would to try to deny the claimI'm not asking for anything that isn't owed to metheres nothing further to say on our end other than it looks like I will be taking the company and the driver to small claims courtwhere they will not only be found guilty but then have court costs on top of the damage costthanks kindly to the Revdex.com, we appreciate your timesincerely, *** *** and *** ***

I am rejecting this response because: The driver was trying to take off from the scene. I had to reach in and remove the keys til the police arrived. I took a picture of the accident with driver in my lane not me in his. The driver, who is not the insured from Stonegate, apologized and ask that I not call the police. This is the truth. Stonegate seems to have a canned response to these complaints. I will be writing the Attorney General and the  Insurance fraud department. As well as filing a small claims law suit asking for the amount to repair, (over 5K)  court cost and the pain and suffering. Let me ask you, would a guilty person take such steps? Again, the driver tried to leave the scene. His passenger did take off prior to the police arriving. He was driving a big box truck and clearly did not see me when he crossed into my lane. I was almost completely stopped.  The police told me he was writing the driver a ticket for hitting me. He will be summoned to court for this law suit. Not sure what they meant about the early date in May. The accident was 5/21/17
Sincerely,
Steve [redacted]
