At this time, I have been contacted directly by Moishe's Self Storage regarding complaint ID [redacted] , however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] Moishe's Self Storage has sent me a tremendous amtof paper work stating that they have sold their company to [redacted] @ [redacted] ***I received this months bill under [redacted] heading with the same bogus charges (late fees and Protection plan fees)There must be some govtagency that I can contact to report this horrendous situationI'm sure that I am not the only one that is going through this hardship for no good reasonThe general public needs to be protected against this kind of relentless abuseI say to you loud and clear somebody "HELP"! Storage post [redacted] they want to charge u etc but last month I noticed roaches..now everytime I go to my unit and they havent done anything I did make them awareWhat can I do re my rights

We have carefully reviewed *** ***’s account to better understand his concernsFor clarity, we have separated the complaints into two response sections.
Concern regarding 5’ x 5’ unit:
We understand that in August *** *** inquired about
a 5’ x 5’ unit through ***, a third-party vendor, not through Storage Post directlyHe was quoted a $monthly rate at our *** *** *** storeUnfortunately, Storage Post has only limited control over how *** markets or describes our units, and in this case the height of the unit was not listed on ***’s websiteWe continuously work with *** to ensure it describes our units as accurately as possible.
We understand that it was frustrating for *** *** to discover that the unit he reserved was a shorter unit (5’ x 5’ x 4’) rather than a taller unit (5’ x 5’ x 8’)However, before *** *** signed the rental agreement, our notes indicate he received a tour of both the shorter and taller unitsHe then indicated that he would prefer the taller unit rather than shorter unit chosen in his *** reservation.
Because *** *** is a loyal customer, we agree to waive the late fees assessed on his account for unit *** up to today, as long as the account is made current at the time of fee waiverWe are unable to reduce rent on the 5’ x 5’ x 8’ unit to $Again, we are unable to fully control how *** describes our units and regret that this misunderstanding occurredOur staff showed *** *** both types of units before he signed the rental agreementWith that being said, *** *** mentioned that as an alternative he would take a shorter unit for $As a gesture of goodwill, we are willing to concede the $per month rate for a shorter 5’ x 5’ x 4’ unit, although the rate will still be subject to standard industry price adjustments over the term of the rental agreement.
Concern regarding 10’ x 10’ unit:
We understand that in June *** *** inquired about a first floor 10’ x 10’ unit on ***, but when he arrived that unit was no longer availableOur *** *** *** store has been undergoing extensive renovations, and part of that has been the addition of several hundred new unitsWe believe a first floor unit may have been listed as available before it was ready to rentAgain, *** does not guarantee the accuracy of its descriptions, and, while we strive to monitor how our units are displayed in ***’s directory, we are unable to control all of the details of every listingMonitoring Storage Post listings on *** becomes especially difficult during construction transitions.
While we do our best to accommodate all customer needs during renovation, we understand that the process can be frustrating and we regret that a unit was prematurely listed as available on ***We believe *** ***’s resolution request of a transfer to a different 10’ x 10’ unit is reasonable and we agree to waive the transfer fee to make that transition easierWe cannot guarantee that the unit adjacent to *** ***’s other unit will be available at the time of transfer, but we will work with him to the best of our abilities to ensure he is satisfied with the location.
We hope these concessions clear up the situations brought on by *** and ongoing renovations at our *** *** *** store.

Customer, *** *** is currently renting storage at our Lawrence location located at *** *** ***, *** ** ***His unit number is ***.We have reviewed *** *** (ID # ***) complaint and researched his account informationWe understand his frustration
However, after reviewing his lease and account, the customer agreed to the discount that was given to him which was the 1st month free. According to our advertisement, “UP TO TWO MONTHS FREE” “ASK FOR DETAILS”, customers may receive different discounts according to our occupancy guidelines and availability per locationDuring that time, he rented the storage unit on 08/**/and we did not have any units available with a month free discountHe was offered the 1st month free due to occupancy and size availabilityAll this information was given to *** *** during the tour given to him before he signed the month to month leaseHe agreed to the terms offered and signed his lease fully aware that he was only receiving the 1st month free on the unit he selected. We have informed the District Manager at our Long Island region and as a courtesy we will apply a credit to *** *** account of $160.00, which is a month’s rentThis is an exception we are making for *** ***We typically do not apply credits onto the account of this matter once the lease has been signed by the customer. Again, we understand *** ***’s frustration and regret that this situation has gone as far as the Revdex.comNevertheless, we can only move forward as we’ve stated above. I have been renting a unit from this facility for less than one year; in that time, the rent has been raised twice The company has justified these increases by citing new services they offer such as receiving packages, but I did not sign up for any of these services when I signed up for this unit, nor did I agree to pay for them, and being several thousand miles away, it is not convenient to move to another facility Watch out, this company is unreliable, and, in my opinion, greedy and unethical

Review: hello my name is [redacted] I.want to make a complaint on strorage post on [redacted]. They sold my stuff today and they said that they was trying to call me but they said that my number didn't work. so.they called my mother and told me to call them.so I called then and tbe number was not the number the number went to Yonkers to a hospital. then made a complaint on there wedsit someone called that was not for the storgage post.then I asked the guy could I have more time to pay my bill and he told me that I had until today at 10a.m to pay my bill. Review: I have a storage unit at the afore mentioned business; Storage Post located in [redacted]. My storage unit is strategically located close access to one of the buildings elevators. That mentioned elevator ha s been out of service for about 2.5 months (approximately) I happen to store in it a "SHOW QUALITY" Harley Daviidson Motorcycle. The motorcyle is "TOO" big to maneuver through the hall ways and corridors to gain access to the other available elevators.

During the winter months, I had to pass up on a couple of presentations at shows that have cost me cash award prizes. Today was the last draw!! I have rotating days off and wanted to take advantage of the weather to do some maintenance and warming up of the motorcyle downstairs as it is on the third floor and once again the elevator out of service.

They have never posted the time line to be fixed or an explanation to us, the PAYING PATRON!!Desired Settlement: Since they are prompt to lock up the storage units for a day or two of tardiness in payments or to send the infamous increase in rent letters (which I have just received); I DEMAND REIMBURSEMENT OR CREDIT for the period of time the elevator has been damaged.

During this period I have been patient, paying my monthly rent and losing well deserved money because I cannot get my motorcycle downstairs.

I think my petition is fair as they have failed to correct the issue in matter in a timely fashion.

Review: The worker said I had till June ** to pay my storage , I called today my stuff was sold June * I never got mail they said they sent , I have been [redacted] free ten months and till see doctors for scans all my important things I had we're in thereDesired Settlement: My stuff is gone ,I want cash replacement of months I paid they are covering up what the nasty lady told me June ** please help this is highwayrobbery

Review: The advertisement at the location, (reads two months free). After being with them for one month I notice that I was billed immediately. When asked about the billing and advertisement I was then told they don't haven't at every location. This is a clear case of false advertisement and entrapment, in order for the consumer to purchase (rent) space. There is no where at this location, does it mention they don't offer that special of two months free.Desired Settlement: I would to be credited back the monies owe to me, due to false advertisement.
