In reviewing *** *** complaint, she sold two tickets on *** *** for the Impractical Jokers event that took place on *** ***The tickets were delivered to the buyer at the time of the purchase, and *** *** payment began processing the next morningUnfortunately, the *** email address that had been provided by *** *** during the listing process was, unbeknownst to StubHub, incorrectOn *** *** *** *** payment was completed and deposited into the *** account that *** *** had initially provided*** *** contacted us on *** *** to let us know that the *** email address that she had initially provided was incorrect, and provided us with the correct *** email addressOn *** *** our payments department voided the original payment and attempted to re-issue the payment to *** ***, however at that time a system error occurred which prevented the system from re-issuing the paymentThe technical team was notified of the error, and on*** *** the payment was able to be re-issuedUnfortunately, the payment was re-issued to the original *** email address in errorThe payment went unclaimed, *** *** then contacted StubHub to find out why she had not received her paymentAt that time, a StubHub supervisor told *** *** that her seller’s fee would be waived due to the inconvenienceOn *** *** it was discovered once more that *** *** payment had been issued to the incorrect email address, and the payment was re-issued to the correct *** email address

After looking into this purchase and the contacts made to Customer Service by MrSchramm associated with it, there were certainly some issues I would like to addressI would first like to apologize again in the delay in getting MrSchramm’s tickets to himThis is not an experience we would want for any of our customers and the processing of this purchase should not have taken as long as it didAlso, to StubHub’s knowledge at the time of the game Heinz Field should have been equipped to scan tickets off a mobile deviceBased on MrSchramm’s experience we see this may not be the case, and while StubHub is not in control of how venue’s choose to have the tickets displayed for scanning, we want to provide you with accurate information to make sure our buyers have a great experienceWhile this is a valid purchase and StubHub would not be in a position to refund MrSchramm in full, I would like to offer to refund the purchase fee of $This would be the portion that StubHub would make on this transaction that occurred through our marketplaceMrSchramm’s seller fulfilled this order correctly and shouldn’t be penalized for issues that occurred through interactions with StubHub and the venue staff who insisted MrSchramm print his ticketsThat being said, we understand the frustration this issue caused and would like to help make it rightPlease let us know through the next response if this solution would be satisfactory

We have reviewed the purchase and the map provided on our site for this event and the map has row indicators showing that the rows in the section he had purchased for display Rows A-Z with Rows behind themSince this information is noted on our map to indicate where the rows are located, this information was in fact provided to *** *** prior to completing the purchase
This information was also provided to *** *** in a confirmation email that was sent immediately after the purchase was madeWith this information we confirmed that there was no site error that occurredPer the terms of our User Agreement, all sales are final and buyers cannot change or cancel an order after the sale is completeThis was explained to *** *** and we offered him the option to relist his ticket on StubHub and waive the selling fee if he chose to do so, which *** *** has since done for the opportunity to resell the tickets to another buyer on StubHub
We understand in this case that *** *** feels the error was not on his behalf, however we do not have any evidence to show there was a site error that occurred when the purchase was madeAs previously explained, we are not in a position to issue a refund as all sales are final

In reference to Mr***'s complaint, when the tickets in question were sold on August 24th, 2015, a confirmation email was sent immediately notifying Mr*** of the saleIn the email provided, we also provided Mr*** a link to 'Report an Issue' along with the following note: "Reminder: If you're unable to deliver the ticket as promised, your payment method will be charged an amount generally equal to 20% of your ticket cost." Mr*** contacted us immediately notifying us that the tickets were given away and no longer availableWe needed to make this issue right with his buyer under the terms of our User Agreement and FanProtectTM GuaranteeAs a result, Mr*** was not paid for the order and he was charged the 20% fee for nonfulfillment
On August 25th, 2015, Mr*** called in wanting to dispute the charge as he claimed he deactivated the listing before it soldAt that time he was provided with a charge dispute form which our customer service representative helped him fill outWe reviewed the charge dispute form it was determined the charge would not be reversed as we found no evidence that the listing was ever deactivated or deleted before it soldSellers are responsible for all costs we incur to make it right with the buyers, per our user agreement as noted aboveWe understand that situations happen and when this occurs we work with sellers to educate them further on selling procedures and review the costs incurredIn this case, our total cost to make it right for the buyer was $Per our user agreement, Mr*** would be responsible for this cost

Upon further research, Stubhub has had numerous complaints with the Revdex.com for the same reason why I am filing my claimTheir user agreement was just updated on June 1, going into effect on June 16,
When listing tickets, there is NO REFERENCE to this 20% charge that they suddenly spring on users who thought their tickets were no longer for sale
I downloaded the user agreement today, it is full pages on a PDF and is 17,words longThe 20% charge for not being able to fulfill an order is first mentioned on PAGE 22/31, in one small sentence that is not even highlighted, in bold, or made to stand outThe 20% charge is words out of nearly 18,characters in their user agreement
SUCH A DRASTIC PENALTY should be highlighted when making a listing, should be higher up and not hidden on the 22nd page, and more clear on their user agreementThey should email sellers ahead of time letting them know of possible charges, not assuming everyone reads pages or nearly 18,words of a document
I am a first time seller of the site, was not aware of their user agreement which was recently updated according to my researchI thought my tickets were removed from the site due to my illnessTheir selling process is not clear as evidenced by the very long user agreement (first mentioning the charge on page out of pages, and their business has had numerous complaints on the Revdex.com for such a hidden, outrageous, poorly executed charge
I would like the charge reversed and my account refunded the full amount

This is completely invalidOne of the multiple representatives that I spoke with Clearly stated that I had correctly deactivated the correct tickets on April 18th seat and before I sold the tickets to someone through craigslistI did not agree to *** customer until their tickets were deactivated on the StubHub site. Then I left the and available on the site as the representative confirmedAnother agent had told me that they didn't see a problem taking the correct seats and they just had to confirm with their sonI then called numerous times to check on statusI did not care if they didn't want the tickets but, I needed to sell them to a different customerStub hub left me in the dark that they reassigned the buyer until I called themI then had no time or access to list the tickets again as I was personally heading to the eventThe representative then released their location of Loge row seats 10-to me as they knew I was going to the eventThis put me at risk and the buyer at risk as if I had anger management issuesI was very curious to know why they wouldn't move over seats but, I didn't approach them at the eventI have since began the discovery for a class action lawsuit against stubhub and have found buyers that were very uncomfortable with stub hubs approach as they encourage the buyers to not accept the correct seat numbers and get better seats at the sellers expenseSome buyers have even experienced bad karma since agreeing to stub hubs aggressive approach to steal from sellers and wish they never agreed to stub hubs aggressive approach to punish buyers for errorsThis is standard practice for stub clearly through stubhub and they need to sued through a class action lawsuit to understand that this is bad business etiquette and is not fair consumer protectionThey are supposed to be an intermediary and show no favoritism toward the buyer or sellerThey have over time developed a more buyer representation rather than their representation of being a intermediary for a buyer and seller to come togetherThis representation of their company needs to be addressed and fixed before the costs of a class action lawsuit buries the company permanently. In further review their best competitor *** has a much more favorable reputation and will become the #secondary ticket market quickly if stubhub doesn't review their business practicesI expect my $*** or I will lead a very costly and effective class action lawsuits as buyers and sellers are very unhappy with their business practicesEven if you do not follow through with this obligation I hope you look at your current business practices

In reviewing *** *** StubHub account, I can see that they attempted to purchase tickets to *** *** and were unable to purchase those listingsThis was because the tickets were no longer available; we are a live site, and buyers can sometimes try to buy tickets at the same timeWhen this happens, one buyer will receive an error message and be redirected back to the browsing pageOccasionally, certain listings can be delayed by these errors, and appear on site for a period after they are not availableWhen this happens, we report it to our technical team so it happens less in the future, however there is no way to provide those tickets as they have sold.

At this point, this complaint is no longer about the charges, STUBHUB can keep the charges they so badly want to prove are validClearly they have went all out backing their policy to these fees and the fact that they don't see the error in this situation and again, only want to use their policy to explain this situation just goes to show the level they are taking to support their scam of a policy This complaint started with the intention of receiving a credit for the bogus charges, or even at least an understanding of the situation and perhaps some sort of meet in the middle resolution, but instead STUBHUB is only wanting to resolve this in the form of taking the money and being done thereafterClearly no support or effort to resolve this specific situation, other than to back it up by their policy and policy alone, has been shown on their partI don't even want the credit back, I want STUBHUB to be investigated by the Revdex.com for the way they conduct their policies and resolutions to issues that occur within their businessTheir a third party ticketing site for a reason, to solely benefit themselves and their loyalty is not to the buyer, as stated on their website, or the seller but rather to themselves only.
