Student Processing Center Reviews (54)

We have reached out to Mr. [redacted] directly to resolve his issue.
We are confident he will be fully satisfied with the outcome although as of
this date we have not yet been able to reach him in order to...

explain our
resolution.

We review our complaints and
take them very seriously to ensure our clients receive the best possible
customer service. We understand borrowers with student loans are facing severe
hardship and that is where companies like ours can help to ease...

the burden.
First, Mr. [redacted] would never
have been contacted by his current loan servicer, had we not
submitted a forbearance request to them shortly after Mr. [redacted] decided to
move forward with our services. If this company is truly looking out for his
best interests, why did they wait until they were about to lose his business
before contacting him? Unfortunately, the federal loan servicers trade stock on
the NY stock exchange just like any other private company which means they are
a for-profit business regardless of who they affiliate themselves with.
In terms of a refund, Mr. [redacted]
was refunded in full and if he doesn't receive his funds within the next few
business days, we ask that he feel free to call us directly for an update.
Generally, our process does require proof of the consolidation being cancelled
prior to a refund and that appears to be the nature of the miscommunication
here. We ask that Mr. [redacted] keeps in mind that all servicers are different in
that regard meaning some will automatically provide a cancellation letter and
some will not. Overall, we wish him the best of luck and will make sure he is
refunded in full.
Companies like ours are in fact
consumer advocates who look out for our clients’ best interests. We are not the
servicers of student loans which means we are not in the business of making
sure borrowers continue to make payments to us with no end in sight. Fraudulent
behavior by the loan servicers is not new and anyone can quickly research the
massive class-action lawsuits filed against servicers such as Sallie Mae in
recent history.
Thank you,

I received a resolution to my complaint from the Student Processing Center. They refunded my money for the services.

First and foremost,...

Student Processing Center takes any
and all complaints seriously.  We have a dedicated compliance department
monitoring and reviewing all incoming and outgoing calls in order to maintain
the highest level of customer service in the industry. On November 19th
Ms. [redacted] called our office regarding the consolidation of her student
loans. She spoke with Mr. [redacted] one of our Student Loan Advisors for roughly
30 minutes. Mr. [redacted] received an email from Ms. [redacted] on November 20th
at 8:16am requesting that her application be deleted and to have a supervisor
contact her to confirm.  Our supervisor [redacted]
contacted the client and left her a Voicemail on November 20th at 10:41am
confirming that her application has been deleted and that no further action was
required.  After not hearing back from Ms.
[redacted] contacted her again on November 21st at 9:11am to confirm
she had received the Voicemail. Ms [redacted] stated that she hadn’t listened to the
message yet so [redacted] went a head and explained to her that her information has
been deleted, and upon ending the phone call believed to have satisfied her
concern/request. Below you will see the corresponding email confirming the communication
between Ms. [redacted] and our company. We have deleted Ms [redacted] entire application
from our data base and she has been removed from all future solicitations. We
wish Ms. [redacted] the best and we thank her for the opportunity to help.

Subject: Removal of Information/Student Processing Center
Hello [redacted],
It was a pleasure speaking with you this morning. Sorry
you didn’t get a chance to listen to my voicemail yesterday. That may have alleviated some concern. This is an
email confirming the deletion of your application. None of your information has
been or will be shared with anyone else.
We currently have no record of you any longer in our system. You have
also been removed from any future solicitations from our company.  We hope this satisfies your request and wish
you the best. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to help you.  We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may
have caused. Have a good day.

highest degree of customer satisfaction. Mr. [redacted] provided his payment

separate
membership that he choose to opt-out of. No payment information was
disseminated to another company as our company processes all payments through a
highly-secure trust account.  Mr. [redacted] was immediately refunded without
question and, as a courtesy, we provided the document preparation service he

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I read over the response from Student Processing Center and was not okay with their response to my complaint. I called the manager of SPC, [redacted], who had left two voicemails last week while I was at work and we discussed my complaint and he apologized and informed me that he was issuing me a full refund of $599 that should be in there by this week (he said should be three days from when I called on Thursday). So I am waiting until the end of the week for my refund to show up otherwise I'll be calling him back again to see why it hasn't been refunded. Once I get my refund then my complaint will be considered taken care of and can be closed.Thank you for all your help thus far
Regards,
[redacted] ([redacted])

This company is a scam. They informed me that I was eligible for income based repayment plans that I was completely not eligible to apply for and demanded if I paid over $700.00 they could get me locked in to these terms. Eight months later, after I have done all the leg work, called back 20+ times when I did not hear anything in their time frames, and contacted the Department of Education on my own and found out they messed up on getting some documentation to the FedLoan, and missing correct information they informed me that I was no longer eligible for those plans and I need to refile under a different plan resulting in payments 3 times what they sold me on.

We apologize for any inconvenience Ms. [redacted] experienced. We have contacted her and she confirmed that this matter has been taken care of and can be closed. We wish Ms. [redacted] the best.

The Issue has been resolved. Thank you very much.
