Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below This doesn't help us now in our current very serious situation, which was the whole pointWhile I appreciate the effort and respect the rules and regulations, this money is benefitting StudentCity for another year, and not a family in needThere is a very good chance that our daughter won't even continue at [redacted] next year due to our circumstances Regards, [redacted] ***

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] From reviewing other Revdex.com complaints and other websites, I appreciate your form response that you seem so ready to send because of the illegal pattern and practice However, when a business makes a specific representation, especially in writing, that induces a consumer to enter a transaction, that is called fraud in the inducement I reject your response and I have disputed this transaction with my credit card company For StudentCity to put in writing that the hotel room will have beds, then switch to a one-bedroom, that is a breach of contract I do not see how the Revdex.com gives StudentCity a good rating and because my complaint is very similar to many other consumers' experience, I would hope the Revdex.com would notify the MA Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs to the MA AG can open an investigation into StudentCity for a bait and switch pattern and practice Regards, [redacted]

I submitted a complaint through you as I had communicated with student city already and was not being offered a refund I very much deserve. The email you sent me I had already read and replied to. Student City claims to have offered me all services I paid for which is untrue. I have now tried multiple times to resolve this issue with them which is why I am now going through the Revdex.com. A $100 voucher for their company does me no good and I will never use their services again which I have made clear to them. I am upset that as a customer I paid $280 for services I was not provided with and now deserve a refund not a voucher.  Regards,
[redacted]

Dear [redacted],Our GradCity Customer Care team has explained your available options in regards to your deposit. The deposit is non-refundable per our Terms and Conditions which have been provided to you and are available on our website. You have the option of selling your spot and receiving the deposit from your replacement. If you decide not to travel then you have $100 of the $175 deposit as a reusable credit with GradCity or StudentCity. These are the Terms and Conditions in which your daughter agreed to upon signing up. If you would like to continue with one of your options please contact our office at [email protected] you,GradCity

Dear [redacted],Your daughter, [redacted], went on to the GradCity website and signed up for a GradCity trip. Through our website each customer has the ability and opportunity to review trip details, payment plans, update personal information, and more regarding their specific trip and account. Each...

customer has the ability and opportunity to read the Terms and Conditions; and each customer must agree to the Terms and Conditions before they make their first deposit. On September 25, 2016 your daughter agreed to the Terms and Conditions of GradCity and made a payment of $175 for the deposit of her trip. Here is a journal log from her account:[redacted] accepted Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy email: [redacted].[redacted]@gmail.com bdate: 1998-12-13Web Site09/25/16 12:40:24 AMThe Terms and Conditions clearly state the deposit is non-refundable:III. RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS A. DEPOSITS: Your NON-REFUNDABLE per person deposit amount described in brochure/flier/invoice/website/ confirmation is required by due date in order to secure reservation. Monthly and final payments are due in our office by the due date associated therewith. Payment due dates vary according to your Vacation Package and chosen payment plan. Please refer to your web account or invoice for exact payment due dates or contact our office. Failure to make on-time payments may result in cancellation of reservation, loss of first choice hotel, flight, cruise and/or other transportation, reservation suspension, assessment of a late payment fee or reinstatement fee, and/or removal of all price discounts/adjustments and booking incentives previously applied to your account. Before Final Payment Due Date (FPDD) up to $100 of your NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is reusable for one year from the date of cancellation. However, GradCity does allow $100 of the $175 deposit as a reusable credit with either GradCity or our sister company StudentCity. Additionally, our Customer Care department told [redacted] of the option of doing a Name Change where they can sell their spot on the trip and receive the full $175 deposit back from their replacement. Our Customer Care department also notified [redacted] that if she contacted us within the first 24 hours of the deposit being made, without her knowledge or consent, we would have been able to refund her as a courtesy. Unfortunately the account has been active for over a month and yesterday, November 1st, 2016, was the first contact we had from [redacted]. Therefore the Terms and Conditions are upheld as well as [redacted]'s available options. If [redacted] would like to continue to discuss their available options, GradCity is more than happy to assist with this. Thank you,GradCity
