Review: I purchased a refrigerator that hasn't worked properly since I bought it. They have sent someone to "fix" it at least 6 times and the issues still exist. The refrigerator does not get cold enough or maintain it's temperature and the ice machine does not work. They do not return phone calls half of the time or show up. I have lost several food items since it has stopped getting cold on several occasions. The "manager" is very rude and hangs up on me.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

I purchased a used refrigerator with a 30 day guarantee that was not working properly. I called [redacted] and told them that the refrigerator I purchased (within 30 days) was not staying cold and they stated that they would send a Technician out to have a look at it which they did. The Technician came out and said the unit needed a new fan motor and he would be back out the next day to replace it, he never showed. I have made numerous calls to have my unit fixed, replaced or to give me my money back and they keep saying they will come out to replace it because the fan motor is more expensive then the refrigerator itself. I have taken time off work to wait for them to show up and they never do. This problem has continued for more then three week and I just keep calling them to resolve the problem but they have been very rude and used curse words, very unprofessional company.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

[redacted] came into our establishment on the 24th of February 2014 to purchase a used refrigerator. The refrigerator that the customer [redacted] chose was [redacted] bisque which was at the cost of $180.00 plus tax and a delivery fee which totaled 217.00. At the time of purchase our explanation to the customer [redacted] was informed that the appliance came with a strict thirty day warrantee and that the customer was aware that the item was be sold as an "As Is" item. This meant that the customer knowing purchased the refrigerator in its current state and that the warrantee only covered mechanical issues for the next thirty days. Alongside with this warrantee, the store policy that the customer signed at the bottom of the receipt indicated that there is a no cash return policy and that only exchange or store credit may be available if the customer chose to return the item. In mid March the customer [redacted] called to request service on the refrigerator, claiming that the machine was making a small noise and was concerned. At which point our service technician [redacted] visited the residence of Mr. [redacted] at [redacted]. The technician [redacted] then diagnosed the refrigerator by stating the fan needed replacing. Then the technician informed the customer [redacted] that the refrigerator is an older model and that ordering the fan may take some time to locating the correct part. Also that there will be a call made to him at time of receiving the fan, and stressing that this may take two to three weeks given the age of the refrigerator making the order a little more difficult.

In the mean time the refrigerator in that state would still work correctly with a slight noise. During the time from that call to the next service call, Mr. [redacted] called everyday in an angry vulgar matter, demanding the knowledge of his part. Multiple employees experienced numerous insults fi·mn the calls with Mr. [redacted]. It is the store policy when this situation occurs, is to give the customer a warning to not use such language or we would be forced to terminate the phone call. The customer [redacted] would then result back with more call backs in anger to the tem1ination of the call claiming that our company was being unprofessional in regards to tenninating the call. With Mr. [redacted] this was exercised on more then one occasion and has been forced to only deal with management solely. Management then decided to resolve the issue prior to the receiving the part to dispel the harassing phone calls to our establishment. Management offered to switch out the refrigerator with a similar one matching the then current refrigerator. Mr. [redacted] consented to the switching of the machines to resolve the issue. Soon after the switch was made, Mr. [redacted] needs in regards to contract were met. This complaint made against Sun Cities Appliance/[redacted] is false in the matter that the customer was given fair warning of terminating the phone calls due to the vulgar language he chose to use. Each employee whom has dealt with Mr. [redacted] can he held in witness to the character of conversation they had with the customer [redacted]. Lastly Mr. [redacted] continues to slander our company on multiple sites including "[redacted]" and "[redacted]".

Review: Thia company charged our credit card more then the recipt. They sold us a product we paid for it then they said that dishwasher was already sold and delivered a diffrent product. I had 1 delivery set up and 4 service calls for non working equipment and equipment starting on fire. 5 times they told me they were coming to fix thing is spent over 25 days I'm less the 90 waiting for them to show up. The owner yelled at me and told me if I return the appliances I would regret it. [redacted] they sold me most likely stolen appliances due to the serial numbers being missing from 2 out of 2 items. I now am stuck with a stove that lagoons flames out of the back of it. Which [redacted] the owner had her service tech come out and his fix was 2 inches of electrical tape rather than 2 2 dollar light sensor. Buy the way my house could burn down. I am stuck with a dishwasher that has no operating parts on the inside and has never once worked. They told me to go buy a new water heater and the dishwasher should work fine. The service man has been here 2 or 3 times for that. Now I am being told that I have faulty wiring in my house and I should call an electrician. That's what [redacted] told me.

I hired an outside company to do a diagnostic on all equipment. The refrigerator has the social number cut out. (I haven't even been able to hook the refrigerator up to the water line because I can not finish remodeling my kitchen until I have appliances put in). The dishwasher has also had the serial number removed and no parts that go with this dishwasher or work. There is black mold in the dishwasher also. Really black mold. Well the stove has a serial number but shoots flames out of it and also has a f code that I've told [redacted] about. The f code is a faulty temperate sensor and there is a faulty sensor light.

I am now 7 days until my warrenty ends. I have places over 25 phone calls trying to have this fixed. I am told by the end of the day and for example I have been waiting for someone sense 12/30/2014. [redacted] threatened me, yelled at me, and called me and all the other people that have reviewed her for the same issues liars.

Shut this buisness down. I am out over 1000 dollars and have a house full of fire hazards. I literally have no stove dishwasher or refrigerator. I need help please. I have pictures videos and phone records of almost everything that has happened.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to be prosecuted and shut down. I'm not the only person this is happening to. I want my money back and reimbursement for 25 days I have had to sit here and not work. I would like to see [redacted] behind bars. I would also like an apology to every person they have done this to. I want help.

We did sell these items on this date October 25, 1014 to [redacted], She picked them out herself she saw them She new they were used. She did mention to us that they were for her daughter and she didn't want to spend anymore money than she had to because, she had already spent a lot on her, fixing this house.As you can see our invoice (enclose) she bought used therefore all serial numbers are remove from our appliances. Our Outlet Company does the removal of all serial numbers at the warehouse. This is how all our appliances come in without any serial number. [redacted] called us on December 10, 2014 for the first time to inform us that the dishwasher wasn't working, she also gave us a phone number of [redacted] her phone was disconnected or not working we had to call her mother at work to get in touch with her to let her know we were on our why. We get there her not there, so we left her a sorry miss u call on her door. A couple of hours later she calls us using all kinds of profanity on the phone, we advice her that we did not tolerate that language she needed to speak to us vvithout the profanity.We make arrangements to go out the next days, and we found pennies inside her dishwasher PENNIES inside the dishwasher they were stuck on the pump, she had noclue how they got there. And as for the range she never mention anything about it to us Not even when our teclmician was out there removing her pennies out of her dishwasher. [redacted] called us on Wednesday but to call us names use profanity again, then screaming on the phone that she wanted these appliances pick up and wanted her money back, But she did mention to us that she. would get her money back by all means, because she would make these appliances look so bad after she recorded them just to get her money back. She also mentions that she would get another applian.ce company to check them out after she got done with. them to prove her point, that these appUances were defected.We strive in keeping our customer happy so they can come back but when they lie over and over th.ere really no point in trying to keep them. [redacted] had a very strange why of explaining the issue on hand, If She should tell the truth maybe that would help her along the way, most of the inform she wrote to you is not even remotely true in fact none of it is.Also we did inform her that by her call a different appliance company to go out and check our appliance after she tampered with them, causes our warranty to get voided.And please advice [redacted] not to contact us anymore we do not wish to hear her yell and curse at us on the phone.

Review: In store contact was made 06/15/2015 to purchase a refrigerator. The sales person [redacted] told us that she had a white GE Profile refrigerator not in store but available for an 'out the door price' including delivery of $600.00. The payment was made. Delivery was set up for 06/17/2015. No contact from business for delivery on that day. After two calls originated from buyer that day and getting excuses, a loaner refrigerator was delivered. The ice machine on the loaner did not work. A call was made to the seller and a man said that [redacted] was not available but that someone would be out the next morning to 'fix it'. There was no follow up on that. The buyer contacted seller on 06/19/2015 to check on status for GE. Ice maker computer board was defective and a new board needed to be ordered. Buyer called store at 9:58 a.m. on 06/20/2015 and was told [redacted] was busy with customer. No return call. Buyer visited store later on 06/20/2015 and was told ice maker had made one load of ice and if continued to function, delivery could be made 06/22/2015. No calls were made from seller. On the morning of 06/23/2015 buyer in person went to store and asked for the money back minus fifty dollars for loaner. [redacted] said she needed to fax bookkeeper and it would take 2-3 days before a check would be mailed to buyer. No contact made until buyer on 06/30/2015 called with second request for turning money. Negotiation contact was restarted by buyer on 07/01/2015 and as of this complaint, no money has been refunded.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome is a thorough investigation for this business. The operators need professional and personal training.

[redacted] did purchase a white side /side refrigertor for our company on June 15, 2015. She saw a stainless steel side/side Ge refrigerator and ask if we had a white one like that, we told Her maybe, we would check with the warehouse. She inform us that Her daughter would come in and pick a refrigerator and if we could deliver as soon as possible because she was living off an ice chest. Her daughter came in and stated I don't care I just want a white refrigerator. We had to make arrangement with [redacted] which is the mother to deliver the refrigertor because the daughter has a very busy schedule with Her kids no time for a deliver. We delivered a white side /side refrigerator to Her. A couple of days later [redacted] called the daughter that the ice maker wasn't working. we advice Her that we would have to set up a service call and take a look at the refrigerator. She called us back a few minutes later and stated that She wanted the GE refrigerator instead and not to come out and fix this one, She wanted to exchange the refrigator for the Ge. We advised Her that we did not have one in stock and would take a couple of days to get one She was okay with that. The next day the mother come in the store a tells us that She wants Her money back becuse this is causing to much stress on Her daughter. Really! stress over a refrigerator.We told the mother that we don't do refund that why we have warranty. She didn't want to hear that the stress was to much for Her daughter. She just wanted Her money back.At this point to deal with the mother and the daughter was to much work to much drama! we told them that we would have to get approval on the refund but more than likely we could take care of it in a couple of days. The mother even told us to keep $50.00 for the inconvenience She cause.We submitted for the refund and we will refund the money back because to deal with the mother and daughter is not worth it.We advice the daughter that we would pick the refrigerator on July 7, 2015 and at the same time pick our refrigerator too!

Update from meeting 07/07/2015 1:00 p.m. As the buyer, we met at the store with my daughter who had been instructed to meet there at 1:00 p.m. to get money refunded and make arrangements to pick up the [redacted] loaner per phone call arrangements with '[redacted]' to my daughter days earlier and as stated in the response from the store from [redacted] was not there. [redacted] placed a call to him and we were told he was at a meeting and that pick up and cash refund would happen between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. My daughter tried to call [redacted] but no answer. She left a polite message. After we left the store, my daughter got a belligerent call from '[redacted]' stating that we could have an in store credit that must be used in thirty days. This is not acceptable. This business has nothing we would want. This is the principle of the problem now. We do not want to negotiate with them. They make excuses and don't live up to their word. They twist the circumstances. Their products and service are unacceptable. Ms [redacted] am truly sorry with this issue , but you are not been told the truth by your daughter on what she did outside our store that day. We would have done the refund and picked up the refrigerator but that little drama act your daughter did was uncalled for. Also all the BS she is writing about doesn't make it any better. I will consider the refund but I will only deal with you and not your daughter. If this is agreeable I will call you and set the time and day. But I will first inform the Revdex.com when we will do this refund because I don't want your daughter involved in this exchange or this refund.If this is agreeable I can set it up for August 3, 2015 am between 9:00 and 12:00. Had a horrible experience with this Sun City Scratch and Dent Company. Their word and honesty is highly questionable, they did not stand behind their warranty policy and threatened to come into my home without my permission and remove the warranty item. They are criminals in how they operate their business.

Review: Review: [redacted] Refrigerator purchased March13, 2014.

Complaints expressed to the following personnel:

[redacted] (spelling?) - March 14, 2014 and weekly thereafter. Each time she promised it would be fixed. Each time unskilled service reps came. Didn't have a clue what to do; however tinkered with it and assured us it was fixed.

We are snowbirds from Wisconsin and had to return to WI on May 17, 2014. We were assured by [redacted] and [redacted] (owner) that the 3 month warranty would NOT apply until after they repaired the refrigerator to our satisfaction. They agreed they would come back upon our winter 2014 return to "fix" the refrigerator.

Upon return in October, my husband, [redacted], made contact with [redacted]. Again, promises were made a repair person would be sent out to fix it. No clue. Continued tinkering with it.

(NOTE: When purchased, we were assured the refrigerator was in excellent working condition. The problems became evident the first night of delivery.)

Totally frustrated and in a last-ditch attempt to give them one last chance to redeem themselves, my husband drove to the store. He talked to [redacted], personally. [redacted] explained that this was his last attempt. [redacted] was very "nice" promising to send someone the next day to get it fixed. He said the service person would call within a window of time before arriving. My husband waited at home ALL DAY.

No one showed. No one called. The next morning, [redacted] contacted Sun City Affordable Appliance Repair, [redacted], Chandler, AZ; Phone #[redacted]. They sent Carlos to inspect the refrigerator to determine the problem. He concluded the thermostat does not work AND it had a bad condenser. We paid Carlos $55.00.

The following day, [redacted] visited [redacted] again with the diagnosis. [redacted] called Carlos and discussed the situation!

[redacted] promised to send someone the next day with the required replacement parts. When the service person arrived. ..he had NO parts with him. He left without fixing the problems.

12/04/14 - Date of last contact between [redacted] and [redacted].

We are finished working with Sun City Appliance, [redacted] and [redacted]!

We have purchased a new refrigerator which will be delivered 12/15/14 SearsDesired Settlement: We want our original purchase cost of $380 for the refrigerator. If not received, we will consider Small Claims Court.

A huge warning to all: Do NOT do business with this retail business. We learned too late that they have cheated others. Wondering why the State Attorney hasn't shut them down.

We did sell this refrigerator to [redacted] on March 18, 2014. But we only give out a three month warranty it noted in her invoice, and we give no exceptions. We can not keep track on the warrant base on the time you live here. I don't believe nobody does that, it's like buying a car and driving it for two month, then a year later your car brakes down and you call your auto company where you purchase your car and advice them that your car is broken, but you only drove it for two month within that year. It only has one year warranty regarding how long you drove it for. The warranty is only for that period of time!We do sometime go out and service an appliance that is out of warranty at no charge. But charge the customer for the part only. But never have we extended our warranty base on the time you live here.If Ms. Klein, called another company out to check the refrigerator besides us that her choice not ours. We have no idea who this company is Sun City Affordable Appliance Repair Company we have no connection with them at all. Why would call them, to ask them, what the problem was, when I could have sent my technician out myself to check the refrigerator. And for her to state that we went out there and didn't know w t we were doing is crazy. We have nothing on file or records that she called us for any service during the three month period. Her husband did come in December 2014 to inform us about the refrigerator not working but it was out of warranty. We did offer to go out thereat no charge, but He refused He also informed us at that time that it was the compressor, because that what He was told by the other repair company. If the customer would have been more correct in there statements and not male up this all allegations about us we could of help them but, when they make up these story just so they can get something fix without money out of pocket is wrong!I hope that this customer understands that we work with our customers just as long that they be truthful with us.Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a Kitchen set of appliances from Sun Cities Appliances, on 7/4/2014. The appliances were delivered on 7/10/2014, and the Stove top was in extremely bad condition, the microwave was used and completely covered with grease and food, and the refrigerator looked to be in good shape. At time of delivery we were given in written writing that they were ordering the stove top and would be replacing. The microwave they did however replace it with a new scratch and dent one (so very satisfied with that). The fridgerator after letting run for 72 hours as requested by Sun Cities Appliances, seemed to be working so we transferred all our food to new one. The next day we came home and all of our food and frozen meats were ruined. We lost over $400 worth of food. So when we called them to come and fix, they did send someone out the next day and he did no trouble shooting to determine the problem but only pushed refrigerant into the compressor. So, the next morning the refrigerator was still not working. We called again and they said they would come out again and after 2 weeks and numerous calls they came back out while my son was home and fixed a water line that they say was kinked and that was causing the issue. Well, needless to say the refrigerator still did not work. We financed this purchase and have been paying the monthly installments for equipment that does not work. They continue to tell us that they are going to replace but I still have 2 refrigerators in my kitchen and one that does not work. The refrigerator was 70% of the purchase amount. They have told us that they have stopped by our house to fix a couple of time, but never called us to schedule. And every time we call to see if this is going to get taken care of before the 90 warranty term is up they continue to tell us that the person that handles that is not in the office and will call us back. Well that has been at least a dozen times now. And I still have no idea if I will ever get the appliance fixed or replaced. They do not give refunds.Desired Settlement: I would like for it to be replaced or fixed, and also the 90 warranty on the refrigerator be started at that point. And if this is not going to happen then they should allow a refund on this appliance as it never worded from point of purchase. And it was sold with the understanding that it worded.

Meanwhile, when washing, water was leaking behind the machine, warping the floor, which required an insurance claim .

Approximate date September 16 2014 Washer leaked again

Repairman [redacted] inspected unit- need new water pump .

I spoke with [redacted] from Sun City Appliances for new water pump and agreed to pay $280.00

Because the water pump was to be mailed express agreement between [redacted] and I was for me to pay for pump and the mailing.

She stated they would not charge me any tax or LABOR .

/ Sept. 28 2014 After 4 washing cycles, the washer again leaked during the 5th

wash.

Sept. 29 2014 Called Sun Cities Appliance

Repairman did not show up this date -too late, which was OK. [redacted] due Sept. 9/30

I checked on line prices for both washer motor and pump

Motor $89 to $138 Pump $100

Sept 30 2014 Spoke with [redacted] and gave her the above figures, and asked for my money back, and take the pump and or washing machine -refused. I mentioned appealing to Revdex.com, [redacted], and Legal to [redacted].

Repairman never showed. Called [redacted] and she said the she was advised by "they" not to speak to me because of my mention of Revdex.com, [redacted], LegalDesired Settlement: Refund of $280.00 credit on my [redacted]

Let the record reflect that I requested a breakdown Invoice of fees regarding the water pump installation.

This lady is crazy, she purchase this washer new two and a half years ago. The first time we did a service call was about a year ago just a couple of months out of warranty, and found nothing wrong with the washer at that time. About a year later she called again it was September 2014 we went out to check the washer and discovered that the water pump was bad we advice her of the cost to repair it $280.00. She agreed to pay. She informed us to order the pump, few days later after we fix it. Then she called to inform us that she found out that the pump for only $89.00 on the internet.She wanted to know why we charger her $280.00 to repair it. We advice her that was our cost. I am sending you a copy of what an average cost is to fix these item this guidebook nationwide.We can't go by what the part go for on the internet, we advice customer of the cost of the item and the repairs if they want it fix it is total up to them. But they are aware of the total amount before service is done. In this case she was aware of the cost and repairs.Sincerely,

Review: My health issue is , I can't eat spoiled food. I purchased a refrig and the appliance business wont refund my money, after I had them the first time come and fix the refrig, a week and a half later, I had the same problem. I feel I gave them a chance to make it right. When the problem is still happening, enough is enough. I have a 90 day warranty, which I feel they are not honoring.Desired Settlement: 90 day warranty is still enough time to make it right. They have been arguing with me about the refrig, and wont give me my money back. Why would I want a bad refrig, supposedly fixed, when they have the refrigerator. Just give Me my money back, and all will be right.

April21, 2015 Re: [redacted] Sun City AZ 85373 Complaint #[redacted] She did purchase a refrigerator from our company on February 27, 2015. She called us on March 23 2015 that the refrigerator wasn't working and that all her food h spoiled. Upon getting there, the refrigerator was working fine and the temperature was right. No food was spoiled and the refrigerator was in working order. She called us again that the refrigerator was not working and she wanted her money back and we told her NO! Unless there is something wrong with the refrigerator we could not do anything. She yelled at us and told us to pick it up and test it ourselves. She said the refrigerator would turns off and everything would deforest. So we picked it up on Tuesday and tested it for four days we even recorded it. There is nothing wrong with the refrigerator it works fine. When we called her on Thursday, I told her that I couldn't give her a refund because there was nothing wrong with the refrigerator. She started yelling and demanding her money. This lady doesn't seem to have the medical issues she claims. She is very loud demanding person and very rude when she speaks. She yells at me on the phone the entire time. Her husband is a very sweet understanding gentleman. They both came in on Saturday to pick up the refrigerator and we showed them the temperature. We offered to show them the recording of the refrigerator and they decline to see them. And as far as arguing with. us, she's the one that keep yelling at us demanding her money back, if anything she should be ashamed of herself for behaving badly.We do not give back refund just because you don't want the item anymore or after you use it for almost three months or because you decide to get a different one. [redacted] min regards to the responds about how the refrigerator was working fine the first time we called , why did [redacted] the repairman install a part in the freezer and stated that it would take about 4-6hoirs to cool down to correct setting and the second time we called for repairs after throwing out milk and a few other foods lost dew to the refrigerator not cooling down. We asked to get a new refrigerator and pay the difference that is when she came up with it will be 589.00 for a new one and got upset when we told her we could get one at another store cheaper she said we could pick it up later that day but would not get our money back for two days due to the bookkeeper would have to cut a check , we stated that we paid cash for the unit and wanted our money back as such. She then did not pick up the refrigerator until the next day and came up with the thing is working fine and could not find the receipt and when did we buy, then two days later the bookkeeper called and claims she could not find the receipt and how did we pay for it. So if anybody was lying about anything we have nothing to gain . We always have done business with there company , if we were such bad people why did we not keep the money for the refrigerator. They delivered it and never picked up the balance of the money owed on the unit , called and delivered the money the very next day. As she was really surprized that we brought the money in to her. There also was a 90 day warranty, and I felt Very lied to about the 90 day warranty. After have their So called tech come out and check once, that was enough time invested to know it was not going to work for me, and I had a whole freezer , and refrig full of food that needed to be cold . I didn't have time to be NICE, especially after throwing good food away. I still needed a reliable refrig, THAT WORKED.

ON ALL THE CALLS WE WENT WE FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE REFRIGERATOR this CUSTOMER DOESN'T WANT THE REFRIGERATOR ANYMORE BECAUSE SHE WANTED A NEW ONE. they BROUGHT IT IN AND WE TESTED FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND RECORDED THE TEMPERATURE EVERY MORNING NOON AND EVENING AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG WE OFFERED TO SHOW THEM THE RECORDING THEY REFUSED. tHERE IS NOTHING ELSE WE CAN DO THE ITEM WORKS FINE IF SHE WANTS A NEW ONE SHE SHOULD HAVE ORDER ONE FROM THE VERY FIRST TIME. tHESE CUSTOMER THINK THAT THEY CAN USED AN ITEM FOR FOUR MONTHS THEN CLAIM THAT IT NEVER WORKED AND THEY WANT THERE MONEY BACK WE ONLY HAVE A THREE MONTH WARRANTY AND THEY KNOW THIS BECAUSE WE TELL THEM AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE AND THEY SIGN THE PAPER KNOWING THIS. I DON'T FEEL WE OWE HER ANYTHING SHE CAN TELL YOU ALL THE STORIES SHE WANTS BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THE REFRIGERATOR WORKS FINE

Review: I purchased on 10/07/2013 a refurbished washing machine from Sun Cities Appliance and the gentleman that loaded the washer said that the water running out of the machine into my truck was normal and was from them servicing the unit to make sure it was in working order. I took the machine home and hooked it up and it would not stop filling with water, water was also pouring out from the machine at all three water levels. I immediately contacted the company and they had closed, it was 06:07pm, 10/08/2013 Tuesday morning I called to explain the problem and they said they would come out to repair the unit, I explained that it would have to be after 04:00pm because no one is home, they said they had someone going out to the house between 12-2, I explained I do not get home from work until after 0400pm and that no one would be there, I contacted them when I got home from work and they said someone already went out to the house and said no one answered the door, I explained that I told them twice that it has to be after 0400pm and a woman [redacted] said that her tech was already on their way back and it would have to be 10/09/2013, on 10/09 @ 12:53pm [redacted] called our cell phone and said the tech had showed up today and knocked on the door this morning 3 x and no one answered my fiancé received this call and told [redacted] that they were instructed not to come out until after 0400pm because no one would be home and she said they refused to come out to repair the washing machine because it had to be on their time. With no one home until after work it would be impossible to for them to get into the house to fix this washer and now she is refusing to repair the unit and needs to pick this up and credit my account with progressive for $246.57.Desired Settlement: We need a certified technician to come out and repair the unit when someone is home which is not until after 0400pm weekdays and all day on Saturday.

Review: I contacted Sun City Appliance on 07/5 to schedule an appt for them to determine the problem with my dishwasher. We scheduled an appt for 7/9 from the hours of 8am to 10am. I waited until 10:45am, no call and no show. I proceeded to take a shower to get ready for work. When I got out of the shower I saw I had missed calls on my cell phone. I called the numbers and it was Sun City Appliance. They told me their technician was at the door at 10:50am and since I failed to respond they are going to charge me $59 for the service call. I explained to them we had window of between 8am and 10am. They never called me to advise they were running late or anything. I waited as long as I could. When I called to find out what happened, the lady I spoke with was very rude, and said because did not answer they are going to charge me anyways. It was an hour outside of the time they said they would be there. She was not willing to work with me at all. It was their error when they did not come during the window they gave me. They should not have charged me for the service call.Desired Settlement: Refund the charge of $59.00

problems with the dishwasher. We called her and schedule for July 9, 2013

between 9- 12 am. That morning Ms [redacted] didn't answer her phone so I called

[redacted] the landlord to advice her that her tenant wasn't answering her phone,

she advice me that to go ahead and proceed over there to fix the dishwasher

because she knew she was home and was waiting for us. So we sent our repair guy

out there, now this is at 20th street we are station on the west

side of town in El Mirage it's quite a distance. Upon arriving we knock on her

door waited then tried knocking again called her no answer waited again called

again waited twenty minutes. We then called [redacted] the landlord we advice her

that her tenant wasn't home and that there would be a service call charge, she didn't

feel that was a problem and advised us that she would pay for the service call

and she would bill Ms. [redacted] for the service call since she wasn't home.

then called us yelling and telling us that she was in the shower and we had

schedule her for 10:00 am and since we weren't there she went in the shower.

That is not true we don't give exact time because issues like this. I don't

know why she complaining about she is the one that wasn't home or didn't answer

her door I don't feel we did anything wrong if anything she is wrong for not

keeping her appointment. Even her landlord was upset about this.

The business continues to use lies and bait and switch tactics to charge the landlord when the business made the mistake. The main lie is the time frame of the appointment. The response said the appointment time was from 9-12p. This is a complete lie. The appointment was scheduled from 8am to 10am. They did not come to my house until 10:50am. They did NOT contact me to let me know they were running late or anything. The lady who is fighting this response was not involved when the appointment was scheduled. It was a young man who I spoke with and the appointment was set for 8-10a. They are lieing to make their claim. Completely unethical.

Ms [redacted] neither you or your landlord payed us anything on this service call so I do not know why you are complaining about , the ones that should be complaining should be us we drove all the way out to 20th street for nothing, after your landlord informed us that you were home and to proceed with the service call. I don't know why you insist that we told you a certain time, for that last 30 years we have never giving time on our services calls or delivers because of issues like yours. Again I don't know why you are even complaining about you didn't pay us NOTHING! Your landlord informed us to deal with you! because you were the one that was not home. I would never do business with Sun City Appliances, a company that lies. Perfect example, the first response from the company says they gave me a Window of 9am to 12pm but then in the second response they say in the past 30 years they NEVER give windows. They can't keep their lies straight. Thank you for proving my point. This is a horrible company to do business with.

I understand that this business offers a product and service to the lower class and therefore the products and services are not the best quality. However, the overall approach to customers and landlords is borderline criminal with her petty slander. Becky, is extremely unprofessional calling names and being, to put it bluntly, trashy. I can not think of a more appropriate word to describe her behavior. I am a landlord and have had to deal with her numerous times and every time it has been horrifically unpleasant. If you want proof, give her a call as someone she owes money to and you will see how this "lady" acts on the phone. The business would do much better if she was fired, or at least never had to deal with customers and landlords ever. I have never had to work with someone so angry and just purely trashy. No one should have to speak with such an awful person with poor values and the most vile mouth I have ever heard.

Guess I should have read the reviews before going to this store.
I did not even get to become a customer. Not that I didn't try. Had an appointment set up to get my freezer repaired and my dryer cleaned. No call, no show. Thought maybe I had the date wrong. Called to verify date and time, was told she'd call me back. Again, no call no show.
Then my manager at work went to the Glendale location, which Sun Cities told me that is where the fridge we wanted for work was located. He went, it had a sold sign on it. Instead of showing him another appliance, he walked away, went to the back room and never came back out, just started playing with the child there.
So, after reading the reviews and my experience, guess it is a good thing they were a no call no show.
