Sun Valley Solar Solutions installed our solar system in The installation process was very professional Over the years there have been two issues that needed to be addressed Sun Valley was very responsive and responded and resolved the issues within days Their staff members responded to my issues immediately by both email, telephone and subsequently a visit by a service representative Great company Many of our friends had other companies install their solar system and the difference in the installation process was obvious The Sun Valley installation was far superior

Not a single item has gone correctly from Sales to Final turn-on Sales mis-represented the scope of what could and couldn't be controlled by their demand managerRather than admit fault, project management decided to deal in mis-information and lies before being caught outI eventually got what I was sold installed after far too much resistance During the entire installation there was zero communication as to when people were showing up or leaving, at one point our garage was left open for hours because the contractor didn't tell us they had left At the end of it all, by first SRP bill is 1/3rd over what it should be because they installed the demand manager wrong, and doesn't know how much electricity is being demandedAnother visit is scheduled to correct this (who knows when) Go elsewhere with your money!

The nature of this complaint derives from significant financial damages arising from gross negligence and incompetence. The solar system was installed on 12/5/2016 and was commissioned on 12/21/2016. The system produced solar power as expected until 2/9/2017 as shown from the included monitoring system charts. From 2/10/2017 until 4/30/2017 the system went down and didn’t collect any solar power. A technician came out in late April pulled a bunch of new wires to the roof for the system but was unable to restore power to the system. He told me that an entire crew would be needed to come out and fix the wires used in the original installation. The crew arrived on 5/1/2017 and they were able to restore power to the system right about lunchtime. They told me that the technician that came out earlier didn’t know what he was doing and that the problem was with the Solar Edge inverter. My experience with Sun Valley Solar was good They guided me through every step of the way, and answered all my questions very quickly and thoroughlyI had reviewed two other companies before I had chosen Sun Valley Solar, and felt they were my best choice

I apologize that you had to file a complaint to get this issue resolved. The internet connectivity issue appears to be coming from line noise due to the variable speed pool pump. When we logged into the system last time it was working however it's not working now. We are in
the process of fundamentally fixing the root cause so the internet connectivity will not be an issue in the future. You should have received a call back from us if we thought it was fixed or not. The employees here at Sun Valley Solar Solutions have been coached on this subject. We truly do care about all our customers and again I apologize that you had to file a complaint in the first place to get this issue resolved. Although solar technology has been around for awhile - quality companies with integrity, experience and large scope of knowledge are hard to come by - until you meet with Sun Valley Solar! They work with APS and SRP - very professional yet friendly reps who work with what your long term goals are - not just to sell you on the largest systemThey have a variety of programs and are just overall an absolute pleasure to deal with - Cole in particular is fantastic! Wouldnt recommend any other company!

Sun Valley Solar Solutions took care of every little detailFrom the sales department to the technicians performing the install top notch work was performedThe site evaluation was informative and when it was done I felt strongly I had picked the rite company for the job Permits was a breeze they took care of all the paper workI signed a few docs online and then was able to keep track of the progress with the emails and phone calls from the installer, Then when time to turn my system on they performed a very comprehensive walkthrough of the system and all it operationsSafety protocol was followed from start to finish The best part I am making power, great warranty with an established company that will be in business for many years to come

As of 5/everything on the system is working 100%. From monitoring data the customer is correct that they system went down on 2/10. We were first notified on 4/and had a tech onsite 4/28. The tech wasn't able to fix it 4/because he didn't have the parts so we sent
another tech on 5/that is more experienced on these inverters. The tech thought he fixed the original issue and we had to push new firmware onto the system. On 5/this remote firmware push failed and put the system back down. On 5/we went back onsite to manually push the firmware and noticed the system still had an issue and got half the system back up and running while we came up with a new game plan. On 5/we were back onsite and found a pinched wire along with a bad optimizer which requires a warranty claim by the manufacture. On 5/we installed the new part and everything is up and running 100%. This one was a puzzle to solve and it took us longer to solve than we would have liked as well. We compensate all our customers for any loss production in the first two years and we are going to compensate this customer for 3,Kwh which is what we calculated (a little more than what's stated in the complaint). We will make sure his warranty period starts on 5/as well. We really care about all our customers and we are sorry this one took a while to figure out. Russ P*** CEO

I selected Sun Valley after looking at two other companies including the national leader I was 100% satisfied with the choice The sales rep was highly knowledgeable, offered no pressure and provided good technical information which I was looking for I was treated as a knowledgeable buyer The installation was done professionally and delivered on time as promised This is a top notch company!

My inverter went out August It's been three months and they keep giving me the run aroundThey told me corporate sent the wrong part and they had to send it backNow it seems they're fussing back and forth with corperate to get the right part and can't give me a time for repair

Our Glendale, AZ solar system has been running for weeks We couldn't be happier! We did lots of research and narrowed our choices down to companies Sun Valley wasn't the cheapest quote But, they were the most knowledgeable and professional They also use the highest quality components
Kelly O'***, our sales representative, really knew her stuff She promptly and patiently answered all of our MANY questions Kelly was never high pressure and offered solid advice and came up with multiple recommendations to help us settle on the best system for our situation
After selecting Sun Valley, we were transitioned to Kaleina, our Project Manager She kept everything moving forward and made certain we understood the entire process and time frame There are lots of steps...planning, utility company registration, HOA approval, installation, inspections, commissioning, etc I have to admit, everything was pleasantly easy and ahead of schedule
We had the hardest working, most polite, and NEAT installation team Jose, Mariano, Gus, and Josh were cheerful and NEVER had a negative word about the awful heat or my BIG day installation They all believe in solar and are very happy they work for Sun Valley All of them are happy, long term, dedicated employees
My daughter lives in the house and LOVED her first electric bill that had the entire cycle on solar! We wish Sun Valley worked in Southern California, so we could have our house done by them
