The customer currently has a leased solar system from SunPower Corp in which a contract exists between the customer and SunPower Corp.  SunPower Lease systems are structured in such a way that legally prohibits installation companies from adjusting, modifying or changing any element of the...

system without the initial approval from SunPower to do so.  Additionally, leased systems have a production guarantee in which the customer will be compensated for any production below the minimum annual production guarantee. In this particular case, while we completely empathize with the customer, Sun Valley Solar Solutions is very restricted in the manner of which we could resolve the issue without violating the lease terms of this system. Initially, SunPower had sent the wrong parts to repair this system – which further delayed the timeline of resolution. Since the process of repairing the system is per SunPower’s lease requirements, the extent of what  Sun Valley Solar Solutions could do in this matter (without violating the lease terms) was to actively communicate with SunPower in hopes to expedite the resolution. Ultimately, the delay in getting the system back up and running is not at the hands of Sun Valley Solar Solutions. High level, this complaint needs to be addressed to SunPower Corp who has a legal contract with the customer.  Sun Valley Solar Solutions will continue to stay proactive on this case in which right now the correct parts are in route from SunPower Corp to Sun Valley Solar Solutions.  Once they arrive, they will be installed within 2 business days to ensure the system is back up and running the way it should be.  Please have the customer withdraw this complaint and create a new one with whom they have a contract.

Sun Valley Solar Solutions installed our solar system in 2010. The installation process was very professional. Over the years there have been two issues that needed to be addressed. Sun Valley was very responsive and responded and resolved the issues within days. Their staff members responded to my issues immediately by both email, telephone and subsequently a visit by a service representative. Great company. Many of our friends had other companies install their solar system and the difference in the installation process was obvious. The Sun Valley installation was far superior.

I apologize that you had to file a complaint to get this issue resolved.  The internet connectivity issue appears to be coming from line noise due to the variable speed pool pump.  When we logged into the system last time it was working however it's not working now.  We are...

Our solar panels were installed at the end of July. As of today, September 22, the system is still not up and running. They scheduled an appointment for this week and did not show up. The inspector also came over that day. We found out from him that Sun Valley wasn't going to be here. The inspector knew but Sun Valley didn't bother to let us know. We then contacted them and it sounds like it is going to be another couple of weeks. This wasn't the first time they said they would be over and didn't show up.

Interviewed four solar companies, chose Sun Valley Solar Solutions and have never been sorry. Top notch products and absolute Gold Standard for customer service. System is nearly two years old and never have had any problems or issues. Sun Valley Solutions has been great with every question I have ever had, ( even two years after install). I am verified satisfied by the installation of my solar PV system by SVSS. I was impressed by how they listened to what I wanted, worked with me to find the right solution/price/financing. I was also impressed by their efficiency of installation, I didn't believe it could be done in 2 days. I found that any time I had a concern, they were already aware of the situation and already had planned to address it before I even mentioned it. Sun Valley Solar Solutions is an amazing Arizona Solar Systems installer who installed two systems on our home in Gilbert, Arizona. Our first system was installed in 2010 with the second coming in 2012. We now have a net zero utility bill thanks to SVSS. My experience with Sun Valley Solar Solutions, LLC was all positive. The information that they provided during the decision phase has proven to be very truthful and amazing accurate. All of their employees demonstrate both professional expertise and keen customer service skills. I greatly value their engineering methodologies. I also remain impressed by the quality of the equipment and installation. The continuing services provided to in the form of the online monitoring never disappoints. I would, and do, recommend SVSS without reservation or hesitation. It was one of the best big ticket purchase experiences for me.

After spending countless hours researching different solar firms, speaking to sales people, trying to differentiate between a purchase and a lease, this panel and that panel, this inverter and that inverter, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Sun Valley Solar Solutions. This was the only company I spoke to who didn't try to sell me anything...they just listened to my questions and gave me well-thought out, easy to understand answers. When [redacted] came to our house to evaluate our needs and propose a system layout, he wasn't low pressure. He was NO pressure, which we really appreciated. He even told us that if it didn't make sense to install solar in our situation, they wouldn't sell us a system. Plain and simple.
Well it turns out solar was right for us because I haven't had an electric bill over $30 since installing our system and we're currently offsetting about 95% of our electricity usage with solar. The installation was flawless, timely, and well communicated. The installers were very professional and the entire system looks fantastic. They even painted the conduit to match the house so you can't even see it! Our system went on-line earlier than expected and we started reaping the benefits immediately. Our house is entirely electric, so the solar saves us a ton every month.
I would recommend Sun Valley Solar Solutions without hesitation. In fact, I have already done so to one of my neighbors and their system is going to be installed this spring.
