Window World - I cannot describe how dis-satisfied I am with this companyOn July 9th of we purchased replacement sliding glass doors, with the written declaration that it would take between and weeks for the doors to be custom made and installedIt is now Dec 3rdand scheduled installation cancellations ( all by them ) and we still do not have the doors that we have paid for, installed Today was supposes to be the day The called to confirm on Saturday, and twice today We were supposed to be the first on the list today Then they called and said that they were running late and the new time was between and And then the Project Manager called and PROMISED the doors were to be installed today We have prepared the rooms and deck by moving the furniture times I have now taken time off work to make this happen, and I have come up on the wrong end again I am now over it I am reaching out to you, so that you will be aware of this company and my experience They promise a life-time warranty Remember, this is not your lifetime, this is the life-time of their company, which I do not see being around that much longer, if this is how they treat their customers Caveat emptor! - Let the buyer beware!

Have been trying to get my front window installed for at least one or two years from the time I signed the contract The company keeps delaying my installation of the correct window time and time again by the installation crew This time the installation crew was suppose to be here between and pm but the installer called and finally said they couldn't come because of the over run of the prior job This is the fourth or fifth time they have delayed because of installation problems I have not received a call from [redacted] , who I requested a call from, who is the installation manager This is not the first time I have requested such a call, to see if they are going to reschedule or just tell me to forget it Thanks, [redacted] ***

We recently had most all of the windows in our home replaced through Window WorldWe miscounted and have tried calling them to get more windows ordered and cannot get anyone to call us backAlso, the installers knocked a shelf off of our son's wall and broke several things on there, including a custom coke bottleThey didn't say a word, left shattered glass all over our year's bedroom floor with sticky coke dripping down the wall, a chair and several other thingsWe called to complain, were referred to the sales manager, which has not responded to any of our attempts to get this resolvedStill need more windows and can't even get anyone to call us back and make a saleNot happy with their customer service AT ALL!

Employee spilled caulk on carpet, never removed it, caulk hardened, damaging carpet in my guest bedroom
new windows were installed, over $spent in December Employee left caulk in carpet in a guest room Management sent someone with a chemical to work out the caulk That person used a metal scraper to tease out the caulk which left bald spots in my carpet Company refuses to correct the damage though I have contacted customer service several times

Just had windows installedIt was about an week wait from the time we ordered them when the quy came to give us the quoteWe just got them so we won't know if we have any problems with the windows themselves but they look great and seem to be very good qualityI would recommend themThey gave us the best price out of other companiesThere is a lifetime warrantyWhich makes me feel good about going with them

I just had the windows installed, this review is for installation, new quality and price At the moment we are very pleased with the new Vinyl windows, they look very nice, have clean lines, and nice exterior trim I was impressed with the fit and finish The installers did very good workWe chose the series DH All-Weld window frame with Solar Zone Elite glass Each window had the Colonial Grids and the Custom Exterior Trim 1/screens are included in price and come with each window Full screens (we had one) are ordered and are additional cost, but very affordable Each window is measured and made to fit your home and comes with a unique ID number The feel and function of each window is excellent, they tilt in for cleaning and can be easily removed from inside the home if need be My wife loves these windows I don't have data to back this up but, these windows would have to contribute to a more efficient home, the old windows were drafty and these are not, they are foam insulated and caulked all the way around with dual pane solar glass For a vinyl product window they are very nice and come with a life time warranty on the glass and frames, so down the road when they're not new, I still have support and that's where the ID number comes into play Price was important to me, I researched replacement window prices (a lot) Window World IMO had the highest quality at the best price, they hit right in the middle of online pricing estimates for the low and high installation costs, even with the options listed above After having these windows installed I'm happy I did not choose wood or aluminum CONs: 1/the quote cost up front, long wait before installation PROs: Once the windows are installed the customer service is excellent I hope this is helpful

I used Window World for windows and a new front doorThe sales person was friendly and helped answer my questions even after the sale was completeInstallation was great - the installers cleaned up and left no trace behindWhen I had a concern, the representative I spoke to responded professionally and took my concern seriouslyShe reached out to me and the issue was resolved quickly

Our initial experience in with Window World Atlanta was terrible! We had issues with their sales tactics, delays, the installation and crew, damage done to our beautiful floors during installation - you name it, they failed repeatedly
Then, this February, we needed our upstairs windows replaced (our house was built in and of the windows were original...) Rather than changing vendors (and product), we called the same-as-before sales manager to get assurances that we'd get what we needed without all the drama and failuresCertainly, we entered into the process with eyes-wide-open, thinking that we could rely on "the boss" to guide the folks there to do better this time
Well, nothing could be further from the truthThe sales person was pathetically inept, and through his mistakes and lack of communication, delayed the job repeatedly once the deposit was made
Additionally, the company's internal communication broke down several times between the Atlanta office, the sales staff, the engineering team and the manufacturer, further delaying our little 4- window order (one that multiple people at Window World said should take no more than 90-minutes to complete the install)
Meanwhile, you know they have our 50% deposit and it seemed to take forever to get any word or result from my repeated inquiries
Finally, almost weeks after making the order, (and not without having to RESCHEDULE because of an installer no-show,) our windows were installed
BUT, that's not the end of our troublesSince I had to work on the "rescheduled" install day (which was initially set up for a Saturday, so I could be homebut, hey, no-show) I was shocked at what I found when I got home from work
Besides being several hours late for the install-time "window" that was "rescheduled", the install crew left their trash in the area of the install, and after using our water hose, left it uncoiled and stretched down our driveway, blocking my wife out of the drivewayAlso, in the driveway and in the grass of the yard on both sides of the driveway, they had broken a container of spray foam AND LEFT IT THERE! (Pics included below.) My wife asked the installers about it before they left, and they said they had another job to go to - then they left
These people have no business being in business! They have no control over their employees or their install crews AND do not care about the homeowner or their property
The sales manager's remark to me about this latest set of failures? "What can I say, I'm embarrassed." Really?

Window world installed these windows over a year agoThe installers came out one day after they missed several appointmentsThey worked all day and did not finish during daylight hours, they kept working when it was dark and I ask them to stop and come back the next day to finishSome of the windows do not fit,they damaged some of vinyl around the windows, they cracked my wood molding on the inside of the house around the windows and knocked over a stereo speaker and broke itAt different times after that they would call about coming out to try to match the wood trim they brokemany times they did not show up when they did they took a piece of the trim with them to try to match up which was never matched correctlyOne of the managers which I will not say his name at this time came out to inspect the work and he has a very strong smell of liquor on his breath and actions were a little slow which made my wife feel very uncomfortableThere is a lot more to this repair problem which

I ordered EnergyStar windows in Nov The windows were installed in Dec Installation was faulty and the installer try to destroy the frame Installed windows without j-channel on vinyl siding that resulted in water leakage In January, March, and even today, windows are fogging from outside I contacted WindowWorld but they are refusing to rectify situation They came out once and replaced one of the stashes and same results I have sent them photos

I purchased and paid, IN FULL, for windows on June 23, The first install was on 8/22/The WRONG windows were installedThe alleged replacement for this error was to be installed 10/23/The installer caught the fact that one of the windows was defective and halted the installation in order to reorder the replacementThe rest of the windows are sitting on the floor in my garageThe next installation date was scheduled for 11/13/No one called, no one came and NO WINDOWS were installedThis has been going on for 5/1-monthsMonths have passed between any communication or attempt to rectify this issueThe original installer became indignant when I Would not pay any more moneyThey/he refused to cover their feet to protect my new floors but didn't hesitate to take the plastic sheets, I bought, with themIt's almost Thanksgiving and my house looks unfinished
