Review: I bought a Sundance Car Wash Package last 5/18/2014 worth $299.90 for 13 car washes. I went to this Business again today ( 6/1/2015 at 4pm) to get my 5th car wash , and the cashier told me that they don't accept my card (car wash package) anymore, because the business has new owner already for more than a year. I called the manager and he told me the same reason. I was there last 4/20/15 for my 4th wash, and they accepted my card( car wash package) and nobody told me, that they will not accept it any more, even my receipt stated that I have 9 more car washes. I bought this card to save money, now I ended up loosing money. The card has no expiration.Desired Settlement: I think there a lot more people affected by this. I want this business to acknowledge the card or gave the consumers refund.

Dear Revdex.com, Since May 31, 2014, we have published the change in ownership of Sundance Carwash and Express Lube in the local newspaper, the [redacted] and noted prominently in our office that we will not be accepting any prepaid multiple wash cards and gift cards issued by the previous owner after one year beyond the issue date. Given that Ms. [redacted]'s card was still valid on her visit on 4/20/15, we honored her multiple wash card. Nevertheless, after 5/18/2015, any remaining value on her card would not be valid. Additionally, we have no history of the specific date from when this card was issued (due to the change in ownership) but used the date provided by Ms. [redacted]. As we have made Ms. [redacted] and all of our other customers aware of the change in ownership and subsequent policy on multiple wash cards and gift cards purchased from the previous owner, we do not believe that Ms. [redacted]'s complaint is valid. I am rejecting this response because:I think that is a lame excuse of a business to take responsibility. When I bought the pre-car wash card ( see attachment) , there is no where in the card that it will expire for a year and if the business change ownership, it is void for a year. The card only says "NON REFUNDABLE". I think this is a ripped - off, where is my $200+ money? So I am being punished by not reading the [redacted]? I think Consumer Services Bureau should look on this practice and uphold the rights of the consumers.
