Buyer beware No help from Customer service
Buyer beware! My Sunoco gift cards are not working. Aug 3, 2021The gas pump says unknown id $P. I contacted customer service through the website for help and was told they are too old (2 years) and they could not verify balance. I know the cards are good because when I go to Sunoco's website and type in the numbers to check the balance they come up correct. They also have no expiration date and are only two years old. Covid caused us to use less gas than anticipated. We have purchased almost 30 $100 cards over the last 4 years and if there is nothing to be done they will be our last. I also called and was told someone would contact me in 48 hours. That was 4 days ago. I guess that means I am out of $251 worth of gas. Shameful way to treat customers

We received a call at 7:am which I took I am the President and Founder of Astrodon for years and handle all customer problems Over the past decade there are thousands of these products in use with repeat customers We have been using the same threaded cells for years We use the same industry threads that are common throughout the market, but occasionally there are tolerance issues where most threaded cells work fine and a few do not This could be a problem with our threads, but they are made reproducibly on CNC machines, or they can be due to tight tolerancing, too much anodizing, etcin the many filter wheels made by many U.Sand international manufacturers that are supposed to accept our products and those of our competitorsMy suspicion is that this is a tolerancing problemWe know that our filter cells thread in properly to SBIG and QSI (both large companies in the market here) filter wheels made here in the U.S., for example, and we use the thread specficiation that they provided years ago The individual indicated that he purchased our 1.25" threaded filters from our Oklahoma distributor His first call should be to the distributor, but, of course we will accept any customer issue directly, even at 7:amHe was quite agitated at the onset of the phone call, and accused us of having a defective product I tried to explain that this happens every so often due to tolerancing issues described above, but he became more irate and just wanted to blame us, accusing us of "passing the buck" I offered to send him out at no cost to him a couple of empty filter cells to see if they screwed into the one position in question, but he refused As a result, I was about to suggest to him to send the one filter/cell in question back to us (his cost) and we will remount it here (our cost) and send it back to him (our cost), but at that point, he was screaming, and not letting me talk, so I had no choice and just hung upThat is the first time since I founded the company that I ever hung up on a customer Most people want to find a solutionIt is in their interest to do so And, most ongoing businesses are willing to bend over backwards to resolve problems, even if they are not the root causeOur reputations are on the line, too His screaming did not allow us to get to that point Our replacement does not guarantee a solution We are not responsible for the threading in one position of some third party vendor's filter wheelNevertheless, we are willing to tryIf he accepts this offer, please pass on to ship the filter via UPS ground (no signature required) to our address listed below with attention to me, DrDon Goldman, President, and I will personally expedite the process and ship the filter back the same day or no later than hours to the address he provides in the shipmentBest Regards, [redacted] [redacted] (commercial site)

After reviewing the Manhawkin CDJR service file for Mr ***'s Jeep Cherokee, I do not find any instance where his vehicle was towed to our dealership's service departmentAll of his service visits were completed while he waited or within hours ofdropping off his vehicleThere are no complaints of the vehicle operating improperly or noted complaints of safety concernsHis service visits consisted of routine maintenance and if any recalls were due they were completed at that time

This excavating company also sells used snowmobiles on the side from there business/parking lot..he has multiple/many sleds for sale from his business The owner is Mike [redacted] He sold me a snowmobile for $which I paid cash forWhen I paid for it, he did not have the registration handy so he said he would text me later in the day and then I could pick it up laterHe never texted me and since then, I was advised he would make the registration available to me on separate occasionI showed up all three times at his place of business and he still did not have the registrationI bought and paid for the sled on 12/2/and since that time have received nothing but a hard time, disparaging texts and no registrationThis snowmobile is worthless to me without the registration and as a business owner selling snowmobiles on the side, from his office/parking lot for his excavating company is totally unacceptable

I'm going to keep this shorter than I normally intendedThe main stSunoco is an awful place of businessWhether it's the repeated act of "accidentally" overcharging me for items (days ago, a sale was rang up as I almost didn't even notice) or just the lack of general customer service they providethis place needs a lesson in being part of the community and treating them with respectThey have signs plastered all over their store saying they "NOW ACCEPT EBT", which at first I thought would be an improvement over the old management's policiesBoy was I wrongAs anybody who is familiar with EBT or Electronic Benefit Transfer knows, it handles state funded benefits through use of that specific card they assignAlso, they know that there is sides of "currency" on the cardA "food stamp" side where you can purchase groceries, and a 'cash' side that can be treated as such (unless you want to purchase certain products like tobacco, in which case you would have to withdrawal the money from your EBT card first)Anywho, time and time again I would go into this store to use the "cash" side of my EBT card only to be met with confused and annoyed glances and responses"This card is only for groceries" "We can't give you cash from this card" are common responses, but keep in mind I never asked for cash back I just wanted to use the cash SIDE of my card which I must have tried to explain a dozen times to themThey refuse to even acknowledge that my card could have a cash side to it and not only that, but get annoyed with me any time I would attempt to use and/or explain the cash part of the EBT card to themSo in conclusion this is a very poorly run store with abysmal customer serviceBetween being overcharged constantly and being berated for trying to use my own state benefits, I will never go there againAnybody who needs gas in the area should just drive the extra mile up Rtand go to T [redacted] H [redacted] For groceries go to I [redacted] Don't give these lazy, mean people your money

Please refer back to our original responseAll of Mr ***'s service visits to our service department were for regular maintenance only or for regular maintenance along with a manufacturer's recall was was completed most times while he waited for the vehicleAgain, we have no record of Mr [redacted] saying he had a performance or safety issue with his vehicle

Ms [redacted] brought her vehicle to our dealership to have an oil change performed and she had a concern of the air conditioning taking too ong to get coldShe was advised there would be a charge to diagnose the a/c systemShe declined to have any diagnosis or repairs performed on the system at that timeShe paid $for the oil change serviceThere were no charges for the air conditioning and we did not perform any diagnostic or repairs towards her air conditioning concernsI left a phone message with Ms [redacted] on the following Monday or Tuesday to call me, call was never returnedWhatever caused her condensor to leak was not a result of an oil change performed at our shop

I bought a phone charger that costed approximately $6, I walked outside and as soon as I plugged the port into my phone (it had only been seconds) the metal connector was so fragile and cheaply made it broke and did not workIt actually broke at the connector which inserts into my phone (which could have costed me an easy $for replacement or repair had the connector got stuck) Had the product for a total of one minute (in real time)Went inside asking for an exchange because I was desperate for a charger, they told me they would only sell me another product and had no concern that they are purposely selling cheap items that do not even work

This complaint was assigned ID ***, and we gave a job to NJ limo to do the ride on 5/for the agreed price of $That night we were advised by the leader of the group that he will continue with the bus company we hired to do the job on the next day and *** from the other Limo company
agreed to take over the group on their own Then we found out that our credit cards have being charged for $and for $on two different credit cards, then we find out from the group leader that he said that he paid directly for the transportation on 5/directly to the bus company and since NJ Limo was charging our card on different amounts it looks suspicions and we disputed the chargesThen Ann from NJ Limo send us a contract on October by email stating that we agreed to the price of $which we didntThey waited months to contact us, very strange on their part.Then they tried to harassed our office calling and cursing on the phone, I dont know what happen between our customer and them, maybe they tried to overcharged them too and they dispute the charges and now they decided to come after us, when they are the ones that decided to take the customer on their own.Then they called a tv station trying to put our name bad and they even present to them documentation with presents a signature that we never signed, after that we emailed the representative *** from TV station with the email that they send to us in October which shows a reservation with no signature and I said to *** how they could emailed you something different to you with a signature that doesnt belong to us, after that since we advise them that thats againts the law and they presented documentation to other parties they didnt come back to us And I would like to know another thing why they waited until October , months later to come with all this claims, they know they got paid from client, and who knows if they were trying to charge the client more You should ask NJ Limo why they were trying to charge $from my card from the beginning, they were dealing directly with the group on the 14th and later , I would like to know what happen between them And why *** didnt call me before or try to contact me before, only months later , why?

I take great offence to the implocation that this company made. and 2) there was in no way a "shakedown". The alligations that Sunoco has made are completely false! I spoke to the owner of this particular site on several occasions after this incident and other than have someone come out to look at the nosle there was no other action taken at all. At no time was the site closed down for any kind of clean up at all!!! At no time was there any danger to any one other than my year old son because the only place that the gas went was on him...at no time did it even hit the ground! As soon as it happened I went into the building and reported it...and I will have you know that all day long they never stopped anyone from using the pump after until I was checked! So, if anyone put customers at risk it was the owners of this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Since my comlaint I have gotten everyone I know to stop using them, I have reported them to the burrow and made a complaint of negligence, and I have not been back! AND, I have gone out and rebought the christmas close that were ruined because of the shabby neglect that Sunoco, the company and the people that own this particular site have chosen to accept as ok. This company should be ashamed of them selve for blaming the paying community for neglect or care of their equipment
