If I could do this all again, I WOULD NOT USE SUNRISE POOLS AND SPAS. The customer service is SUBSTANDARD and they make excuses regarding scheduling.
I'm writing this review to provide potential customers with my experience with Sunrise Premiere Pool Builders, Sunrise Pools and Spas. On May 6, 2020, Sunrise Pools started the process of building my pool. Everything appeared to be on track for a July 4th completion until, things went into a complete STOP. From May 27, 2020 to June 11, 2020, no work was done; and the weather was not a factor (beautiful).
The next visit to my home was June 12; during this visit the tiling and corking was completed. During this process they removed one of the corners from the outer area of the pool, which I informed them of via telephone and email, with pictures. The corners are all squared off, except a particular corner, which was rounded. Additionally, one of the corners was cut noticeably shorter than the other; to date this issue has not been resolved.
Sunrise returned on July 6, 2020 to start the concrete and grading around the pool, which has not been completed as of July 14, 2020. They removed all the dirt from my property without leaving any to level off my property. Additionally, my lawn from where Sunrise drove and hauled dirt is destroyed and they just informed me today (7/14/2020), that they are not responsible for laying sod or grass seed; I must pay out of pocket for having my yard destroyed. I was not notified of this issue. Furthermore, I had to remove my steps and was not notified by Sunrise.
To date my pool has not completed; and Sunrise is unable to provide me with a date of completion.
Furthermore I was informed by Sunrise, on the date of excavation, the pool would completed within eight weeks; and if the weather permitted it would be completed sooner. I have not been able to have my fence installed due to the delay in Sunrise leveling the yard. They have received all payments upon request, as agreed in the initial contract and consultation. I am completely dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and inefficient responses to customer concerns and complaints.
The resolution that would satisfy me at this time are as follows: (1) Fix the rounded corner on the outer portion of the pool; (2) Level off the yard as well as replace with sod the grass that was destroyed by dump trucks, bobcats; (3) Complete the pool so that I may enjoy the remainder of my summer on my pool.
We are sorry that Mr. is not happy with the services we have provided. We work very hard to keep things on schedule while working with multiple sub-contractors and multiple cases of COVID-19.
I have enclosed a copy of Mr. contract and pool drawing. Please note that a July 4th completion date was never promised. The pool was shot with concrete on 5/26/20 and must be watered down for 7 days and cured for 10 days before the Tile and Coping may be applied. This is a free form pool with multiple radiuses. The coping that Mr. picked out is irregular shaped Tumble Blue Flagstone, with the pool shape and coping there will be no uniform design of coping. Please note that on the front of our contract it clearly states we are not responsible for access areas over which equipment travels. We provide a rough grade to areas of which concrete decking will be laid. Customer must hire a landscaper to grade, seed, or sod. Customer did not have to cut any steps. This was the customer's choice. We are not able by law to plaster and put water in a pool that is not protected by a fence. As of this date, Mr. does not have his fence up. Once his fence is up, we will put him on the schedule to plaster.
