Clients wife, ***,, after about 90% completion of a $160k remodel, unknown to us, was sleeping with one of our subcontractors/laborers. Her husband,, found out about the affair and fired us, Sunset pools. Again, we were 90% done with job when we were fired because of the affair between Client and the sub. After three months of being off the job, husband, hired us back and we walked job and agreed we had 18 things to finish. I had a different crew start work to finish and they walked off job after one day. They said it was a toxic environment. Husband very mad and unhappy about everything. I put another crew on the job and they walked off the job after one day….said the same thing. Husband not happy with anything. After some time we agreed that only the crew that we hired in first place would fix the last 18 things. The clients went on vacation for 7 days, our crew finished 16 of the 18 and I told clients after last two items to finish they need to pay us final. $7,000.00 Client told us they were not paying and wanted money back because it took so long to finish. We walked off job for non payment. Because of the affair, It was a disaster.....
