We ask Miss [redacted] to bring us the old part with the receipt
because we need to file a warranty claim for that defective part but she
refused to do so.
We got power steering pump from [redacted], for some
reason that it’s out of our hands pump was not working properly, part was
warranty (entire pump) by [redacted]. We did replace 3 pumps from [redacted] but
unfortunately power steering pump still had problems. Three power steering
pumps have been replacing but still noise. We talked to [redacted] sales
representative and they want to send all 3 defective pumps back to factory to
investigate.
Now,
Miss [redacted] went to other garage to fix the pump on her car. But she or the shop
never calls us to let us or [redacted] know before any repair or replacement.No call from Miss [redacted] to let us know what the
other shop wants to do, no part evidences or defective part report or inspect
by Super 6 Tokyo.
On
original invoice we charge her $150.00 on labor. By Alldata program labor
(attached) is 1.8 hours. In order to honor warranty:1.
We need to get defective part back to send it to [redacted]
2.
We will honor to refund $150.00 which is the amount that any shop will charge
if power steering pump gets replace.
3.
Now the other shop overhaul power steering pump without [redacted] or Super 6 Tokyo permission
which is against any warranty.
Power
steering pump must be replace by entire pump, cannot open or tear down to
overhaul. [redacted] or any other car parts provider will void warranty if part is
overhaul.
Miss [redacted] is a very good customer, from the beginning
of this issue we were happy to refund her $150.00 labor which is the amount
that we charge her to replace entire pump and which is based on Alldata.
With my ASE
certificate master degree; I never see this happen before with my experience of
22 years. So I did all my best to take care of her but by [redacted] to honor
warranty part needs to be original and not a rebuild part.

Ms [redacted] says it was replaced, ok.  We are requesting a copy of [redacted] invoice and
also [redacted] hour labor rate because it takes 1.8 hour to replace the pump and
any Dealership will charge $110.00 per hour so why did the other shop charge to
much to just replace it then? The invoice that she provided it also has a diagnose for lighting
system problems that was done on that day, so we have to pay for that too?

[redacted] ON NOV 16 2016 IN EMAIL COMPLAINT ID [redacted]. WE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE YOU MORE DETAIL SO YOU CAN UNDERSTAND VERY CLEARLY ON BOTH SIDES BETWEEN THE CUSTOMER AND OUR SHOP.      ON NOVEMBER 11 2016 CUSTOMER CAME TO OUR SHOP IN A 2001 FORD EXPLORER SAYING SHE HAS A COOLANT LEAK BAD ON THE FRONT AND COOLANT IS ALMOST EMPTY IN THE RADIATOR, AND THE VEHICLE IS NOT RUNNING GOOD.  AFTER WE REMOVE THE INTAKE PLENUM GASKET AND REPLACE NEW THERMOSTAT HOUSING ASSEMBLY, NEW COOLANT ,NEW INTAKE PLENUM GASKETS.VEHICLE RUNS BETTER AND NO COOLANT IS LEAKING , ALSO WE RECHECK OVER AND WE FIND OUT THERE IS SOME ELECTRICAL PROBLEM INSIDE THE DASH AREA, AND IS A GOOD REASON WHY THE VEHICLES HEATER IS NOT WORKING . WE REQUEST TO THE CUSTOMER TO PAY, AND CONTINUE TO THE NEXT STEP TO REMOVE THE DASH OUT TO CHECK THE HEATER PROBLEM, BUT CUSTOMER SAID SHE WOULD LIKE TO WAIT.   DURING THE TIME WE WERE WORKING ON CUSTOMER VEHICLE WE PROVIDED THE CUSTOMER WITH OUR COMPANY VEHICLE TO BORROW FOR 2 DAYS WITH NO COST.    ON NOVEMBER 14 2016 CUSTOMER CAME BACK, AND CONTINUED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HEATER NOT WORKING AND ALSO FRONT VEHICLE IS LEAKING FLUIDS. WE EXPLAIN TO CUSTOMER ABOUT THE ELECTRICAL PROBLEM INSIDE THE DASH BUT WANTED TO WAIT A FEW DAYS AGO.  ALSO WE SHOWED CUSTOMER THE POWER STEERING FLUIDS ARE LEAKING BUT ALSO MENTIONED TO CUSTOMER THAT THE COOLANT WE FIXED BEFORE IS CLEAN, AND NO LEAKING .  DEAR SIR MADAM,WITH THE VEHICLE IS 15 YEARS OLD AND 140,000 MILES SOMETHINGS ARE GOING TO BREAK AND LEAK, AND ON SOME VEHICLES THERE IS CONSISTENT SERVICE AND ALL WE CAN DO IS WHAT THE CUSTOMER AGREES TO GET DONE AT THE TIME .   OUR SHOP HAS OVER 3,000 CUSTOMERS, WERE ALWAYS WORKING HARD, HONOR , FRIENDLY , FAST, AND FAIR.                                TRULY IN LOVE WITH JESUS                                          SUPER 6 TOKYO AUTO SERVICE INC.                                           QUAN, BINH, CANH, HANH...N[redacted]CUSTOMER RECEIPT ATTACHED...
