I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I believe that something should be done by the company.  There was no yelling involved.  We just want something to be done to help make this right.  Working with the public we go by the motto "the customer is always right". The way they are handling this is no way to do business.  We are out the money we gave them for 2 unacceptable rooms and then had to leave and spend another $100 for a decent room at another hotel!  Full refund, partial refund..Anything except another room we will gladly take.. But we will NEVER stay with this chain again!

This company lies and steals your money!!! Do not ever stay here! I made a reservation by calling the 1-800 number because it specifically said if you're checking in after 6pm to call and reserve that way. I was quoted $28 per night and after tax was $34.44 for one king size non smoking. I get to the desk and am not even told the total or asked any questions to confirm my stay. He charged my card $51.28 and then points to a sign taped down that says no refunds for any reason. Told me if I had a problem call and talk to whoever made the reservation but he wasn't refunding the difference and wasn't changing anything. Told me I was stupid to not have booked online when it said $28 and told him that's exactly what I did. He wouldn't tell me when the general manager would be in and wouldn't call him to explain the situation and see if he could do anything about it. They lie about their rates and steal your money then turn around and say no refunds for any reason at all.

Review: whilee taking shower in thee morning of the Apr 23 2015 noticed black stuff in the tub around my feet at first I thought it was coming out of the shower head ,then I saw when the water splashed onto and ran down the wall mold was coming out of the joint of the wall unit and the tub. Looking further I saw heavy Black Mold all the way around the joint ,both end panels and the side wall .I got out of the shower and went to the front desk and told the clerk she said she could't leave the desk to come and see but would let the manager know to call me. The manager called with an attitude she said three people looked and nobody saw anything and they don't know what I am talking about and She would not Refund my Money I said for her to opn heer eyes when she looked,and if there is nothing there, you then you [redacted] already cleaned it up to cover it up.I told her I had pictures of it on my phone which I do. Review: Overcharged for rooms.

I reserved 10 rooms. Then later canceled 5. I have 5 cancellation emails with confirmations.

The other 5 where used and paid for. I paid for 2 and 3 were paid for by others but reserved on my card.

I was charged for 7 rooms the 2 I used and the other 5 I canceled.Desired Settlement: credit 5 rooms that I canceled to my card.

Review: First, Apparently this hotel is doing business as a super 8 Hotel. When I contacted that corporate office I was informed it was not a super 8 hotel anymore. The phone number listed in the automated contact information is also in correct. The number to the hotel is [redacted]. I was double charged for a stay at this hotel. I tried to be reimbursed for the mistake I was given a run around and now the contact person ( SueAnn) wont take my calls.Desired Settlement: To be reimbursed, or check issued to me for one of the withdraws taken from my account

Review: On Saturday 5/28/2016 I used an online booking agency to book two hotel rooms. I booked the wrong hotel and within an hour and a half I called back to cancel once I received and viewed my itinerary. I contacted the hotel and the individual on duty told me I had to contact the online booking agency and cancel through them. I contacted the agency and cancelled my reservation and I was told to call back onTuesday 5/31/2016 because Monday was a holiday and a refund could not be issued until then. The agency and I both tried contacting the hotel on Tuesday with no response. The hotel charged me a total of $209 and I did not even stay and I was told the funds would be refunded.

Everyone knows that when you book your room with an online travel agent then you should contact them. Because they are the ones who charged your CC. We did not charge your CC because they are ones who give us their "Virtue" CC so we were not to charge your CC twice or overcharge. Since the online travel agent had booked your room they are responsible for their mistake. The online travel agent who booked the rooms did not want to blame themselves so they are trying to blame it on us. Everyone knows that's not fair to us......

Review: I am currently disputing payment to the Super Eight motel located at [redacted], Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I was told that I should contact the Revdex.com and so I am doing just that. My boyfriend and I stayed there from June 24th, 2014 until June 29th, 2014. Our experience there was terrible for various reasons.

When we first checked in everything was fine. The man working at the front desk (who was the same man there every day from the morning to afternoon) told us that since our room was on one side of the building that we could use the side door to bring our things inside. When we drove over to the side of the building the first thing we noticed was two mattresses up against the building right next to the door. These mattresses were dirty and smelled terrible. There was also various trash on and around the walkway to the door. Once we got up the stairs we found a disgusting half drank bottle of Mountain Dew just sitting there on the ledge. The mattresses, trash and Mountain Dew were just the start of it all.

When we got to the room the first thing we noticed is that the bed was not a queen size bed even though it is listed as one. The bed was barely big enough to fit my boyfriend and I. It was very hard for each of us to get comfortable in the limited space. On the bed was a nasty comforter that we immediately tossed it to the side as it was stained and hadn’t seemed to be washed. After the comforter was off we noticed the pillows. Our pillows were extremely flat and uncomfortable. We had to ask later on for two more pillows just to get the right amount of comfort and support. The blanket barely kept us warm even when we turned the air conditioner off. Then there were the sheets. Instead of having fitted sheets they just laid some normal sheets over the mattress and kind of tucked it under in hopes it wouldn’t come up. Every single morning my boyfriend and I woke up on that filthy bare mattress because the sheets moved since they weren’t fitted. It was very unpleasant waking up on a bare mattress that I have no idea what has been on it or how old it was.

When we were just hanging out in the room we decided to watch a little TV. The remote barely worked. Every time we tried to use the remote to turn on the TV, change the volume or change the channel you had to hit it multiple times. The lighting of the room was extremely dim. At night time even with all the lights on you could barely see. The air conditioner was ridiculously loud. Even at the lowest setting it was so loud that we couldn’t keep it on for long. We couldn’t hear each other speak when it was on.

Then there was the bathroom. Underneath the sink looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The toilet had a few hairs when you lifted up the seat. The bathtub had hairs in and around it also. The shower curtain was gross and didn’t even work properly. After every shower there still seemed to be water on the floor no matter how hard you tried to get the curtain to do its job. Also the towels in our rooms had stains on them which were gross.

Then there were the hallways. One morning we went out to breakfast and when we came back somebody had put a pile of dirty, nasty towels in front of our door. My boyfriend kind of kicked them aside assuming somebody from the motel would come grab them. A couple of hours later we left to go to see some shows and they were still sitting there. When we came back around two in the morning they were still there. A pile of wet, dirty towels sat in the hallway for hours but unfortunately that wasn’t the worst of it. Every single day there was beer cars and other trash in the hallways and staircases. It felt like I was staying in a dumpster rather than a motel.

Then there were the housekeeping issues. Every single morning we got woken up because we could hear her pounding and screaming “Housekeeping” from down the hall. She was extremely loud and it was unnecessary. We didn’t appreciate the unwelcomed wakeups from her. On one of the days my boyfriend had stopped her in the hallway and asked her if we could please have just some more towels. She rudely told him “no” and when he asked why not she said she had none. She expected us to just use our dirty towels again which was gross because we had been out the day before and had already used those towels twice. On the one day we needed our room cleaned she pounded on our door screaming which was super annoying as it was every day. My boyfriend opened the door and asked her to give us a little bit of time so I could take a five minute shower so we could get out of there and give her some time to clean. She rudely told him that it was now or we’d have to wait another day. Our room wasn’t the last on her route. She acted like it was an inconvenience to her to do her own job. She easily could have said she would come back after she finishes up a few more rooms or at the end of her route. My boyfriend had to beg her to come back a half an hour later. When she did come back and clean she did it half [redacted] She changed the trash but in one of the bins she didn’t bother to put a trash bag back in it. The toilet paper roll that was on the holder was all used up and instead of changing it she just put one which the towels and left. The housekeeper was just plain rude and did her job in our room half [redacted] so we didn’t have her come back.

Then there was the noise. I’ve never stayed anywhere that was loud all the time before. It was almost impossible to sleep with the insane amount of noise. In the afternoon and night time there were people screaming and yelling in the hallways. They would pound on each other’s doors all day long. There were also people blowing off fireworks right in the little field next to the building. The workers of the motel didn’t stop any of it. Not once did they ask them to quiet down. They just didn’t care enough to say anything. The people were up until around four and five in the morning every single night screaming, yelling, pounding on doors and blowing off fireworks. Then in the morning we’d be woken up because of the housekeeper pounding on doors and yelling. The noise level was unbearable. The main point of a motel on a trip is to have somewhere to sleep and we barely got any. We were only able to function each day was because of coffee, red bull and soda. It amazes me how these workers didn’t even bother to make these people quiet down. It is a motel not a frat house.

I always am on top of my checking accounts balance in my US bank account. I like to be aware of all my funds and calculate things before I make purchases. A little while after I checked in on Tuesday June 24th I checked my account and saw the $667 hold on my account. As the week went on I kept checking my account and all was fine until on Saturday June 28th I noticed that the hold was gone and that the funds were back into my account. I was very confused so I called US bank the man I talked to informed me of US banks policy were after three days if a hold isn’t collected then it gets let go and goes back into my account. The gentlemen on the phone told me that I should go to the front desk at the motel and inform them that the hold was let go. Also in that phone call I did mention to him that the motel was terrible. So I went down to the front desk and explained things to the man at the front desk. He kept telling me everything was fine and not to worry about it. I wasn’t sure if he understood me so I tried to explain what the bank told me again and he cut me off and accused me of not being able to pay the motel. Not once did I say I couldn’t pay and I did not even make it seem like I couldn’t. I found it extremely rude for him to accuse me of something like that. I was extremely insulted by that comment and the way he said it was like he was mad at me. I then decided to tell him a few of my many complaints that I had. My main one was about the noise level at all hours of the day and night. As soon as I started telling him my complaints he moved away from the counter and leaned on the back wall and crossed his arms and gave me an unprofessional look. He wouldn’t let me speak; he raised his voice to speak over me and yelled at me for having complaints. He said that since I am staying there for the same event as the people who are being loud and since we all come in around one and two in the morning that I should have expected it. He told me these people are here to have a good time and to party. He tried telling me that this is how all the motels are. He also told me I just had to deal with it. He then told me to think about the people who were staying there who weren’t going to the event and how upset they must be. I couldn’t believe he told me to think about the other guests when he didn’t care about any of us. When I reserved my room I didn’t expect to be dealing with loud people all day and night long. I didn’t come to stay at the “party” motel. I came to get some sleep after the shows. I have never been so disrespected in my life then I was by this person. That man treated me like I didn’t matter because I am young and was there for the same event as the loud people. My boyfriend and I were never loud or leaving messes in the hallway. The customer service at this Super Eight is terrible. The way he talked down to me and defended the noise was unacceptable. He was well aware of the noise and choose to do nothing about it. He didn’t even try and apologize for the noise or the upkeep of this motel, he just choose to be rude about the whole thing. I felt like he was belittling me by the way he spoke down to me. It was extremely unprofessional. Since he wouldn’t let me talk I just went back to my room and cried because I was so upset and angry. June 28th also happened to be my birthday which he ruined. I couldn’t stop thinking of what he said to me and how he treated me. I still can’t stop thinking about it. After I relaxed from crying I called back US bank just to inform them that I had talked to the front desk about this and once again said that it was a horrible place.

That night when my boyfriend and I were packing he had lost something of his. When we were looking for it everywhere we discovered how unsanitary the room actually was. We turned a flashlight on to look on the TV stand and it was filled with dust and other gross things. It looked like it’s never been cleaned once. We checked around the bed and around the mini fridge which were both covered with dust and other nasty things. We finally found what he was missing under the chair. Underneath that chair was also filthy. Apparently the housekeeper does the bare minimum and nobody bothers to clean what isn’t first seen. That is so gross since they allow animals at the motel. What if somebody brings a cat a lets it around the room and its fur gets everywhere? They just clean up most of it and leave whatever’s not visible around. This is clearly an unhealthy place to stay at.

When it was finally time to get out of that motel we couldn’t wait to get our stuff to the car, check out and go. When we first opened the door to go we couldn’t believe the state of the hallway. There was more beer cans and trash in that hallway which made us happier to leave. In the staircase there was a whole big case of beer with empty beer cans in it and around it like somebody sat there all night and drank. It smelled horrible. When we got down the nasty stairs we opened the door to see that outside was just as bad. There were more beer cans and trash out there. I still can’t believe the state of that motel. It was just beyond repulsive. I went to the front to the front desk and the same rude man was there and he remembered me. He gave me my receipt and said everything was fine with the payment.

So I checked my bank account Monday the 30th and there were still no pending charges or anything from the Super Eight. I was pretty confused but I decided to wait another day. On Tuesday the 1st I checked again a few times and decided to call the bank once more. I told US bank about what had happened with the hold and a little about my horrible experience at this Super Eight. They told me I should call the Super Eight again and inform them of the hold being let go. I didn’t want to have to speak with that rude man again so I just called Super Eights corporate office. I explained to them some of my many complaints and issues I had at that Oshkosh Super Eight. I then told them about the payment issue and that I will have to dispute it if it goes through. They called the Oshkosh Super Eight for me and asked about my payment. The man working there told them the final payment went through and that everything was paid for. I asked the man at least 5 more times if he was sure and he reassured me that everything is paid for. I was still confused so I then called back US bank and told the woman this and asked if she could see anything from Super Eight trying to get through to get the money from my account and she said there was nothing from them.

On Wednesday the 2nd I checked my account and saw that Super Eight had taken the money out. I then went ahead with calling US bank to dispute the payment because of how unhappy am I with the whole experience. The woman I spoke to filled the dispute for me and made everything pretty clear to me. She also told me to keep up with the corporate office of Super Eight to make sure my complaints are being understood. All of the people who have worked with me from US bank have all been amazing. I am so happy with the customer service I received from each person I talked to from there. The people from Super Eight made me feel like they just wanted to get off the phone with me. From the people who work at the Oshkosh location to their corporate office. They weren’t all rude like the man from the actual motel but they all seemed to be annoyed with me. When I was on hold with Super Eight I decided to look up some reviews of that certain Super eight location. Majority of these reviews had very negative things to say about this Super Eight so I know I am not the only person who has had a horrible experience at this location. Some of these reviews dated back to 2011 which is very concerning that nothing has been changed since then.

On Wednesday the 2nd I started speaking to [redacted] from Super Eight’s customer care to make sure they had all of my complaints down and correct as the lady I spoke to from the bank told me to keep up on that. I got disconnected a short while into the call so I called back and spoke to a woman named [redacted] and started again with my list and I got a decent amount through when the phone disconnected again. I then called back once again and spoke to a woman named [redacted] who saw my file and quickly transferred me to somebody else who has already dealt with me. [redacted] sent me to somebody named [redacted] who I hadn’t talked to before. It’s annoying to get disconnected twice and have to wait and then get a woman like [redacted] who sees your complaints and quickly gets rid of you. I found that to be rude since I’ve already spent so much time trying to explain my whole story and for her to just be unwilling to speak to me is upsetting. I then finished up with [redacted] who told me that she would be sending a copy to the Oshkosh Super Eight motel and that they will be taking care of some things internally. She also told me she would be telling the Oshkosh motel that I will be disputing the payments. She told me somebody should get back to me soon and I asked her not to have me speak to the rude man from the motel and she said she would note that. I have still not heard anything back from Super 8 besides receiving a letter in the mail telling me if I have any more complaints to contact the same gentleman who was rude to me and that I asked not to speak to. This letter has upset me even more because they tell me that they don’t control day to day operations of individually owned Super Eights. If a business is under your brand's name then I expect you to make sure that each and every motel under the Super Eight name is representing your company well. If I have any issues with a Super Eight then I am going to go straight to their corporate because I would assume they would be able to help me better since they are the top of the chain. It is unfortunate that Super Eight doesn’t take more control in each and every one of their motels. Also the fact that they want me to direct my complaints to the man who was rude to me when I asked they multiple times to not have him directly call me or me have to directly call him. If that man was rude to me once then what would make me think that he won’t be rude to me again. It is upsetting that corporate Super Eight would go against my wishes to not have to personally deal with him. I this letter did find out that the man's name that runs this motel is [redacted].

This whole situation really upset my boyfriend and I. The stay that we had was not what we had thought we were going to pay for. We didn’t pay for a “party”, we paid for a nice motel stay. This motel unfortunately was more like a frat house than a motel. It was filthy and loud all the time. The people working there were extremely unprofessional. The whole stay was uncomfortable. My boyfriend and I didn’t expect this motel to be unsanitary. We also didn’t think it was going to be loud all the time. We thought we were paying for a clean, friendly and quiet environment and instead we got a dirty, loud and rude environment. I didn’t pay to be belittled when I voice my complaints. Also, that was the first and last time I will stay at a Super Eight.

I would appreciate it if the Revdex.com contacted this Super Eight also.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the money I paid for the stay.

As we talk before this guest stayed with us 5 nights without any problem or any of the issues she discribe in letter we received from you.There were no problem for her untill last night of her stay when she found out about her credit card charges. We charge her according to her reservation ,she booked by travel agency ,where she made this reservation. We were busy for Country Concert in Town for those days and we did not have any of these issues with any other guest. We can't offer her refund what she is asking after looking into these issues.

Review: I made reservations aaaaaat Super 8 in Pleasant Prairie ,WI and stayed a week their .I received a phone caqll in my room saying that I was to chec k out. I asked why and she told me that someone called from another hotel called and said there had been a smell of smoke in one of the rooms.She told them that mataniece thoughgt it could have been my room. I told her that I didn'gt smoke and that sheshouldn't take somone elses opionon over their customer.I called and made a complaint with their customer complaint department like 5 minutes after. They had here apolifgized and I checked out.

I went to rent the motel in November and found out Trudty the frlont desk clerk noted in the system that she thinks I'm a smoker. Do you read what I mean smoking notr thst smoke real ciggarettes but she going on her opinion and it not the corrert one. She needs rto go by policy of a corporation not by what she wants. They apoligizes the first time but because corporate is in another state she tries to run the office the way wants to. I had to call the police the last time to find out why they want to lie abougt service.. The officers wanted to know also. what could posssibly be the problem if it wasn't for non-payment which it is not. Trudy gthought she smelled smoke. Never seen ne smoke and thought that was it. I don't smoke but I remember that the desk clerk from Value Inn told her that she thoughrt was a smoker. I went yesterday to check in and was told by Trudy the front cdesk clerk their was a problem so she wouldn't except reservations. I was upset Ididn't call gthe police this gtime. I decided to file a Revdex.com compliant,I would like have them correct such issue.Desired Settlement: I would like her to receive notification on how she can be corrected through the Revdex.com . Review: Our preferred destination was Appleton, WI. Due to the EAA, Rock USA, and [redacted] Hall of Fame event all hotels in the greater Green Bay/Fox Valley areas were booked. This hotel was our only choice. If I had not been traveling with my teenage daughter, I would have refused this room and slept in my car. As a parent, I didn't believe that was a good choice so I felt we had to stay. We checked in late (10pm) and checked out early (7am) as this was only a stopping point to our final destination. The hotel is run-down and filthy. The room was filthy: Cobwebs, thick layer of dust and grime, hair, toenail clippings, dirty carpet, smashed insects on window interior, inaccessible "free" wifi, broken door lock, stained and worn bed spreads, fruit flies. Due to all the area events hotels were charging premium rates. I was charged $185 for this room. Upon checkout I requested a refund and listed my complaints. I was denied. While I understand I still "used" their service, their service was not as promised. This hotel is unsafe and unsanitary.Desired Settlement: Ideally, I would like a full refund, however, I'm willing to settle for a reasonable hotel rate that coincides with the quality of this hotel. This was a $60 room, not a $185 room. The hotel is misrepresented and I was grossly overcharged for the service I received.

Recently I received a message from your regarding my complaint. At the time I had not had any contact or response from Super 8 Oshkosh. However, in today’s mail I received a refund check for $184. This was the full amount of my stay. Yes, I am satisfied with their resolution.

Review: I booked this hotel through Hotels.com for December 10, 11 & 12 - $152.91. Had bites but thought "spiders" - extended stay for 13 & 14th - $113.28. Was extending stay again - because housekeeping cleaned room changing beds ($368.13) but bites continued - became alarming - sought care at [redacted] Clinic on 12/19 - Diagnosed Bedbugs - was advised to present copy to manager (done) and told to move out. Clinic said hotel should be shut down for treatment of premises. Was not done - even though I contacted Roanoke City Environmental Health Dept/Mr. [redacted]. I spoke to manager who will not work with Hotels.com. Talked to owner via voice mail - no response. Super 8 Corporate Legal Dept. will not help. Hotels.com Legal Dept. will not help.Desired Settlement: I'm due hotel refund of $434.32 and $828.48 medical bills.

We had this guest reservation through Hotels.com for 3 days. Guest has extended repeatedly her stay in same room for 10 days. After staying in same room for 10 days, guest complained about bedbugs. she also complained to Health dept. So health dept rep came next day and check her room thoroughly twice. He didn't find any bedbug infestation in the room. To be sure we also called, our nationally recognized pest control company to check that room. They also didn't find any bedbug infestation in that room. We have written paper from pest control proving there was no bedbug infestation. Guest is asking all 10 days stay refund. If there was no problem of bedbugs proven by health dept and pest control, how can we refund full amount. As courtesy, we offered one day refund, even though there was no problem with room. But guest refuse to accept it.

The Motel is in error in saying that I stayed the full 10 days. I had intended to, but then the bedbug issue arose, and I sought medical attention and was told by the Practitioner that they were, in fact, bedbug bites and that I should move out immediately. She also advised that by law, the hotel would have to be treated in its entirety. To treat one room, is not enough. The Environmental Health Dept. of Roanoke was contacted by me, and the gentleman did in fact go out to investigate. However, his 'not seeing' bedbugs is quite common. They are very difficult bugs to find. They are also very difficult to treat for disposal of the problem. The Environmental Health Dept. did a great dis-service to me, a citizen and patron of the hotel, by not listening to the diagnosis of the Medical Professional. They were indeed bedbug bites, very viscous ones, of which I told them I had pictures of to document the bites. I also told Environmental Health, that I believed that the bugs entered via my suitcase on the floor, under the window, to the right of the air conditioning unit. They were not specifically in the bed, but there was blood on the sheets and the bugs bit me via my clothing at nights. Bedbugs are notorious for not being able to be found, especially in the light of day. I told Environmental Health that I had 'saved' two of the dead creatures out of my clothing.

This manager and the hotel's owner, were never co-operative with me in the very first place when I did as I had been instructed, by the Health Professional, and presented the Manager with a copy of the documentation

of the Medical report. He claims not to 'have seen a copy'- however, the Staff and I myself, saw it in his hands when they passed it off to him behind the Counter. It is a disgrace to him, and to Super 8 Corporate who I

Review: I checked into the motel for a 4 night stay. On the third evening I arrived back to the motel and found my room had not been cleaned. I saw a housekeeper and spoke to her about it. She said the sign must fell off the door. She also said she was done with that area. I asked for towels and garbage bags. She said I would need to get her the dirty towels and she would then give me clean ones. There was never an offer to clean the room. The next evening I arrived back at 7pm to find the room was again not clean, even though the sign for cleaning was on the door as I had left it.I spoke to someone in the office and asked if there was anyone available to clean the room and she said no. She then gave me towels and garbage bags. She said the housekeeper would be written up. This may help future guests but it was of no help to me. I got to spend the rest of the evening and next morning with garbage and dirty towels laying in the room. During the night I also ran out of toilet paper due to no one being in the room to see what needed to be replenished.I feel that I did not receive any consideration in this matter. I have e-mailed the company about my complaint and have not heard anything from them.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the 2 nights that I did not receive the service that I paid for. Review: I was a regular customer. The only reason I stayed here every time I came to town is because they are the only hotel with hot tub suites. The last time I stayed my children were with me when my husband dropped me off. My younger son tried to turn on the TV, and it wouldn't work. My husband used to work hotel maintenance years ago, so I had him look at it. Well no wonder, it was missing the power cable. He went and reported it to the front desk, but I had class all week and never watch TV so I didn't follow up and demand someone come fix it. I didn't care about it until I was charged $200 for it two weeks after I left. The manager told my husband (who watched the stoner desk guy write it down) so sorry, it isn't written down, there's nothing I can do. She called back 5 minutes later and said she would "look into it". Too late. You just accused me of lying and stealing. Bad move.

I'm a regular customer that stays in the most expensive room at the hotel (over 700 for 5 nights at a super 8) and I am accused of stealing a worthless TV cable. There are maintenance people, housekeepers, etc with access to the room, but they are allowed to charge me money two weeks later for something they can't prove I took? That doesn't seem above board to me.

My idea of what happened to the TV cable, for what it's worth. A cable broke, or was stolen for fun by some rednecks in a $49 a night room. The maintenance person didn't feel like bothering with it, so robbed the cord from one of the two hot tub rooms, knowing they don't get rented often and it would buy some time to be lazy. They got a day shy of two weeks after I checked out, who knows how long before then. But the hotel can blame it on me and charge my card with zero proof or motive?Desired Settlement: I want the manager that accused me of stealing fired, and the lazy staff raked over by a new manager, but lets be realistic right? I at least my $200 back for the ten dollar cable they have no proof or reason to believe I took. If anything they owe me money for a basic amenity that they neglected to fix during my stay, but I wasn't complaining until I was charged for it. Only one button worked on the microwave as well, I better report that too. If they notice that next month they'll charge me another $200. I don't see how that's legal. I am a busy mother of 4 working on a MA. My to do list never gets any shorter no matter how much I accomplish. I did not need this hassle. I have spent hours trying to straighten it out to no avail. My stomach has been destroyed since I noticed the charge, in the middle of a 19 page case study that I stayed up all night to finish after contacting the hotel and wasting an hour of my precious time. It is extremely;y upsetting to be accused of stealing, and robbed of $200 you don't have.

You've "spoken" to the manager. Well thank goodness you've "spoken" to her. There is direct evidence that this person attempted to rip me (a repeat customer) off on purpose. She insisted that the issue was not reported during our stay, when it was numerous times. She claimed it was not in the log book or on the job board until the guy we reported it to both times pointed out that the issue was logged, and it was clearly right in front of the managers face. It also appeared the issue had been reported by previous guests, which makes me wonder if others were charged. This issue needs examining, and the people involved need to be fired.The manager also lied to my bank and sent them a letter stating that she tried to call me for over a week and my phone was disconnected, so they believed it and refused to help me too. I've had the same numbers for 5 plus years, no one called me. She was hoping I either wouldn't notice the charge or wouldn't argue/press the issue. That's not how you treat customers, period. In fact, I want to contact a lawyer. This person should be criminally charged for fraud. I can at least file a lawsuit. You know, I had one unhappy stay at a different hotel around 5 years ago and they immediately resolved my issue, sent me an apology card with a note from an actual human, a certificate for a free weekend stay, and a bunch of local free passes to use during our stay. It wasn't about the freebies, we never even used any of them. It was about the customer service, and acting like they cared. Having to spend hours I'll never get back and days sick over this issue and without my money-then get a flippant well fine, here's your money back. Sorry/not sorry. No, I'm not happy.

They have the signs up in front of their business, they answer the phones with Super 8, and the receipt I received has Super 8 on it. However, after my husband and I stayed there (We had traveled over 11 hrs. & were very tired) on Aug. 27, 2014, we told the manager at this location about our disapproval with the filthiness of the hotel. Review: Checked into the Motel on the morning of 4/24/2014. Not long after getting into bed I was bitten by bed bugs. After reporting this to the motel owner Mrs. [redacted], she came to the room saw one of the bugs that I had squashed, saw the feces, eggs, dead bed bugs and different sizes of the bed bugs in the seam of the motel's mattress box spring. She was also shown the bites on me from the bed bugs. I requested to go to another room so that I could shower to make sure all of the bugs were were off of me & was denied. Being extremely upset I left the building. My clothing items were thrown away for fear of being infested. I am now afraid that the car has become infested. I experienced painful bites that exhibited themselves as swollen welts that turned into blisters with severe itching that irritated the affected areas. These blisters & swelling became more pronounced each day so I went to the Emergency Room for treatment. The bites have healed slowly but are leaving scarred holes in my skin.The owner turned the incident over to their Commercial Ins. Carrier ([redacted]) which denied the claim, saying not enough proof, and the owner said they did not go to the room when I was there, did not see anything in the room or my bites. I took pictures while she was in the room of the bugs, feces, eggs etc in the mattress box springs. Pictures, medical documentation, etc. was sent to the insurance co. I have suffered bodily harm, loss of clothing, extreme anxiety, loss of sleep, & embarrassment. Also, I was rendered homeless as I was living at my mother's house & cannot now. My friends do not want me around for the same reason.This bed bug incident has caused me extreme inconvenience & suffering. The conduct of businesses is to protect consumers from risks of harm. Super 8 Motel in Greensburg PA was negligent or committed omission of action in exterminating the bug properly, prior to my stay. They have had prior bed bug reports. On checking with the Dept of Health, the mattresses are to be discarded.Desired Settlement: Monetary settlement for lost clothing, pain & suffering from the bites, and being made homeless. I have been sleeping in the car, taking showers at truck stops, unable to cook my food that I had at home or do my laundry at home, I now have to go to laundry mats & it is expensive. I would settle for $5000.00 since it has taken the insurance company so long to deny my claim. I now have medical bills to pay due to this incident.
