Superior Moving moved [redacted] January 2, at a rate of $per hour as you can see from the copy of sheet she sent to youThis sheet is the info sheet taken when a customer calls to set up a moveThe math on the sheet is not the moving bill but probably the salesman trying to estimate the move amountIt is not the bill of lading which is used on move dayhave included a copy of the bill of ladingThe move took hours plus a quarter hour travel time plus fuel surcharge taxThe estimated bill at halftime was $but the bill when the move was finished came to $The customer only paid us $on move day leaving a balance of $owedThe balance has been paidThe breakdown of the bill is on the bill of lading which a copy is included.Thank you,Mark B [redacted] Superior Moving & Storage, INC

7-23-Dear ***, Spoke with [redacted] today regarding piano[redacted] Piano came out today to look at piano and determined that to the best of his knowledge The piano was fixable and tunable.We will deliver the piano to [redacted] ***, then [redacted] will go to [redacted] ***'s house to tune & repair piano.The gentleman from [redacted] spoke with [redacted] while he was here.We will set up delivery at no charge and go from there.Sincerely,Gina B [redacted]

I hired this company because it was one of the cheapest I could find...and now I know whyI had Superior move my things into their storage for a month and then deliver it into my new place when I moved inThe crews were late both times and not gentle with my thingsSome of my furniture is damaged and lamps were brokenMark and Ray (the owners) promised me a set rate for taking my things out of storage and delivering it to my new place before my stuff was even picked up, but when that day actually came they tried charging me $more than the promised amountSince I wasn't going to pay that I waited around for half an hour for the crew to get in touch with the office to try and come to an agreementThey also tried to charge me for that half hour even though the crew hadn't started emptying the truck with my stuff in it yetEvery time I called the office it was very unprofessionalI would either be on hold for ten minutes or have someone talking over me on the phone because they were talking to someone else on another line at the same timeOverall, this was a terrible experience because the moving crews were very rude and it seems like the office is full of scammers

To whom it may concern:In reference to complain ***, we have made several attempts over the past weeks to contact *** *** directly to try to rectify her complaintWe have been unsuccessful in our attemptsHer situation was a unique one in that our moving
vehicle broke down a day or two prior to leaving for her long-distance destination in FloridaWe did our best to make a timely delivery but unfortunately our vehicle was not repaired in time so we had to rent a vehicleWe unloaded her goods from our vehicle and reloaded them onto the rentalWe then proceeded directly to *** *** in Florida in the interest of making her delivery as quickly as possibleNormally, we would make several stops along the way but since our truck broke down and we were inconveniencing *** ***, we did not make any stops.In summary, we are willing to refund *** *** 10% ($338) of her move cost ($3,379)As a sidenote, there is no profit in this move as we had to already rent an expensive vehicle tocomplete the delivery.Can you please call me or let me know the status of this complaint? My only complaint they arrived hour later than informed "They will be there between - am." The arrived 11:amHowever once arrived, there were men they moved quickly, answered my questions and took good care of my antique oak sideboard and all the furniture I was impressed that they wrapped the box spring, mattress and most of the furniture with plastic for protection They wrapped my huge bureau too and left the drawers in with my socks, pj's, undies and carried down the stairs from my apartmentThat was impressive!
On the other end positioned furniture and boxes where I requested Put the bed skirt on the bed for me too!
This is the 6th time I moved and able to judge quality of service I felt they deserve an A rating No plus because of being late I understand traffic is a factor since rush hour and the particular road they used I don't blame the moving men, rather the office person telling me the window of arrival timeI was able to charge amount on my credit card as informed by officeI gave my card number to office staff using movers cell phone They do not accept personal checksOverall, I highly recommend

Superior Moving is the worst moving company that I have ever dealt withFor a move that was supposed to cost around it cost me over They had a hard time getting a refrigerator into my basement All that needed to be done was to take the doors off of the refrigerator and it would have fit fine through the door They took off my storm door and my regular door and it still didn't fit It took them over an hour to fool with it and still did not get it in the house Mind you they were charging by the hour For a job that should have taken or hours took hours They did not have the correct tools I called a friend over and he had it in my house in minutes They never put back the storm door or my regular door back on My friend had to do that too!

Complaint: [redacted]Superior called me on Monday saying that they will have somebody to come and fix the piano, and I thanked them. I saw their Revdex.com response on Wednesday, so I called [redacted] Piano, but the folks there were not aware of any requests from a moving company.
Called Superior again on Friday, but they told me they would not tell me anything because it was the seller who signed the moving contract. However, I am in constant contact with the seller, and she's not aware of the piano company either. Again, we need a certified piano technician to fix the piano, not any furniture guy. The initial mentioning of [redacted] on the phone scared me.

I hired this company because it was one of the cheapest I could find...and now I know why. I had Superior move my things into their storage for a month and then deliver it into my new place when I moved in. The crews were late both times and not gentle with my things. Overall, this was a terrible experience because the moving crews were very rude and it seems like the office is full of scammers.

To whom it may concern:
In reference to [redacted]'s response, this is the first we are hearing of these new complaints. We were fully aware of the issues with lateness of delivery but missing items is new. We have several waivers that indicate we will not move any money or jewelry which I attached copies. We are not in agreement with the new complaint.
However, in the interest of resolving this issue, we are raising our refund offer from $338 to $450. We feel this is a generous offer for compensation for lateness. We hope to have this issue resolved immediately.
