Superlative RM Reviews (%countItem)

I have received no correspondence from this company on the past, but today I get a text from my mother in law, who's phone number I don't give out and have never even written down as a reference or anything, saying this company contacted her to get information about me saying I sent THEM correspondence and was waiting for them to call back. They lied about what they were calling about and where they were calling FROM. I found I do have a voicemail on my machine where the same agent did say she was from Superlative RM and was calling to collect a debt. Until I get proof I will not be answering these calls. Any other calls made will be ignored.

A male representative from this company called my cell phone, which my sister answered and began harassing her when she told him that I was not available. He began asking her “Where I was”, “ Why she was a answering my phone”, which she replied to him that it wasn’t his business to know where I was. He raised his voice and stated that he had the right to know where she was and she better tell him where I was. He told her “I will find her” in very threatening manner. This is very concerning to me that he behaved this way and does have my physical address and called from an area code about an hour from my residence.

I am rejecting this response because:First off, your representative was not following FTC guidelines. He had legal basis to interrogate my sister about my whereabouts or why she answered my phone after she told him that I was not available. Superlative RM has numerous complaints filed against them for using similar abusive tactics with clients. This debt has been resolved with the original creditor and I’ve been made aware that Superlative RM does not own this debt. This issue is being addressed with my state Attorney General and I no longer wish to be contacted by any Representative of Superlative RM.

On 2/14/2020 Superlative RM called informing me of an account placed with them for $1,313.00 for a ER visit. Instead of listening that first they had the wrong address and I had insurance at the time so there must be a mistake. I was told I owed it and it must be paid. I ended the call as we were not getting anywhere. I called the original creditor EMBCC and found they had a extremely old address that the hospital sent to them. The hospital did not ask if my information was current when I was seen at the ER. I updated my address and was told they would resubmit the claim with my insurance.

On 3/2/2020 I received another call from Superlative. After speaking with EMBCC again my wife called Superlative to explain what was happening and that we needed it to be put into dispute status. Your agent *** was extremely rude after we informed him that we don’t plan to pay this until it is looked over as I had insurance at the time this incident happened and everything should of been covered.

Mr *** said all the dispute does is give us 30 days to come back to reality of figuring out how we are going to pay the $1313. Instead of being helpful and trying to resolve this he was nothing but rude. Told my wife she was wasting his time if we aren’t paying on this. My wife explained our situation financially and we do not have anyone to borrow from. If it comes back after the dispute time we can do $10/month and Mr *** said that was a joke and he refused to entertain the idea of that way of paying off the balance.

We called EMBCC back and explained how the call went. We were informed someone had this put under workman’s compensation which was incorrect which if they had the correct address provided by the hospital we would have been able to get this cleared up and everything would have been covered by every other bill from that day.

Dear Mr Molina

In response to Complaint filed by Clinton L Beasley. I believe this is a duplicate complaint. Superlative RM is a licensed collection agency that was assigned this account on 01-30-2020. In a contact with Mr Beasley on 03-02-2020, Superlative RM accepted a verbal dispute from Mr Beasley. The account was closed and returned to our client. We were informed on 03-03-2020 that Mr Beasley filed a complaint with the Revdex.com regarding this same matter of disputing the debt.

As stated Superlative RM ceased efforts on this account on 03-02-2020 and will make no more efforts to contact Mr Beasley. Any further information validating the debt would be at the decision of the account owner.

Thank you

This hasn’t been resolved. I am awaiting SuperLativeRMs sending the file back to EMBCC. As per my last reply I contacted EMBCC on 4/16/2020 and they had not received the file back from SuperLative.

the caller, ***, called twice. was extremely threatening. I explained I was waiting for a call back from the billing department to ask them questions in regards to my bill. And that the website also won't let me pay online. He raised his voice and was threatening.

Superlative RM Response • Mar 26, 2020

Superlative RM is a licensed collection agency hired to collect past due debt. I understand it may be uncomfortable to receive a call of this nature and we truly do not intend to upset anyone however in listening to this recorded call, there are no threatening statements. It appears that th situation has already been resolved as the consumer called us back after making this complaint and paid the balance.

There is no further issue.

Dear

billed. We have requested the documentation
outlining the specific charges and will forward to Mr *** when
available. No further collection efforts
will be made until documentation is provided.

I have been in negotiation with the original creditor for two years They finally just now charged off the debt I am not negotiating with this debt collection agency in any way I didn't pay the original I certainly am NOT paying this company The information on my credit report states a zero balance as it should It is not my concern that this company decided to "buy" the contract from them. But this complaint is about their underhanded rude abusive and harassing tactics that are violating laws. They called my son late at night asked all kinds of questions about me but wouldn't tell him what it was about due to "privacy" issues I am a senior citizen and live some distance away It not only concerned him it made him upset So all we had was a phone number so I call to see what its about and this person has not only my sons information but PERSONAL information on ME Again I am a senior so this is not good as Social Security is my only income and there is a lot of concern there as so many scams identity teft issues are aimed at seniors The SS administration itself does NOT allow US to access information on the website unless we can prove who we are so he has my DOB and all other information given to the creditor NOT to this company. Anyway so eventually I find out who and what this is about and who he represents and I try to explain this is a disputed debt and if I didn't PAY THEM I am not paying YOU but I didn't even get that far I had barely two words out of my mouth and he starts screaming at me threatening me and basically calling me a low life deadbeat First this was a COURTESY on my part to even call him HOW DARE he treat me that way especially when I wasn't even allowed to speak to explain I didn't live to be 68 years old without learning something He cannot do that and I hung up and our business is done I have emailed this company directly and explained what he would not allow but I mainly want to stress I AM NOT PAYING THIS DEBT and that's the end of it DO NOT CONTACT ME or any of mine ever again and by law you must comply Plus I went on the internet to find out about this company and see they have a lot of complaints with the Revdex.com and I even saw one specific attorney that deal with nothing but complaints and victims of this companies underhanded and unacceptable way of doing business I will not negotiate it took me TWO years to get the original creditor off my bank not to mention the amount they are saying I owe is FOUR TIMES what the original debt because they refused to stop charging interest on interest fees on top of fees and interest on the fees The original creditor was a low life rip off bogus company....and we are not going from the frying pan into the fire JUST SAYIN Case closed

Dear
Mr ***,

In
response to Complaint *** made by ***.

Superlative RM is a licensed debt collection agency. The account Ms

on 10/08/2019. We have made no successful

with no contact, which is in line with the FDCPA guidelines, thus not deemed harassment. However, Superlative has no intentions of
generating complaints, so we will cease further contact with Ms ***.

Ms *** also states this account was fraudulent. With no contact, it has never been
communicated to Ms *** what account we were assigned to collect. Our client has a purchased an emergency

This company is the most malicious company I have ever dealt with. I initially received a call from a “car salesman” type guy stating that I had a past-due credit card balance that had been sent to his company for a balance of $698.02. The fast-talking man wouldn’t even let me speak to ask why I hadn’t received any correspondence about this credit card THAT HAD BEEN CLOSED AND PAID OFF SINCE 2017!!! He just kept telling me it had to be paid THAT DAY. But he tells me he will “sweeten the deal” and allow me to only pay $600 to wipe the slate clean on the spot. As I’m obviously trying to go through old paperwork for this particular card to prove that it was paid off, it must have been apparent that I wasn’t ready to pay up because all of a sudden another man (I use that loosely because I would like to use other words that probably aren’t very kind) appeared on the line. No transition whatsoever, he just started talking, telling me that he was the boss. I even made the comment “oh, I didn’t realize someone new was coming to the phone”. Apparently my lack of willingness to hand out my credit card number was causing frustration because the “boss” then dropped the amount to $550 and said if I paid that right then, on the spot, he would give me a “letter” stating that I have been cleared of the matter. I was extremely uncomfortable by the entire situation, so I tried to get my husband on the line. Unfortunately he didn’t answer and in all honesty the call got disconnected when I tried to click back over. They were so shady and called back, but I wasn’t about to answer until I could speak to my husband. Again, I had closed this account in 2017, and this is mid December 2019 when I’m getting called.

So, I just received a letter in the mail from these scam artists trying to get the $698.02 from me. I am so disturbed that “companies” are allowed to get away with things like this, and I hope I can help others from getting scammed as well. I lost my 10-year-old son to cancer just a few years ago, and my life has been horrific enough. Why would people want to hurt someone like me who has already had to struggle financially and still currently battle emotionally every single day?

Dear Mr ***

In response to Complaint *** made by ***.

Superlative RM is a licensed debt collection agency. The account Mrs *** references was placed with Superlative RM for contingency collections on 09/28/2019. The account originated with ***, secured by ***. The account was charged off 01/08/2018 with a final balance due of $698.02.

We first established contact with Mrs *** on 12/19/2019 at which time she expressed that she thought this account was being paid for by a Debt Settlement company. Our agent explained to Mrs *** that we had contacted the Debt Settlement company and were informed that this account was not enrolled in her program. I have reviewed the recorded conversation Mrs *** references on 12/19/2019 and deny any wrong doing claimed to have happened by our agent. The Agent handled the call appropriately and at no time during the call did Mrs *** express that she was upset or disagreed with the fact that she owed the debt. Mrs *** was transferred to a Manager because the Agent was unable to answer a question. The Manager also handled the call appropriately. At no time during the call did Mrs *** express that she was upset or not wanting to pay.

Superlative RM is not in the business of generating complaints and we will honor Mrs *** request to cease communication. However, this does negate the debt, Mrs *** can contact our office at her convenience or visit our website to make a payment. At any time, our client may recall the account to pursue other collection options, that is beyond our control.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.

On Dec. 6th, I recieved three calls from Superlative the same day. the first was missed the second I was hung up on. The last was a female trying to collect a debt from surgery I had. That surgery was three years ago. I asked for info such as the doctors name the time of the surgery or anything to support her claim that I owed money. She refused and proceeded to ask for my personal info. I refused. She then wanted banking info. I refused unless she wanted to answer the questions I had asked before. She then got beligerent and argumentitive with me and I hung up. On Dec.13 I recieved a letter in the mail stating that I owed a debt. The same that was stated over the phone, but that I could pay half to clear the entire debt. Again, there was no info as to who it is that I owe or for what. No info what so ever!

Dear
Mr ***,

In
response to Complaint *** made by ***.

Superlative RM is a licensed debt collection agency. The account Mr
*** references was placed with Superlative RM for contingency collections on 12/03/2019. We first established contact with Mr ***
on 12/06/2019 at which time he expressed he had not received a bill from the hospital
and refused any further information. Per
our client and the information we were provided, this debt was incurred by Mr
*** on 09/09/2019 at a hospital named Rose Medical Center located at ***. The debt was
originally owed to Colorado Hospital Services Pllc listing Mr *** as the
Patient who at the time provided Insurance through United Health Care HMO and
agreed to Self-Pay After Insurance.

I have reviewed the recorded call made to Mr *** on 12/09/2019. The representative attempted to explain this
to Mr ***. There where no belligerent
comments made as Mr *** claims. However Superlative RM is not in the business
of generating complaints and we will cease any further communication with Mr

debt, if Mr *** would like to resolve this debt, he can contact out office at

I am rejecting this response because: I still have not received a single bill in more than 3 years. An itemized statement listing doctors, services provided and a copy of my signature on a copy of the approval to self pay. I would also like an explanation of why This hospital has waited so long to contact me. Also, to add to the record, this is the second time a collection company has tried to collect a debt from me for the same date. I resolved the matter by going to the offices at Rose Medical Center and confirmed that I had no outstanding debts owed. I will not contact this company again until I receive all of the information I mentioned above.

For three days in a row now this company, Superlative RM Comstock Holdings, has called me asking for someone who is not at this phone number. I told them the first time that I do not know the person and that the number is recently new to me. For three days now they have called and harassed me. the person I spoke with today was very rude with me on the phone and now I no longer am tolerating this harassment. I called back and requested for a 4th time that my number be removed as I am not the person they are looking for. However, I still wish to file this complaint of harassment.

Dear ***,

In response to Complaint *** made by ***.

Superlative RM is a licensed debt collection agency. The account Ms. references was placed with Superlative RM for contingency collections on 10/17/2019. Ms. complaint centers around a collection agencies requirement to verify with whom we are speaking before disclosing and personal and or private information. Superlative RM follows the recommendations set forth by the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals in accordance with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692–1692p.

We first established contact with Ms. on 11/04/2019 when she called our company. In reviewing the recorded call, Ms. stated her name. To comply with the verification guidelines, our agent asked Ms. if her address was ***, Ms. responded with a refusal of vulgarity and a demeaning name directed toward our representative before hanging up.

A second attempt was made to Ms. on 11/07/2019 in which another representative called Ms. in an attempt to speak about the debt, however Ms. again used profanity and ended the call.

Superlative RM will not make any further attempts to call Ms., however this is not a release of debt. Should Ms. wish to pay this debt, she can call our office. Ms. will be asked to verify her identity by confirming her address and year of birth. Should Ms. wish to resolve this account without speaking to a representative, Ms. can visit our website, www.superlativerm.com and select ‘Make a Payment’.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.

I am rejecting this response because: I never called their company and still have no clue on why they are harassing me

Superlative RM mailed me a debt collection notice dated August 16, 2019. I never heard of the company (***) for which the debt is claimed. Moreover, I not aware of debts on my part to any other companies or individuals that could have somehow become enmeshed with ***. Considering that my credit information has been and remains permanently frozen, I must question whether any such debt was ever incurred short of an extreme lack of due diligence on the part ***. At best Superlative RM is pursuing fraudulent debts without any attention to whether they are vaiid.

These shysters have been calling my family using an old number, leaving messages for me claiming I have a debt. My family is sick of it and blaming me but I keep telling them I have no business with these clowns and have never had any contact with them in my life. I've called twice asking them to remove the number from their calling list but both times they ask for personal identifying info which I refuse to give out over the phone given how many scammers there are out there (the fact they're apparently calling from different numbers each time doesn't assuage the scam concerns). Then they want to transfer me to my account manager - I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS COMPANY! The first time the account manager was "unavailable" so they same guy who answered the call asked for my personal info again. Calling back a second time I again requested they remove my family's number and again the person tried to transfer me to the supposed account manager and the line went dead.

Superlative RM is a licensed debt collection agency. The account Mr *** references was placed with Superlative RM for contingency collections on 07/23/2019. A letter was sent to Mr *** outling this debt on 0724/2019. We first established contact with Mr *** on 07/25/2019 on our first attempt at which time he said do not call his mother and hung up on our representative. We had not made any other calls to any of Mr ***’s family members. Calling a family member if a common skip tracing tactic used by collection agencies if they are unable to reach the consumer, however in this case, we reached Mr *** on the first attempt so no other calls where necessary. Every time I call I'm put through to a voicemail. Their paper threatens legal action, but you never get the person you are trying to reach. I have received only 1 letter of correspondence and no msg or conversation with company.

Customer Response • May 13, 2019

If they are working for a card I owe on, than they need to contact me, email me something and tell me what card it is. I will set up a payment arrangement for a valid debt. But, I have no way to determine if this is legitimate & evertime I call I'm transferred to voicemail. Their letter is threatening a judgment without a payment arrangement but not making any attempt to contact me back. Online reviews are saying they don't call back. Threatening legal action and not assisting customers is bad fairh, disparate impact, if their end goal is to avoid customers (?) and just place judgments on people who are going through financial hardship. This is predatory collection practices.

Superlative RM Response • May 14, 2019

Please see attached

I received a call on 4/13/2019 from a company calling themselves Superlative RM. The lady was rude and said I owed $1700
I told her I had no knowledge of this debt. She said it was for an *** store card. I asked her could she send me written correspondence of this in the mail. She became upset and said she’d sue me and asked me to give her either my bank account information or a debit card to make payment arrangements. She also asked for my social security number and I told her I didn’t feel comfortable giving that over the phone to a company I wasn’t aware of. I told her I was not giving her my bank information because I had never received anything in the mail from this company and that I wanted to get something in the mail from them with the amount and the name of the original creditor and that I wanted to call *** myself to get that amount to make sure that it was correct before I made any type of payment arrangement with her. Then a man came on the phone and he started being very rude to me. He didn’t introduce himself, he just started talking. I asked who are you? He said he was her manager. I told them both that I knew my rights and I was entitled to ask for written correspondence before just giving me bank account information over the phone to a company I never got a letter from. They started telling me that they would sue me so said I’m on vacation and I had gotten upset because I was at lunch with family and was visibly upset because this man and woman are screaming at me in the phone threatening legal action and threatening to garnish my wages because I asked that they send me an official letter. I’m a mom of 2 and help my mother who is going through chemo therapy. I don’t have. $1700 to just give at one time. I gave her my address because I moved and she said she’d call me again. I still have not received a letter as of 4/20/2019. She called me again on 4/15/2019 and I told her I would contact them once I receive a letter from them. It had only been 2 days and I said I should get your letter this week and I will call them once I did. She was rude again. My mother text me on 4/19/2019 telling me someone name *** from *** called MY MOMS CELL NUMBER looking for me about a follow up call for collection for a debt. Why are they calling my family discussing my financial matters!? I don’t know how they got my moms cell number. I don’t live with my mom. And I never give any company my moms number. They won’t validate this debt by sending a letter and they are calling my family which is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and they certainly cannot contact my family. I called *** 4/13/2019 to ask them who their third party collections company is and they gave me a number for a completely different company. *** also told me not to give anyone my Social Security number or bank information if this collection company won’t send me a letter. I asked them to also send something with the amount owed so I know the collection company isn’t telling me the wrong amount and *** told me they cannot? I’m not trying to dodge these people but I want to make sure I get official documentation before I just give a collection company my personal information. Especially when a company claims they are legit but talks to people in such an unprofessional manner. I didn’t know that by me asking for an official letter would warrant me bring harassed, threatened with legal action and my mom with cancer being called.

I know this is a collections agency due to research on ***. They have called my cell phone like crazy and I finally picked up in October 2018, a collections rep that goes by ***? or *** spoke to me. She asked me if I was ***, who is my brother. I advised her this is my cell phone and not his phone. She said she couldn't talk to me but would like to talk to *** (how did she find my number?). I told her he had moved out of state already and I don't keep in contact. I will tell him about her call when I get a hold of him. I advised her I knew she is from a collection agency and maybe my brother was struggling and was sent to collections, she said YES but cannot address more until she speaks with him. I said I would pass on the message whenever he contacts me. Then Oh my goodness, she or Superlative attempts to call me 4 times a day; every single day!! They can't even talk to me, why don't they just stop harassing my phone. They have used all 4 numbers to try to call me . The following numbers are: *** and ***.

Dear
Sir or Mam,

In
response to Complaint *** made by ***.

Superlative RM is a licensed debt collection agency. The account Ms
*** references belongs to *** and was placed with Superlative RM for contingency
collections. After reviewing the account
and not having spoken directly to the consumer, we are unable to disclose any
detailed information other than Superlative RM is a collection agency. The phone numbers Ms *** states belong to
her where provided to Superlative RM from our client or various skip tracing
efforts. We have removed the numbers Ms
*** states to belong to her and offers our apologies for the
inconvenience. Had we known we could not
contact the consumer at her number, we would not have made the attempt.

Ms *** does state that Superlative RM does call her every day,
this maybe overstated as in review of the account there have been 17 total attempts
to 5 different numbers over an almost 90 day period.

If you have any
further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.

Very
truly yours,

***

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I received this threatening letter yesterday demanding I pay $1,758.27 to Creditor ***. I have no knowledge of this debt and do not like to be threatened with letters from an unknown creditor for an unknown debt which does not belong to me.

I am now sending this threatening letter from your company to the government agencies that handle threatening letters from debt collectors (unknown debt collector and illegitimate debt).

Never contact me again and never send me any threatening letters in the future. If you do so, I will take legal action against you and your company.

from this company has been non stop harassing me. Today 11/26/2018, I received a call from him at my work. I do not know how he got where I work or my number as I just started this job and don’t even know my work number myself. Today also, my mother told me Someone has also been calling my mother’s place of work pretending to be me. This is illegal and basically identity fraud!!! They claim to have sent letters regarding a debt. I have notified them that I did not receive any letter and that I do not authorize them to call my place of work. I have asked for a verification letter of the debt and a contract stating I owe SUPERLATIVE RM money and my original contract with the company they said I owe money too. I have asked this letter be sent to my mailing address that they confirmed today. I do not authorize them to harass me at my work, my mothers work, or via any phone calls. All further communication with them I want through mail ONLY.

This company is very unprofessional and is borderline illegal in their practices.

November 28, 2018 Dear Ms ***, In response to Complaint *** made by ***. Superlative RM is a licensed debt collection agency. The account Ms *** references was placed with Superlative RM for contingency collections on 11/14/2018. We first established contact with Ms *** on 11/26/2018 at which time she expressed we contacted her at a work number and she could not continue the conversation or take calls at her place of employment. The call was immediately ended and the number was blocked in our system. SRM, with this account, received seven (7) potential phone numbers from our client as possible numbers to reach Ms ***. In many situations these numbers are not identified other then cellular or hard line and our only way to determine which number is accurate is to attempt to call. SRM is not in the business to ‘harass’ anyone, if a number is determined bad, it is immediately removed. Further SRM call frequencies stay within the guidelines of the ***. Ms *** called our office later that day to request validation of the debt. Said validation Ms *** requested has been compiled and will be mailed to Ms *** within the next five (5) business days. In reviewing the call recordings and system notes, SRM finds this complaint is inaccurate other than a request for validation. SRM will comply with the *** to validate the debt. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. Very truly yours, J *** Chief Compliance Officer Superlative RM O: *** E:

In November 2018 I filed a complaint through Revdex.com and asked for a debt verification as well as to stop with all communications through calls, emails, etc., except through letters mailed. I have received the "debt verification" letter on 12/10/2018 which includes the original creditor, "Crown Asset Management" which appears to be another debt collection agency. I have received so called "statements" with a name that claims to be mine. Any person can create a statement and put some persons name on it. I do not believe it is mine or that the statement is real as it is a copy of some statement. I also received a copy of a sale agreement between *** and *** that states that *** has transferred and sold said account to *** and not to SUPERLATIVE RM who is trying to collect from me for an account I am still disputing. Superlative RM was unable to verify that said account is mine and was not able to furnish my request of an original signed contract between me and said original creditor (***) or an original signed document that *** is transferring said account to SUPERLATIVE RM to collect debt. I am requesting that all attempts to collect be stopped immediately.

This company will call everyone connected with a person they are trying to collect a debt from (whether that person has paid the debt or not) and lie about how they obtained the contact information of family members and associates. This feels like harassment. Whether this tactic is a legal business practice or not it doesn't seem proper to essentially inform every person they can find with a phone number is attached in an online search that a debt collection agency is contacting trying to contact their relative or associate.

This sad pathetic joke of a collection agency sent me a "notice" about a debt I already paid. These sadistic liars tried to claim that I owed over $1,500 dollars to TEMPOE even though I called the company and have a proof that I paid off my debt. To whom who does business with a company like TEMPOE beware that even if you paid off whatever you owe that these for a lack of better word "people" will come after you for their own sick fetish like pleasure.
