Superlative RM called my place of work asking for me. When co worker said I could not receive phone calls at work they insisted on still speaking and asking my name and asking for the last four of my social security. When coworker insisted I could not receive personal calls at work the person on the phone then gave the last four of my social and asked my co worker to confirm if that was my social. I find this very unprofessional, bordering on illegal. They have proceeded to call my phone every hour on the hour with an unknown number and not leave a message. And then follow it up with a phone call with their actual number.
Superlative RM trains employees and adheres to all requirements of the FDCPA and State laws. Superlative RM records all calls and prior to any conversation, every collector states to every consumer that the call is being recorded.
This call, as are all calls, was recorded. Superlative RM did attempt to reach this consumer at her place of employment, one time. On the first attempt, the consumer responded yes when asked by name. The consumers acqusation that a co-worker spoke to the collector is inaccurate unless the co-worker identified herself as the consumer.
Superlative RM requires its collectors to further identify the consumer by a second attribute such as DOB or L4 of SSN. The consumer refused to provide 2nd attribute and stated she can not receive calls at her place of employment.
Superlative RM has a policy that if a consumer asks for calls to cease at the place of employment, the call is to be terminated and blocked from further calls. The call did end, and the collector did block the consumers place of employment number from our system. No further calls to the consumers place of employment have been made.
