I recently been involved in bumper to bumper acciedent in Surf threw Yuba city. I have received a call stating it was the car washes fault. I had to get 3 estimates and they chose the cheepest estimate. Now the car wash will not pay for damages owed. Horrible service from regional. If not resolved will be taking them to small claims.

Not notified of increase
We have always complimented Surf Thru for a great experience. I have been ill with Pneumonia, not using the car wash. There was no communication in regards to an increased amt being debited. The employee disregarded my concern & adamantly relayed it was my responsibility to read the notices on the property of Surf Thru. I reiterated I had not been on the premise aware of the increase; employee repeated the signs eliminated my frustration & it was not Surf Thru responsibility. Please be careful, with those who take advantage of your ignorance without any concern of your wellbeing.

[redacted] was taken care of and everything was situated very well, his camry he claim to say we scrathed in our car wash, I [redacted] specifically spoke with Mr [redacted] we came to an agreement and got the scrathes buffed out and he was more than happyHere’s the final bill for the color sand & polish scratches on the hood The scratches came out & the customer is happythis is the final we received from our body shop and proof that we took care of his damage

To whom it may concern, The claim was denied for [redacted] because we have video evidence of pre-existing damage to her vehicleAfter claiming damage to her vehicle she still came back yesterday September 6th to wash her vehicleShe was being very belligerent that we had to call police and have them remove her from our propertyShe stood by our cashier register lying to our customers saying we damage vehicles which drove a ton of customers awayAs stated before, we have video evidence to prove the pre-existing damage before she entered our washShe is no longer welcomed to any Surf Thru locationsThank You

Our investigation of the claim revealed that there was no malfunction or condition that could have possibly caused the damage claimedHad such a condition existed more vehicles would have sustained damage during the same time period as all vehicles are subjected to the same conditionsWe washed thousands of other vehicles before and after her vehicle without incidentThe claim was denied because there was a physical impossibility that the carwash caused the damageFor a wheel to be scratched there would need to be an exposed defect to the equipment and more specifically the car wash conveyor railWe inspected all the equipment and there was no issue or problems with the equipmentWe could find nothing that created even a possibility of causing the type of damage claimed If there was proof that the damage was caused by the car wash we would take care of the claimAt this time, we believe that we came to the correct decision in denying the claimIf there are additional facts/evidence the guest would like us to consider please let us know

I have spoken to the claimant The claimant had some very good points that we appreciate hearing and we have resolved the complaint to his satisfaction

I ran my Jaguar through the car wash and after being washed noticed scratches on the hood in straight lines patterned after the brushes of the car wash Upon notifying the manager " [redacted] " he stated he needed to contact the regional manager " [redacted] " and would call me backAbout a week later I called [redacted] since no one contacted me and he said he had forgottenSo about another week passes and [redacted] calls me and says he was authorized to buff out my car and but they were out of teh wax/cutting productHe then calls back after another week and I bring my car back for him to buffThe buffing did not entirely take out the scratches so he tells me he would inform his regional managerThe regional mananger never calls me so I call [redacted] again who says there is nothing else he is authorized to do

On July 26, my door panel was ripped off my drivers side doorI was told to call and ask for the mangerSo later that afternoon I went back to speak with the manager and they wrote down info regarding my truck and took a picture of the damage I asked for a copy of the paperwork, he said some one would call me in 2-dayWell is it been day and yet no has called me at all Aug Here it's a month ago and still this company has not called me nor answered my letters eitherThis is not a happy customer....I'll just keep posting until someone see my complaints.,or maybe pics of my truck door and my video of my door prior to it getting damaged by Surf Thur Carwash Herndon and Sunnyside September 1, So [redacted] (customer relations) called me to started that the manager attempted to contact me time yet she/he left no message and I have reviewed my call logs for the time and date of said call(July 26-28) and none of the numbers are listed even if it was blocke

The customer’s response indicates the she rejects the claim because the blower did damage to her car That argument is analogous to saying that wind caused damage to her car because a year old part fell off driving down the road The customer describes no negligence on the part of Surf Thru Car Wash, but rather argues because the part fell off at the car wash, the car wash is automatically responsible no matter what This is not the law in California, as the customer must establish negligence on the part of the car wash employees or an equipment malfunction Neither negligence nor a car wash equipment malfunction occurred here and the customer has not provided evidence to support such a claim The blowers used at Surf Thru Express Car Wash are standard horsepower blowers that are used throughout the express car was industry nationwide Surf Thru does not adjust the strength of them, and can only adjust the angle or direction to assist with blowing water off a vehicle That angle at this wash has not been adjusted for years as there has been no reason to do so Surf Thru never indicated in its response that they were adjusted Rather, Surf thru pointed out that no other vehicle claimed any issues related to the blowers on this day The blowers were operating normally both before and after this particular car wash and have been operating normally since then Parts that are properly attached to vehicles do not blow off in horsepower express car wash blowers during a express wash process Surf Thru has washed millions of cars at this location as evidence of this fact, not to mention the over vehicles washed on this same day without any issue As to the contact issue raised, Surf Thru’s internal notes show a call to the customer on 7-28-at 4:32, with no answer Surf Thru does not have any more information to offer on this issue

I purchased a package deal from this car wash of car washes a month for $dollars This purchase required the business to take the $automatically from my bank account I agreed to this and entrusted them with my account number and to take the money from my account This was fine for a year or two until today when I realized the business decided to charge me extra money ($30) I called the business and they advised they decided there prices went up and charged everybody more money as they please There was nothing when originally bought that said they could raise the prices I entrusted them with my bank account and allowed them to take $dollars a month I did not give them permission to take as much as they please when they felt necessary They breached the original contract and also committed a violation of penal code 503(a) embezzlement which states: To prove that a defendant committed embezzlement, a prosecutor must be able to prove following elements: An

This claim was denied because the crack in the windshield started at a chip on her windshield The chip was preexisting damage which weakened her windshield and caused it to crack We have washed millions of cars at this car wash including over a thousand the very same day and the car wash has never caused a windshield to crack We watched the cameras and none of the car wash equipment malfunctioned during the wash process Surf Thru is not responsible for paying for damage that is caused by preexisting damage causing a weakened windshield nor when it is not at fault for damage to any vehicle

I came through on September 1st to get my car washed I noticed that there were scratches in damages to the roof of my car I filed a damage complaintmy car is brand new I've only washed it twice and only at the same locations I have bank records to prove it and when I came back to find out what they were going to do about the damages to my car they told me that they are not responsible for it and that there is no way that their machines could have done the damage to my car that it did the manager Ricardo was very disrespectful and rude refused to give me any names of his supervisors as well as who I can make a complaint to against them

*** * *** came through the wash in her Infinity QXon July 26th, She filed a damage claim that same dayMs*** claimed her side molding came off during the wash. Her claim was reviewed. Upon reviewing the high definition camera system, it was observed that a side panel molding flew off as soon as it reached the air dry blowers in the wash. The blowers were examined and there was no malfunctioning equipment. No other vehicles that day reported any damage or that that the blowers were not adjusted properly or were in some way malfunctioning. No negligence was observed when observing the car wash employees and in fact that area was not even touched by anyone at the wash. Occasionally when vehicle get older, in this case the vehicle was over years old, adhesives and other parts on a vehicle come loose during the wash process. There is nothing Surf thru can do to prevent that from occurring, it is wear and tear. That is why Surf thru expressly disclaims damage to vehicles over years old that occur during the wash process. This customer was contacted on July 28th, at 4:32 pm and did not answer. Once the customer was reached it was explained to her why the damage claim had been deniedThose reasons being, the side molding was not attached properly prior to entering through the wash If it was, it would not have come off in the blowers. That is why other parts on Ms***’ vehicle did not fly off in the blowers, as they were properly attached. For the reasons stated, Surf Thru will not be fixing this customer’s vehicle

Our General Manager has spoken with *** *** and this issue was resolved

I went through the car wash in my Nissan versa and their equipment pulled out a rubber strip from the top trim of the carWhen I told the employees they told me the owners would deny fixing that so they just sort of pushed it back in but now you can see it is not flush like the other side of the trim isI waited for a call but never received one so I called the business myself on 9/6/and spoke to the manager Raul who's response was "well the owners are attorneys and we break mirrors on BMWs all the time and we don't fix those so they're not gonna fix yours" yes my car is not a BMW or some other expensive car but how unprofessional is he to down talk about whatever car I driveI just want them to Fix my car and train their manager on how to talk to customers, if he talks like that being the manager, I can only imagine what I can expect from the other employees

I paid went through the carwash and came out with a large crack in my front windshield I am not paying for something that was not my faultI informed the cashier and manager after filling an accident report and they are saying I must of had a crack beforeI said no you can check your cameras

The chip is exactly where the crack starts. The chip is the preexisting damage that caused the crack. No one at the car wash was negligent nor did the car wash equipment malfunction. The customer does not make any claim of negligent conduct on the part of anyone at Surf Thru or explain how the car wash equipment malfunctioned in anyway
