I am rejecting this response because:
I never said your employees where negligent I was making a hair appointment for my son not inspection your equipment I went straight into the office and filled a accident report with the cashier and 1st I was told a manager was coming out in 5mins he never came so the cashier came and did the report then was going to get a phone call from the manager who never calledI had to call everyday trying to fix this and I am fed up!! Legal action will now begin

I purchased an Ultimate Wash at 11:AM on 2/5/ As I entered the carwash (my car was in neutral, the conveyor moved my car extremely quickly to the point the attendant slammed his palm on my car as to tell me to get out of "Drive" Though, my car was already in Neutral While I was inside the carwash, I felt like I was rear-ended The machines stopped and I had soap on all my windows and exterior mirrors I could not see anything outside my vehicle I remained inside and the machines started up again As soon as my vehicle was outside, I safely parked to inspect my vehicle There was no noticeable damage at the time My car was wet and still dirty I walked to the front to discuss with the employees and asked if I was rear-ended inside They lied and told me know that they stopped the machine to let the car behind me back out and that the car was nowhere near me The claimed the rollers on the conveyor belt hit my back tires and that lurched my car forward When I use

Management of this facility is clearly prejudice and frequently makes up company rules at any giving timeThey will take your money then tell you to sign a disclaimer and if you refuse, there goes an hour of your time and kiss your money good byeThe refuse to process refunds, much less give you any documentationI recommend you find another car

We have reached out to *** *** and sent him to our body shop to reattach his stripHe was very satisfied. Thank You

September 1,
So *** (customer relations) called me to started that the manager attempted to contact me time yet she/he left no message and I have reviewed my call logs for the time and date of said call(July 26-28) and none of the numbers are listed even if it was blocke

On Monday July 17, I drove my Dodge RAM truck through the business location on Herndon Ave in Clovis, CAThere were two employees at the start of the wash, brushing the vehiclesNeither of those employees were scrubbing the side windows or mirrors, and then were folding the mirrors in, which prevented the wash from cleaning the windows or mirrorsAdditionally, they did not clean the bugs off of the headlights, and there was another grease spot on the front passenger quarter panel near the hood that was no cleaned
I drove back around to the cashier, who was a very friendly young ladyI explained to her what had happened, and she spoke to the two employees that were scrubbing the vehiclesShe then came back and told me to proceed through the wash again, which I didWhile the two employees were scrubbing my truck, they both folded the mirrors again, without scrubbing the side windows or mirrorsI signaled for one of the employees to scrub the window and mirror, b

My experience today at Ashlan & First St; I have done business here for years, most weeksToday, I went to have the car washed before work (didn't stop at vacuum as I usually do), headed for work where I noticed that the trunk of the car wasn't cleanReturning after work, the female cashier was VERY Helpful in the manager approving a rewash! During the rewash, something went Wrong with the equipment, soap was applied to the car, But the right side spinners didn't spin, no rinse water was forthcoming leading to the dryers drying soap on the car! Returning once again, without leaving the premises, the Manager refused to correct, saying he had made an exception with the rewash and there would NOT be a third even when I offered to pay for it......I TOOK MY Business elsewhere to get Surf Thru soap off my car, after taking pictures

I went to have my car washed at 5:15pm today Feb 202018, when the car washed was finished I noticed a lot of water all over the car, and many dirty spots on my car! I went to the office to make complaint about the water and dirt left on my car, the cashier told me that she will not reward my car because her supervisor was there, then a gentleman that works there approached me and told me I don’t know what happen to my car, I asked him do you think my car needs more water and dirt and he said maybe your car loves it, I said it’s the machine fault not mine, the man told me something can happen an time, when I asked for wipes he said it will be 1.00! Both the woman and man talked very badly to me and made fun of me! Both the man and woman treated me very disrespectful due to English being my second language!! I paid for this wash, I was very upset, when I left they laughed at me like I was dirt! My receipt information greeter 1/ shift empl sale # //

I went to wash my car at their location and I noticed while I was ounkojng gas a couple blocks away that my wheels were severely scratchedI went back to complain and they did nothing to resolve my claim and told me to sue because they weren't going to fix my problemAlso saying that j was going to lose 100%

On July 7, I went to Surf Thru Express at *** N First St., Fresno, CA to get a car washDuring the wash the cover of the satellite antenna on top of the car was broken offI told the manager that I wanted to file a damage claim and did so at that timeI requested a copy of the complaint and the manager refused to give me one claiming it was property of the businessI told him I was entitled to a copy since it had my personal information on itHe did not agree and still refused to give me a copyAs for the complaint he said I should have a response in a couple of daysToday, July 11, 2018, I got a call from the the manager Ricardo telling me my damage claim was deniedI told him that I would pursue money remedy
Since going through the car wash is the proximate cause of the damage I should be compensatedI secured an estimate from ABC Auto Body, *** E Belmont Ave, Fresno, Ca for the amount of $to repair the damage

I feel pictures speak louder than words, so If I could attach photos I would......however my experience was not good with this car wash Carson City locationI just moved hereMy old car wash, I was a loyal customer for yearsThis car wash is set up a lot like the other so I thought it would meet my needsThe people working here including the manager are polite but don't care whether or not you get the wash you pay forI paid for a wash at night in the dark and got out and vacuumed lightly the inside of my vanI did not see that the back of the van and the bottoms of the sides did not get cleanThe guy doing the preliminary wash down missed those areasI probably wouldn't have minded if it was just the bottom sides but the whole back of the van was pretty dirty after the washI purchased the more expensive optionI went back the very next morning when I could see what they had missedAnd the same manager was there who I had dealt with the night beforeEven though it was obvious due to the marks on the back of the van that the guy didn't do the preliminary wash well enough she said it was "against policy to rewash for free once the car left the lot"Despite the fact that it was dark and I couldn't see that the wash was not done well at all, and despite the fact that had the wash been done well and had I just gotten it dirty again, the car just would have been dusty and you wouldn't have been able to see the marks from the mechanical washersI guess their policy is you can pay but if it's obviously not done correctly you can pay againNot to mention that at the other car wash they removed your antennae for youThe manager asked me politely if I wanted her to remove itI told her I didn't care , but was thinking I could do it myself as nobody was there when I drove up ....I would remove myselfThe whole exchange was odd.....I also had to go to the office to ask for tape to tape down the back window windshield wiperThe other car wash also did this automatically She told me if I needed help putting it back on that the "guys" would be there after I went through the washNobody was there so not sure what she was talking aboutCouldn't give anyone a tip either....kind of happy afterwards because didn't really get what I paid for anywayAll polite talk, but half hearted service at bestSave your money and go somewhere else!

I made the mistake of trusting the quality and safety of their equipment and assumed the staff was properly educated and trained for the job Upon entering the carwash, the "trained staff" takes their best guess at properly aligning your car onto the narrow tracks The staff member that was guiding me onto the tracks was barely paying attention and talking with the other staff member -- he gave me completely inaccurate directions, gave me a thumbs up and told me to put my car in neutral I could feel my left rim being scraped along the metal tracks because I was clearly not properly aligned After exiting the car wash, I cringed when I saw the scratches that were deeply embedded, exactly where I had feared they were going t be The manager was extremely rude and told me it was impossible for the damage to be only on one tire When I told him how it had occurred, he immediately shut me down saying I was wrong because he has "trained professionals" He reluctantly filled out an in

I have spoken to the claimant.  The claimant had some very good points that we appreciate hearing and we have resolved the complaint to his satisfaction.

The customer’s response indicates the she
rejects the claim because the blower did damage to her car.  That argument
is analogous to saying that wind caused damage to her car because a 15 year old
part fell off driving down the road.  The customer describes no negligence
on the part of Surf Thru Car Wash, but rather argues because the part fell off
at the car wash, the car wash is automatically responsible no matter
what.  This is not the law in California, as the customer must
establish negligence on the part of the car wash employees or an equipment
malfunction.  Neither negligence nor a car wash equipment malfunction
occurred here and the customer has not provided evidence to support such a
claim.  The blowers used at Surf Thru Express Car Wash are standard 10
horsepower blowers that are used throughout the express car was industry
nationwide.  Surf Thru does not adjust the strength of them, and can only
adjust the angle or direction to assist with blowing water off a vehicle.
That angle at this wash has not been adjusted for years as there has been no
reason to do so.  Surf Thru never indicated in its response that they were
adjusted.  Rather, Surf thru pointed out that no other vehicle claimed any
issues related to the blowers on this day.  The blowers were operating
normally both before and after this particular car wash and have been operating
normally since then.   Parts that are properly attached to vehicles
do not blow off in 10 horsepower express car wash blowers during a normal
express wash process.  Surf Thru has washed millions of cars at this
location as evidence of this fact, not to mention the over 500 vehicles washed
on this same day without any issue.   As to the contact issue raised,
Surf Thru’s internal notes show a call to the customer on 7-28-17 at 4:32, with
no answer.  Surf Thru does not have any more information to offer on this
issue.

This claim was denied because the crack in the windshield started at a chip on her windshield.  The chip was preexisting damage which weakened her windshield and caused it to crack.  We have washed millions of cars at this car wash including over a thousand the very same day and the car...

wash has never caused a windshield to crack.  We watched the cameras and none of the car wash equipment malfunctioned during the wash process.  Surf Thru is not responsible for paying for damage that is caused by preexisting damage causing a weakened windshield nor when it is not at fault for damage to any vehicle.

Our investigation of the claim revealed that there was no malfunction or condition that could have possibly caused the damage claimed. Had such a condition existed more vehicles would have sustained damage during the same time period as all vehicles are subjected to the same conditions. We washed...

thousands of other vehicles before and after her vehicle without incident. The claim was denied because there was a physical impossibility that the carwash caused the damage. For a wheel to be scratched there would need to be an exposed defect to the equipment and more specifically the car wash conveyor rail. We inspected all the equipment and there was no issue or problems with the equipment. We could find nothing that created even a possibility of causing the type of damage claimed.
If there was proof that the damage was caused by the car wash we would take care of the claim. At this time, we believe that we came to the correct decision in denying the claim. If there are additional facts/evidence the guest would like us to consider please let us know.

[redacted] was taken care of and everything was situated very well, his camry he claim to say we scrathed in our car wash, I [redacted] specifically spoke with Mr. [redacted] we came to an agreement and got the scrathes buffed out and he was more than happy. Here’s the final bill for the color...

sand & polish scratches on the hood.  The scratches came out & the customer is happy. this is the final we received from our body shop and proof that we took care of his damage

[redacted] [redacted] came through the wash in her 2001 Infinity QX4 on July 26th, 2017. She filed a damage claim that same day. Ms. [redacted] claimed her side molding came off during the wash. Her claim was reviewed.  Upon reviewing the high definition camera system, it was observed that a...

side panel molding flew off as soon as it reached the air dry blowers in the wash.  The blowers were examined and there was no malfunctioning equipment.  No other vehicles that day reported any damage or that that the blowers were not adjusted properly or were in some way malfunctioning.  No negligence was observed when observing the car wash employees and in fact that area was not even touched by anyone at the wash.     Occasionally when vehicle get older, in this case the vehicle was over 16 years old, adhesives and other parts on a vehicle come loose during the normal wash process.  There is nothing Surf thru can do to prevent that from occurring, it is normal wear and tear.  That is why Surf thru expressly disclaims damage to vehicles over 5 years old that occur during the normal wash process. This customer was contacted on July 28th, 2017 at 4:32 pm and did not answer.  Once the customer was reached it was explained to her why the damage claim had been denied. Those reasons being, the side molding was not attached properly prior to entering through the wash.   If it was, it would not have come off in the blowers.  That is why other parts on Ms. [redacted]’ vehicle did not fly off in the blowers, as they were properly attached.  For the reasons stated, Surf Thru will not be fixing this customer’s vehicle.

To whom it may concern, The claim was denied for [redacted] because we have video evidence of pre-existing damage to her vehicle. After claiming damage to her vehicle she still came back yesterday September 6th to wash her vehicle. She was being very belligerent that we had to call police...

and have them remove her from our property. She stood by our cashier register lying to our customers saying we damage vehicles which drove a ton of customers away. As stated before, we have video evidence to prove the pre-existing damage before she entered our wash. She is no longer welcomed to any Surf Thru locations. Thank You
