I don't even know where to begin! I was gifted two mini sessions by another woman in the FB group who was unable to use her sessions. I was able to use one out of the two sessions on a "Mommy and Me" session with my son. It went good enough that I decided to book my other mini session on a boudoir inside session. I tried to utilize their booking system link that was posted on FB. After over two days of trying to book a sessions I was finally able to get something booked and was able to book the date I wanted. I booked for the day before my 31st birthday as a fun gift to myself after an extremely difficult year. I also decided that I would purchase $210 in upgrades including hair and makeup, big angle wings and a makeup session. All of which had to be paid in full in advance to the session otherwise I would not be able to get the upgrades. My scheduled date rolls around and I get a FB message at 7:50am (day of photo shoot) and am told that the makeup artist's, Ashlie, daughter was having medical complications and therefore the entire shoot had to be rescheduled. I, of course, understood that she needed to be home with her child and ensure she was receiving care. I was told that they would be rescheduling and that was the end of the conversation. I reached out to both Suzanne and her hair and makeup artist Ashlie on March 1, 2020, 6 months after my scheduled shoot for a refund of the extra services that I purchased because neither one of them reached out to me to reschedule the shoot. I got an almost immediate response from Suzanne stating she would take care of the refund the next day and apologized. I followed up a couple of days later because I had not seen the refund in my account and did not realize that it would take 14 days for the refund to hit. Meanwhile I still had heard nothing from Ashlie in regard to her refund (I paid both Suzanne and Ashlie separately). I was told that if I did not see the refund within the 14 days to let Suzanne know. March 14th rolls around and I still did not see anything in my account. I reached out to both ladies again and let them know what was going on. I heard nothing. I reached out again on March 18th and heard from Ashlie asking how I paid her for the makeup session. I paid her through PayPal. March 20th comes and I reach out, yet again to see what is going on. Clearly COVID-19 is happening and I am more than understanding that they are dealing with other clients due to the global pandemic. I hear nothing. March 24th, I need an update as nothing is in my account. I hear back on March 25th stating that Suzanne could do nothing because it had not yet been 14 business days. Fine. Suzanne claims to send an email to Square, even though I paid though PayPal, to get this resolved. It is now 30 days after reaching out for a refund and close to 7 months since my schedule shoot and I am out over $200 and no shoot to show for it. I am beyond disappointed in this "company". They stole my money and now trying to get a hold of either of them is a joke. They preach "women empowerment" on their FB page and yet all they are out to do is take your money. Its sad that I can no longer support a local female owned and operated business. My best advice is do you research and find someone else. Read and listen to the many others before me who were taken advantage of by this company. I hope to get my money back but the chances of it are not likely.

I had been in Suzanne’s group on Facebook for over a year but had never booked a session. She came recommended to me by two of my closest friends and her talent is very apparent. When I got engaged, she was my first option.
I was able to reach out to her and received responses from her almost immediately with pricing. I paid, and scheduled our engagement session.
The day of, I reached out to her to double confirm and received a quick and enthusiastic response from her confirming. The only hiccup we had was my map taking me to the wrong location so we ended up being 25 minutes behind but Suzanne was able to work fast and efficiently. She recommended Mount Falcon for a location and it’s was beautiful!
My fiancé and I are normally not the best picture takers and can be very self conscious. She made it so easy and effortless by giving us great direction for posses. At the end she told be we could expect to see the photos in a gallery within 1-2 weeks. We received them a week to the day, and I am very happy with the photos.
I am hoping to convince her to take a trip to Banff, AB, Canada next year for our wedding! She was great!

She did an amazing job at our wedding in November 2019 and we highly recommend her!!! Her pictures turned out better than we could have ever imagined! Take it from us, USE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would never book with her again. Five months in and I still don’t have anything except less money. I used *** for a milestone birthday shoot for my daughter. I thought I was getting a great deal on a sale price but you know what they say - if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
We did a 1st birthday cake smash shoot in September of 2019 with a promised turnaround time of 2-3 weeks. We reviewed the timeline and chose a shoot date specifically with the goal to have photos back in time for her birthday in October.
It is now February 2020 and I still don’t have my photos. It has been one excuse after another. Some excuses I was open and understanding about (e.g., she had a baby in November and took time off for maternity leave - even though I should have received my pictures by the second week of Oct, I was still very polite and open to waiting because I still wanted these milestone photos, even if I couldn’t display them for her birthday).
Some excuses were more frustrating, unacceptable, and/or unprofessional and continued to string me along with hope I would eventually get the photos. For example, she broke a part of her hard drive before she could move photos to her computer. She had to wait for it to get fixed at Best Buy before she could get the photos off of it and a group of clients were affected. She had no other backup method (ok, I can understand the hard drive was the backup for her) but then she posted on her business page exactly how much money Geek Squad was charging her to fix it and that she couldn’t afford to pay them yet.
In addition, consistent FB posts by clients asking about the hard drive update and waiting for photos were met with some version of “not yet but hopefully soon!” or “just a few more weeks to get it back from Geek Squad!” After she got them back, she said there were over 100,000 photos jumbled together and no longer in folders that she now had to sort through. More time, more excuses.
In January 2020, I contacted her for an update (she never contacted me - I always had to ask for an update), and she said, “hopefully within the week, I’ll have them done.” That was five and a half weeks ago. I am being lied to. All the apologies and excuses in the world don’t make it ok - they are still lies that I’ll have my pictures soon when it’s been over five months and I have nothing. All this time, her business Facebook page is showing tons of new clients and new bookings she is taking in, without providing me with the product I paid for. She also posted that there’s group forming that’s trying to sue her for fraud (which I hadn’t known about until her post and am not involved in or part of) and posted that she won’t say anymore about it because she’s “already apologized over and over” - I guess she thinks apologizing via FB messenger or in a FB post to all her clients is enough, but that doesn’t actually resolve the issues.
A few other items of note. She has a D+ rating on Revdex.com with several closed complaints and you cannot leave a review on her FB “VIP photography“ business page - you have to post a comment which has to be approved by page admins before it will post. Just several things that are fishy. She has thousands of people in her VIP group (for the sales she runs) so I’m sure a lot of people who had bad experiences just cut their losses and leave the group since they can’t post a review, so all that’s left showing are good comments.
I wish I had known about these things ahead of time so I could have made a better decision. And I hope this helps someone else.
Overall, the sale price I paid was not worth the headache of this mess. Book her at your own risk. I’m sure not everyone has my experience but do you want to risk it for your wedding or special event and have your money stolen? There are so many great licensed and insured photographers out there. Find one of them.

As someone who usually hates pictures of myself, I can’t believe how good they turned out. I’ve struggled with body image my entire life so this was way out of my norm. Suzanne and her team are pros from start to finish. They make you feel comfortable in your own skin and beautiful. They found the best parts of me and helped me shine. I wanted a gift for my boyfriend that was really special. In some ways, I think I gained more from this experience. You’re in great hands… I highly recommend. It’s empowering and you’ll feel really proud of yourself after it’s finished. I say, take a deep breath, and go for it. You won’t regret the experience. So far I’ve had the magical experience of shooting with this amazing team 4 times and I fall in love with myself more each time.

Suzanne has changed my life. First of all, she’s an absolute sweetheart. She is a family lady and not ashamed of that. She’s dedicated and hardworking. She has made me feel so beautiful in so many ways! I highly recommend her and her company to everyone

Suzanne was an absolute dream to work with! Her and her amazing associates are hands down Some of the greatest people I’ve ever known. She is one of the hardest workers, so honest and kind, she is like a freaking fairy godmother! I’ve had 2 boudoir shoots, several portraits and our wedding done by Suzanne/associates. Every photo I got back was above and beyond anything I ever expected. Hire this amazing woman! She has become our forever photographer!

I've had sessions with Suzanne and Ashlie and they are amazing! Down to earth and real and I felt like family during my sessions. Hair and makeup by Ashlie is FLAWLESS! I literally had to stop myself from crying when I saw myself cause I couldn't believe it was me! My boudoir with Suzanne was fantastic, she encouraged and helped me feel comfortable the whole time. And when it came to family pictures, she went out of her way to make my angry two year old happy and got amazing pictures of us! I have many sessions bought and look forward to every one!

This is one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had. She promised me 5 photo shoots (1 maternity, newborn, 4 month, 8 month, and 12 month) and so far it has been nightmare to work with her. First of all, she scheduled my maternity shoot and then changed the time and location at the last minute. When I got to the shoot, the woman she had there to do my hair and makeup was yelling expletives at her husband on the phone in the next room in front of the children she had running around. Then it took well after I had my baby to get the photos (after messaging her multiple times). Then for the newborn shoot, she canceled at the last minute and rescheduled a really unpleasant "assistant" to come do the shoot. The woman she sent was in a rush and did not seem to know what she was doing. Most of the photos were poor quality and also took forever to get. So, at that point, I was frustrated but really just wanted to try to get some nice photos of my baby so I gave her another chance and insisted that she be the one to take the next set of photos since that's what I paid for. She scheduled to have the next set of photos taken today at 9am and it's almost 10 and I have heard nothing from her even though I have reached out multiple times. In sum, she is unprofessional and has no respect for other people's time. Don't trust her to take the photos you want to be able to treasure forever because you will be disappointed.

It's the exact same incident as other below who had a photo shoot in Auguat of 2019 but her hard drive was allegedly corrupted. Never received photos and to date no refund for the pre-paid sessions. This isn't just bad business practice, I believe its fraud. Will be seeking legal remedies to have her held accountable. Do not use this woman or her services.

I can not even begin to explain how grateful I am to have such an amazing photographer like Suzanne to capture all my precious life moments from milk baths, to milestone, breastfeeding, family, engagement and soon my WEDDING! For 10 years I was that single mother that had to wait for *** to have a sale so I could afford 5 prints of the same pose. Now because of Suzanne I get multiple poses that truly show the love and bond between me and my family. She has also become one of my dear friends all because she cared about me as her client! I HIGHLY recommend her. Her talent, kindness, and prices cannot be beat!

I absolutely love her work, her editing style is exactly the style I like. Suzanne is super sweet and very responsive

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to complain about my very poor experience with *** Nevill Photography. I booked *** to take newborn photos of my new baby. I thought I would have *** herself taking the photos, but her only availability was during work and school hours which did not work for my husband and stepson. I had paid for a lifestyle/newborn shoot which means that the entire family would be included, as well as the baby. Since *** was not available outside of work and school hours, I was told that an associate would have to take the photos and this person showed up to the shoot sick with the stomach flu. I felt this was very unprofessional considering we were trying primarily to get photos of the newborn with an undeveloped immune system. After the shoot, the associate told me the photos would take 6-8 weeks before they would be available to me, due to the need for editing. Since the shoot was done in mid-September, this plan was acceptable as I wanted to use the photos for Christmas cards. However, when I received the photos in a gallery on *** website exactly eight weeks after the shoot, I was extremely disappointed. I have no idea why it took eight weeks for the photos to be available to me because it was obvious that little or no editing was done. In one photo of just the baby, there was an adult’s hand visible in the upper left corner of the photo which was not cropped out. Also, after the shoot was completed, I immediately emailed *** to alert her to a small scratch on my two-year-old’s face so that it could be corrected. The scratch was still visible on his face when I saw the gallery of photos on Suzanne’s website. My stepson had blemishes on his face which should have been corrected. There were glares on my husband’s glasses which I think the photographer should have noticed was occurring during the shoot itself. Repositioning us would have taken care of this problem. There was only one family photo which was acceptable for our Christmas card. When I complained to *** about the poor quality of the photos, she replied with a cryptic email about taking care of the matter in the next week and immediately took down the gallery from her website before I could download the photos. This alarmed me as I had already paid for the photos and she gave me no clear idea of her intentions. More than three weeks went by and it became obvious to me that *** intended to keep both my money and my photos. Finally, a friend intervened and called *** and she agreed in the phone call to reinstate the photos and that a refund should be given. Within an hour, *** reinstated the gallery and although three weeks had passed since she took down the gallery, all the problems previously mentioned with the photos were still apparent. No editing or corrections had been done in three weeks. Nor have I received a refund or any communication from *** other than the reinstatement of the gallery. In addition, I have noticed that whenever a client is unhappy or makes a complaint to Suzanne, she has a very unprofessional habit of complaining about the client on social media without actually naming the person, which is very disconcerting. I also think that *** has a large and complicated family life which interferes with her work. *** gave birth to a new baby, but that was ten weeks after my photo shoot and should not have interfered with editing and corrections to my photos. I think she takes on too many assignments to do all the work involved with photography and then uses her family life as an excuse why it could not be done properly. I hope this letter will make *** realize how her unprofessional attitude made our holiday season more stressful than necessary as I never had the photos in time to create a proper Christmas card and I had to pay someone else to retake our family photos. Since a refund was promised, I think she should still honor it as I am still waiting for it. Also, I hope the Revdex.com rating for this business is appropriately lowered.

Client beware, DO NOT hire Suzanne Neville as your photographer.
I purchased a package in 2018, and started trying to schedule the shoot with her since January 2019. In this time, her communication left a lot to be desired and I often found out more information about her schedule and booking process by painstakingly combing through her Facebook group than she would have ever transparently offered to me. Had I not been a part of this group, home to drama and foul language and off topic discussion I’m not sure I would have ever been able to schedule. Finally 8 months later, I had my shoot in August.
I was instructed to follow her posts “in the group” for updates on where she was in her editing process.
I still do not have my photos.
Suzanne has not ONCE called emailed me to explain and set an expectation.
I found out through the group that her hard-drive had been dropped and it may have affected those who shot with her in late August.
She posted in a local photography group that she actually hadn’t backed up any of those shoots and the hard-drive was unrecoverable.
I found this out through a third party who is a member of both groups.
When I reached out to her after 3 months she told me I would have my photos and prints by Christmas latest.
Of course this was also lies and misdirection to buy her some time. Did she call or email to apologize and/or explain? No. All of our communication has unfortunately taken place through Facebook.
She let me know she would start offering refund for those affected and I have requested a refund twice which she has yet to fulfill. Another lie I’m afraid.
All this time she has been very unprofessionally sharing the chaos in her personal life and although I would like to extend some grace and understanding to her - nothing about your personal life is an excuse to defraud your clients out of their money and the moments they trusted you to capture.
I’m not sure what my next steps will be. Small claims court is an option, and I will certainly be reporting to the Revdex.com and posting this on every platform available. It is convenient that she operates from a Facebook “group” (not a business page) that doesn’t have a platform for reviews.
In the small amount of time since I have realized she is a fraud - I have shared this story in various local groups and found out that I am not the only one. In fact, this refusal to deliver images and/or refund isn’t an isolated incident. Several years ago she was forced to rebrand due to her poor business practices. She is trying to do the same thing now as she has just created a new group under a new name: “Fox & Willow Photography”
Beware!
“Suzanne Nevill”
“Suzanne Nevill Boudoir”
“Suzanne Nevill Photography VIP”

Unprofessional and disorganized. DO not prepay for sessions, it will be virtually impossible to actually schedule. Then when you finally do it will be with an associate who may or may not have been made aware of their schedule. I was rescheduled once, forgotten about another time until we were ON OUR WAY to the shoot with all 5 of us dressed and ready. I was promised "extras and freebies" as a consolation. Nothing was ever given except a passive aggressive attitude when I asked to have our photos back sooner since we had to end up shooting 3 weeks after originally assigned. I get it that things happen...but I was made to feel like a horrible, selfish person for just wanting what we originally paid for and scheduled. The associate that finally did take our pics was great. The whole thing was super unprofessional and I got SO tired of the excuses and making me feel horrible for just wanting to receive the product I paid for.

Suzzanne was wonderful! She was on time and did amazing work. She went above and beyond making sure my wedding day was perfect, thanks to her photos we have a life
Time to remember just how perfect this day way! I highly recommend her to everyone!

Suzanne is an absolutely extraordinary photographer. My experiences with her have all been top notch. Suzanne photographed my maternity session about a year and a half ago, after that I knew she would be my photographer for life! The photos turned out incredible she blew all my expectations out of the water! Since then, I've had Suzanne take my fresh 48, extended family and boudoir photos. Her pictures tell stories--she has captured moments in our family that we will cherish forever. She has a true artist's eye--I keep looking at all the pictures she's taken and am in awe of the thoughtfulness--and tenderness--of how she has captured our lives. We are grateful we found her! Also--she's an incredible person, genuine and always so wonderful to work with. We will look forward to having her capture more of our families moments throughout the years to come!

Similar to the *** below. I had another really not so pleasant experience with ***.
The 1 star is actually for her associate *** because *** was a pleasure to work with.
I originally reached out at the beginning of September to get my boudoir session scheduled. I had another session fall through with another photographer for simple reasons, I couldn’t afford it. When I emailed *** I received response right away. Actually multiple responses back to back. It was like we were chatting on IM it was so fast. I was actually in Miami for a work trip and wasn’t responding quickly enough so I received multiple messages making sure I got the contract.
When I booked we agreed to $500. $400 for the shoot and an extra $100 so that I could bring all 6 outfits I had previously purchased AND more time to be able to shoot in those outfits.
Let’s keep in mind this is WAY out of my comfort zone. I personally never found myself to be as “sexy” as my husband always told me so I wanted to do this for both me and him (our anniversary was in August - so this was already late due to the other photographer falling through).
My shoot comes and I sat in a waiting room to get my hair and makeup done. I didn’t realize I was just one of five or six doing their shoots in the same day. I was hoping for a really awesome self love experience but didn’t really get that cause I was just another number added to the $$ list. I did truly love my hair and makeup. I met *** and she asked me how many outfits I had and I said 6 and her eyes about popped out of her head. She’s like “you don’t have a longer session.” I told her I paid *** an extra $100 and that I have the 6 with me and she looked sick to her stomach and said “I’m so sorry. We are really going to have to rush for this session”. She already looked tired and beat as I was the last session of the day.
So while waiting for her other girls to get done, I decided to cut back to 4 outfits in my 45 minute session (which is the regular session timeframe and I didn’t get extra time so *** got extra money out of me).
*** was great. She made me feel comfortable and she did a good job. Again she is the reason for the 1 star I’m actually giving.
*** told me after the shoot that she was going to be having weight loss surgery, sorry to put it on blast but it’s necessary for this review. I told her I was happy for her and that I hope that she gets better as soon as possible and can spend some time with her family.
The SAME night of my shoot I get an email from ***, she said OMG *** YOU LOOK AMAZING. Or something to that extent. Asked me if I needed my pictures by a certain date, I said no cause they were already late for my anniversary gift and then asked how long it was going to take to process. She told me 5-6 weeks. I also told her about having to cut my outfits down because she didn’t schedule more time and she said nothing back with that regard. She apparently didn’t care, I already paid and already finished the shoot.
Week 4 comes, I was getting excited so I emailed *** for an update hoping maybe they are done early. No response.
Week 5, following up. I get a note saying that 1. My email was looking weird and that she didn’t know if it was her system or mine and 2. she never received all of my photos (okay then how did I get a message saying I looked amazing the night of? Was that just a lie?) and that *** had emergency surgery and never got them to her in a timely matter (um, *** told me she was having weight loss surgery..... another lie?). So she really seemed like she was blaming an associate for the lack of time management she had here? Maybe?
Anyway she told me by the end of week 6. So, I follow back up. This time she tells me again there are email problems and she writes to me in an email with no subject line stating she can’t reply to our previous thread. Her new excuse was that she was about to go on maternity leave (yes she really did have a baby and yes I really am happy for her with that). So then she told me I would have them before Thanksgiving (which would have been almost week 10).
I was getting so frustrated. Did she even have my pictures? She said she was having hard drive issues on FB. Did she even see my pictures? She said she did the day of but I don’t believe that anymore. Did she really have email issues? Or just an excuse to not email me on time?
So another update on FB goes out about sessions that are hitting inboxes that happened AFTER mine. So I comment on the post, “what about boudoir?” I get an email IMMEDIATELY stating “I was her missing girl”. Missing girl?! Really?! We had been emailing back and forth a million times and I was the missing girl?? She even replied to that no subject line email I told you about earlier. She didn’t even know who I was?! I took vulnerable pictures and I was a nobody.
I wasn’t even excited to see the photos anymore. I was so sick to my stomach and upset that I was just either put off or she had this predisposition on not liking me so she went on this route of “customer service”.
To this day I still don’t have a download link on my gallery. Screenshots will make all of the photos look really blurry and distorted and I want to give them to my husband for Christmas and I still have yet to receive any email response from *** about not being about to download. It is December 15. My shoot was on September 21.
I’m so upset with this experience. I hope that this doesn’t happen to others. Although, I had a close friend tell me, who had her shoot her wedding in July, that she still didn’t have her full gallery until November. So I’ll let you decide here.
I’m not one to be so passive aggressive but ***, if you can’t work everything you promise to work and deliver on time and don’t have the bandwidth between you, your growing family, and associates. Stop biting off more than you can chew. You’re going to wear yourself down very fast.

Me and my husband just got married yesterday and from the beginning of our planning to now Suzanne has been amazing. She has a wonderful team behind her and we are both thrilled that we booked her. We had her associate Nikki as our photographer on the big day and she was perfect from start to finish. If you need photos done for any occasion please do not hesitate and go ahead and book with Suzanne.
