S.W.A.T. Plumbing Reviews (28)

SWAT HAS MADE CONTACT WITH CUSTOMERS AND HAS SENT THE EXCAVATION COMPANY BACK OUT TO CLEAN UP PER CUSTOMERS REQUEST AND SWAT IS DOING WHAT IS NEEDED TO RESOLVE THE CUSTOMERS COMPLAINT.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

We are sorry to hear of your frustration. At this time, we have received contradicting information from you and the plumber. Our understanding is that when the initial repair was made, you had requested us to leave the trench open, as you were going to have a family member replace your water line....

After a month of being exposed to rain and elements, you then called back stating that you did not have the water line replaced and were wanting back fill, but were also now having new issues. This is common when pipes are left open to rain and acts of God. We did return to evaluate the the issue. At which point we did re-repair the issue. During the process, a water line was damaged, and it is my understanding that this was repaired along with the sanitary line. We will be happy to send a supervisor out to re-evaluate the issue and move forward from there. Thank you.

We did a slab leak 2 years ago and we rerouted the line and I. 10 years or service the rules stand we don’t do sheet rock and I argued this with them forever and during the argument after the slab leak was performed trash had got Into the line causing the shower valve to leak due to the leak she...

had allowing dirt to get into the line. I sent a Plumber over there as a curtious and showed her where our contract states faucets clogged due to slab leaks it will be a additional cost we then parted ways with the job being done  then a few months later her dad coMes to visit and starts in on the patches in the Sheetrock after we had settled everything. So we explained again and the homeowner told me I Left my sunglasses and went by and pick them up And that is the last I heard.  So like last time it arises again I was not there to repair the shower valve we repaired a slab leak and a Plumber asking why so many holes obviously don’t know how to perform a slab leak it takes 2 min we had 3 cause the shower head was braced and we had to fish down behind it so there were no unused holes. I already fixed the valve once for free I am not paying her back money for something we never got paid to do and a contract she signed stating the Sheetrock will be put Back and as far as her invoice that states it it would like to see it. Thanks and if you have More questions let know.   S.W.A.T. Plumbing llc  [redacted]  President [redacted]

S.W.A.T. Plumbing did make contact with the homeowner to schedule, and after the appt. was set we never made contact with him on the call to inform him that the tech was in route. Then when the tech arrived he called from his phone which is recorded still no answer. We always send our techs due to...

if we didn’t the wife, son ,or someone would have been there waiting on us. As far as the money part of it we did not collect any money from the guy we have never seen the home owner he paid his home warranty company the 75.00 for his deductible. All we do is report what we did to the home warranty and they make the decision if they return the money or not I have no involvement in that. Thanks and let me know If there is anything I can do.

[redacted] told me via phone call that he had sent a $90.00 to me on June 30th. I have not received it. To be clear, I suggested $90.00 because that is half of the bill. [redacted] and SWAT did do the work and should be paid for labor and parts.  I contacted my credit card company because I had left messages for [redacted] that had not been returned. It didn't appear SWAT and [redacted] were going to stand behind their work. [redacted] returned my calls after I posted a negative post on the company Facebook page. At his request, I apologized and deleted the negative post. [redacted] and his company did the work. I was not happy, pleased or satisfied with the final work.  [redacted] came out to check for water leaks on June 13th at the request of Foundation Dynamics.  [redacted] told me on that day that the tub valve would have to be replaced. On the 15th, [redacted] returned to install a new tub spout. I waited until June 18th to use the tub to allow the caulking to dry and set.  It was at this time I noticed the water spraying out of the tub spout and not pouring out of the tub spout. I called SWAT and asked to have [redacted] return to fix the issue. [redacted] returned and installed a tub spout he said he bought a Home Depot. The new tub spout had a shower diffuser on the top of it. I have a shower valve coming out of my wall so I wasn't sure why I needed 2 shower controls. [redacted] told me if the wall unit stops working, I have a shower control on the spout. [redacted] is a plumber. I am not. I trusted his insight and opinion as a professional plumber. After a few days, I called SWAT to report the same issue. I asked for a different plumber. My thinking was that a different said of eyes might find something different. [redacted] came out to address the issue. I showed him the spout as it sprayed water into the tub. [redacted] told me there was nothing they could do and to call [redacted] and ask for my money back. I showed [redacted] a different tub spout in another bathroom that was not spraying like the one SWAT had installed. [redacted] told me corrosion from the original tub spout could've been why the water didn't spray before. I asked him why would [redacted] install a tub spout with a shower control when I already have a functioning wall control. [redacted] had no explanation. To be clear, [redacted] came to my home once to do the leak test at the request of Foundation Dynamics. He returned to install a new tub spout he determined was broken. He then returned with a tub spout purchased at Home Depot with a shower control.  [redacted] worked on my tub spout issue twice. [redacted] came to my home once, did no work and advised me to ask [redacted] for a refund for the work because I wasn't happy with the functioning of the tub spout. After [redacted] left, on June 26th I called [redacted].  [redacted] requested a conference call with [redacted], [redacted], myself and him on the June 29.th at 10:00am. I asked if we could do the conference call at that time. [redacted] told me he had other pressing  business matters to attend to. (I am a customer who is not satisfied with the completed work. Why should I be pushed aside ? I called at the time he had requested yet he wasn't available at the designated time he had set aside.  The work completed by SWAT is work that is under warranty. My argument was and still is either stand behind the workmanship of SWAT plumbing or offer me a refund. [redacted] clearly does not want to do either. According to [redacted],  I have chased off 2 other plumbing companies and owe them a significant amount of money.  That is a blatant lie. I do not owe any plumbers any amount of money. I would like the charges of libel and slander added to the complaint. I would've been satisfied with a $90.00 refund.

I do apologize for the delayed response, however we were trying to get an understanding of the issue. It appears that there were additional issues in the home related to corrosion, causing our original repair to fail. We repaired the additional items/issues at...

no additional cost to you. Again, I do apologize for any inconvenience.  I hope that you will keep us in mind for any future service. We do value your business.

I am rejecting this response because: The information given is again untrue.  I work from home 3 out of 5 days a week and home on weekends. There are no time constraints. I was told multiple times that someone would come out to my home and multiple times, no one showed up. I also called and left a voicemail for the statement to be sent to my email since the company had such a hard time sending someone out. I did finally receive an emailed statement once the restoration company got involved and requested it themselves. It still does not show the cost of the pipes not covered by insurance.Another company came to repair the disposal today and stated the lines were disconnected by the plumber which caused the disposal not to work. The invoice states:     "Checked and found wire to disposal disconnected under cabinets from plumbers running new pipes to dishwasher and didn't hook power back up. Sleeved wire through cabinets."Therefore, the disposal was not a "coincidence" and was in fact a fault of the plumbers. I paid another $100 to have this error fixed. I appreciate the military discount given for services but that is not the point. We had a horrible experience with the company despite speaking with management (Kim and Steve) on numerous occasions and being told that we would be taken care of when that as not the case.
