They did not install the oil drain plug correctly on my vehicle.
On 11/28/2018 I went in for an oil change at Take 5. They operated on my vehicle installing my own oil I paid for which was 10 quarts of Royal Purple which cost me about $80.00. The car began to leak oil horribly on 12/23/2018 and I took it into the dealership and they advised that the oil drain plug was not present. I contacted take 5 and they conducted the claims process and stated that my claim was denied because it was not their fault. They installed the drain plug improperly causing my engine to be damaged and now it needs repairs. They will not own up to their mistake and I do not have money to get an attorney to fight the $10,000 I have to pay to replace my engine so now I have to come up with means to fix what they did wrong because they do not want to own up to what they did. I have never had an issue with them in the past and I took both of my vehicles here but never again. They have truly shown their true colors. No one should ever come here if you want your vehicle to remain in tip top condition.
I would love for the business to own up to what they did and pay for the damages done to my vehicle by them.
Vehicle was serviced on 11/28 The shop manger personally serviced this and installed the plug this plug had a gasket around it which holds the plug in then clicks once secure. customer drove the vehicle over 2000 miles with no issues and our warranty policy clearly states 30 days or 1000 miles. I personally went to inspect the vehicle at the dealership in good faith and the dealership cranked the car fine and drove it into the shop with no oil which may have acutely damaged the car. during inspection of the vehicle it was notated that the tamper seal which we put on plugs to verify that it has not been tampered with was broke and mostly gone indicating the plug was removed, I had the dealership bring a new plug out and once placed in the plug it did not securely fit in the oil pan it wiggled up down left and right which is an indication that the plastic drain pan may had been over heated from intense driving or was defective. also upon further inspection the car had numerous racing decals on it sik.edition performance which was connected to his you tube and Instagram account showing him doing burn outs with the car days before the oil change which may be another cause for the engine trouble if the car has been abused please see link to the customers vehicle and videos *** The car was already out of our warranty and the tamper seal was messed with and the plug did not secure which was verified by a certified tech from frisco ford that that was not normal.
Hello, the business response regarding complaint ID number in the subject line I find unsatisfactory.
I have had the car inspected by ford as well as another ford dealer. The tamper seal that Take 5 used was defective hence the reason why the oil slowly drained from the vehicle ultimately causing all the oil in which I paid $80 for drained all out.
They have been utterly unprofessional in them trying to come up with a million excuses in why it was not them and how it was something else when technicians have explained to them over and over again that the drain plug was not on.
Ford placed oil and a drain plug and I have driven my car and it has not leaked oil and the plug has not come loose whatsoever.
So again, Take 5 is trying to pass the buck instead of handling and following up to how they could've possibly issued and installed a defective drain plug. They were not trying to make their problem correct and for that reason I will continue to preach never going to Take 5 due to this issue and after being a customer for 2 years and sending many people their way. The umpteen individuals I have sent their way have all redirected their business elsewhere due to their unprofessionalism.

I went to get my vehicle inspected and the rude individuals by the name of Mike, who claimed to be the supervisor in charge, with absolutely no people skills. It first started when he was guiding me to pull my vehicle forward and raising his voice at me which I did not appreciate him talking to me like that. When I addressed it with him, he did not like it and threatened me to leave or he would call the police. I was terribly offended because I did not deserve that kind of treatment. I will take my business elsewhere. He then called a so called 'Manager? Mark who had left for the day and came back, but absolutely did nothing to assist me, but laughed in my face. What scummy, unprofessional individuals they hire. I asked for the name of his District Manager who he called 'Johhny? probably a made up name and said that he could not give me his number and that he would have him call me to no avail. It's been 3 weeks and I have not heard back from anyone. I need to address this concern that is bothering me. I want a higher power person in management to all me ASAP.
