Thanks for contacting Target on behalf of our guest [redacted] I’m very sorry to hear that she had difficulty when trying to place a recent orderShopping on Target.com is supposed to be fun and easy and clearly this wasn’t the case It saddens me to hear that when she called to get help she feels that the team member wasn’t familiar with the situation and wasn’t helpfulThe guest service experience she described isn’t part of our guest service philosophy, and I’ll personally follow up with our team members as well as their leaders to ensure they’re familiar with the processes and policies Target has in place Target recently changed our ordering platform so I’m not sure if that caused the issuedWhen guests have a Target.com account our system automatically saves the payment method to their accountAs a result it saves them time on checking outIt’s possible that the default payment method may have been expired which is why she encountered the errorHowever, she has removed all the payment methods so I’m unable to confirm this or notOur team members attempt to help our guest’s trouble shoot online shopping issuesThe typical steps are to clear browsing data and also try a different browserSince the guest had already done those steps the next step would’ve been to try to enter in the payment method again on the order, hence why she may have been asked for that informationTarget is also a PCI compliant company and takes our data security very seriouslyI’ve requested that our technical team pull the back end data to determine what was causing the error, but with the payment methods being removed they may not be able to find anythingAs always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guestsIf you have further questions, feel free to contact Target.com at ###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because:When I called Target for the return authorization and requested a prepaid return shipping label I was not informed I would be liable for any loss during the interim while in possession of the companies that Target hired for shipping; otherwise I would have returned the rings to a store if I was made aware of that option I have scoured the internet, visited several Post Offices and phoned multiple levels of the United States Postal Service in attempt to file a claim but they remain adamant that Target must file the claim since they paid for the shipping service Attached is a letter from the USPS confirming the box weighed more when I shipped it back than when Target received it and process the appropriate claim please? If this is the case, Why was I still able to pre-order the game online? They were falsely advertising that they still had the game available for pre-orderFurthermore, this qualifies as misleading and dishonest business practices because they sent me a confirmation email and had waited months before notifying me that my order was canceledFurthermore, when I inquired with Sarah about why it was my order that was canceled and if there was a particular reasoning behind it she stated, "There was no rhyme or reason as to why your order was canceledThere were other orders affected by the same technical error but I don't have an exact number." Target will not even give me a straight answer as to why it was my order that was canceled, just that it happened and others were affected by it as wellThis is just another example of misleading and dishonest business practices being performed by Target in this issueIn the same email I had asked Sarah if Target would be reaching out to the manufacturer, try explaining the situation they are in, and asking to receive additional copiesSarah responded with, "At this time Target won't be reaching out to the manufacturer to request more of the Fallout 4: Pip-boy Edition game." With that said they did not address issues.1)I originally ordered packs with the promotions of $off $and free $gift cards my final cost for the packs would have been less then $60.002)Target canceled order and decided to send me packs of paper towels that I did not order as well as gift cards where they charged me for them.3)This company has not apologized for any of this.4)They stated they called but left no message or anyway for me to contact them without calling a call center where the people in some of country has about the same low/no customer service as the person that responded to this Revdex.com Complaint.5)Target did not explain why they charged me for gift cards that I did not order and were part of the promotion for what I had ordered and did not receive

I am rejecting this response because: the attached emails clearly show Target telling me this item potentially may not be received on timeI thought the pscards were delivered in the mallI woke up to an e-mail showing item delayed and with limited time of black Friday sales, we bought more cards that are also non-refundableIf these cards were e cards, WHY would they even be delayed? I want a refund OR a gift card to Target to compensate for the loss of double purchasing these cards

I am rejecting this response because:The representative didnt mention the whole conversation I had.She mentioned that Target couldnt find the product at any other storeI was able to find it and I informed her that of those units available at Target Store Madison WestI even agreed to drive 2+ hours and go pick them upI requested to have them on hold as I cant go this weekend and I will go next weekend as it requires almost my hald day away from work to drive there and pick up the items.She called me back and agreed that there are items available in that store but she cant put them on hold as they are on clearanceI offered to charge my Credit card, Or I can go to local store and pay for itBut she still refused to keep items on hold.She offered me $Target Gift Card.Target's Employee Negligence costed me $of loss and they are compensating only $?I didnt agree to this resolutionI as a customer took further step to drive 2+ hours and pickup the item but Target didnt help.Later I sent an email that I can probably agree with $of Target Gift Card as a compensation and Target should try again to put items on hold for me at the specific store I mentioned
