Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does in part satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] The business in question has not fully addressed the fact that due to their negligence and incomplete diagnosis and repair of my vehicle, my family's well being was put in jeopardy, our vacation to Disney was interrupted and delayed, and in order to proceed on we wound up having to buy a NEW VEHICLE, thereby loosing equity in our old vehicle and causing undue out of pocket expensesCoupled with the fact that they produced documentation as to the repairs done, and attempted to fabricate a claim that the vehicle in question had previous electrical issues that contributed to the breakdown of the vehicleRefunding the money for a parts and labor that DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM is the least they could do Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concernMy name is [redacted] The General Manager of the PreOwned Factory's and I would like to address the issues [redacted] had with her [redacted] First of all we hate to hear that any of our customers have issues with some of the older higher mileage vehicles that we sell and offer a day mile powertrain and safety warranty with regardless of mileage or agebelieve me if we had a crystal ball and could predict that [redacted] was going to have an issue months and miles after she purchased the vehicle we certainly would not have sold her or anyone the vehicleI have looked into the service records on this vehicle and it seems that [redacted] hasn't been back to the dealership with any complaints, for that matter not even an oil change, since she purchased itWe weren't even made aware of the transmission problem until she had already had it repaired at another facilityThe [redacted] was clearly out of the day warranty but had [redacted] called us and brought it to our service department we probably could have helped her out as we often do with our customersBut because we didn't have a chance to inspect the damage or ascertain how it was damaged im sure you understand that unfortunately we will not be able to offer any assistance at this timeThe state mandated day warranty is put in place to protect both the consumer and the dealer as we could not possibly afford to warranty used vehicles foreverIf this had occurred during the day period we would have stepped up and taken care of the issueI am truly sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you and you family.Thank You [redacted]

As far as [redacted] , the salesperson and the F & I Manager who took care of this customer are both no longer here His Warranty should have been cancelled by the F & I Manager All warranty monies are sent back to the bank and taken off the principle All warranties are pro-rated so he would not be getting the full amount of his package returned He would not be getting a check either Most people don’t understand that He should check with his bank

We are currently looking into his concern[redacted] , Service Director, will be in contact with the customer

The customer's name has been removed from all mailing lists
