Our refund policy states that if our service was purchased directly from us, our fees are refundable within daysFor this member the day window has passed, however because we pride ourselves on our customer service a refund for this membership has already been processed

The Customer Advocacy Manager spoke with this member and provided her with the telephone number she needs to call to clear up issues regarding verifying her current membershipMany attempts have been made to reach out to this member to resolve her issues, but our Membership Service Representatives have not received a return call yetThere may be difficulties with her contact information that need to be resolvedShe was also provided with the manager’s direct number should she need further assistance

The Member never provided any usable documentation to defend his return and the forms and schedules that are under auditThere were many attempts by many tax professionals to obtain the required documentation to support his deductions that the IRS is questioningHe was given one last chance to send the required and requested organized documents, but all he sent was a spreadsheet with1,line entries for bank expenses (e.g“ [redacted] debit card for general merchandise for $53.48” and “ [redacted] for child\dependent expenses” and “ [redacted] for gas\fuel”) and a mileage log with no starting odometer reading or ending reading, for who he met—he listed “client” and all travel was miles from his home to the same location so it reads as commuteThe Outside Representative, [redacted] ***, met with him twice and received no documentation to back up the entries on the spreadsheetSpreadsheets alone are never adequate for an audit and the taxpayer did not provide the requested and required supporting documentationAs a sign of continued effort to assist him, we will refund all his current and past membershipsWe have worked diligently on his case for four months with no help from the MemberHe has to help us help himWithout any cooperation from him, he is stopping us from helping himThank you for your time and consideration in this matter.Sent on: 8/24/6:14:PMSent by: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: yes the business called me After I called in more times and spoke with management Not sure why they say they're proyd of their response time hrs is quite pathetic

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is somewhat satisfactory to meIt's not really up to this business to decide when the case is to be considered closedThey have done almost nothing to correct the deficiency and incompetence in their partI had paid $7,to the attorney to get my tax bill reduced - the same outcome that this taxaudit.com company was supposed to achieve for me - which they didn'tJust refunding $doesn't make any difference to meI am closing this case only because I believe that wasting any of my valuable time with this company is completely fruitless!!! Also, be assured that I will leave no stone unturned to spread a word about my negative experience with this company

I am rejecting this response because:i am really appalled at the brazen bold face nerve of this company! Their service for which I paid was to attend with me if I am called in to the IRS, which they refused to do as stated in my complaint; now their excuse is that they didn't attend and I didn't tell them what happened after the fact when they didn't attend!! (I will in court filings) although I really shouldn't be surprised, this in my opinion is just part two of the probability scam they are running; what does it hurt to call the customer after screwing them over, there is always a chance that the customer resolved the issue on their own and then they can claim "see, it all worked out like we thought it would!" And if not, then they were going to get sued anyway and maybe they can trick the judge by saying, "hey we really cared and tried but he wouldn't talk to us....after the fact"it's like paying for hurricane insurance, and when the hurricane hits the insurance company refuses to pay out then have the nerve to call you a month later and asking how your reconstruction is going?!

I am rejecting this response because: I spoke with *** yesterday and she apologized and offered me another year of service Not interested in the offer or any services provided by TaxAudit.comI have schedule availability I am not available during the times that my assigned reps worked which was I believe midnight to 4am PST *** admitted that my case should not have been assigned to reps with that particular schedule and that the handling of my case was apparently not how they do business

I am rejecting this response because:Unacceptable response as I had expected!! The work that my tax attorney had done in two weeks and obtained the results should have been done by taxaudit.comThis is what they get paid forAnd the tax attorney's fees can't be directly compared to the amount we pay to this businessThe average odds of getting audited by IRS is less than 1% so basically the business collects times more than what I pad them ($X 100) to work on one case - which is about the same fees the attorney charges to work on one case on an averageSo there should not be any excuse about the work loadThe delay on my case was caused mostly by their representative and it was unnecessary and unjustifiedThey basically sat on my case for four months and let the interest accumulateIdeally, the business has the responsibility to pay me the amount the attorney charged me to do the work the taxaudit.com should have already doneAlso, there is no excuse to be unprofessional to the clients and refusing to take their calls and responding to the emails in timely fashion

A full refund has been processed per this member’s requestWe consider this case to be fully resolved

I am rejecting this response because:I provided every task that they sent to me, within the timeframe that was allocatedThey never mentioned once that I needed to provide a receipt upon the bank statements that I provided and categorized based on their requestThis "Bill Brush" guy was extremely condescending and often times vulgar, telling me really sick jokes, that only a elder man may getVery disturbing and unprofessionalAside from that, the mileage log template was filled out based on the template they provided meI drove '8' miles to work every dayWhy is this a concern? This is the kind of feedback that I getThis company is an absolute joke and complete waste of timeAgain, I am wasting more time having to report them to the Revdex.comInsanity

The member was not satisfied with our initial response, so we called and offered again to try to assist him, and the member refused our help

This
member had an inadvertent entry on her CA tax return. In talking with her
on October 29, 2015, she clearly understands the problem with the entry. She
stated she wants to remove her complaint. We offered to contact the
software company for her that makes this tax program
but she stated she does
not feel she needs any other assistance with the software issue. We
provided the email address for Revdex.com for her, per her request.She
originally also requested a copy of the data tax file (the software generated
tax return) from us as the tax software company had provided it to us with her
signed permission to address the audit issue. Due to the information found
on a tax form (e.gSSNs, addresses, W-2s) our consent form for the use of the
return states that we, “…will use your information only to provide audit
representation services.” Members have the clear rights and ability to
contact the software company to request a copy. We have helped other
members that have requested we contact the software company on their behalf,
but the member did not request this. She no longer was requesting a refund of the fees paid

Please post the following response to this member: Our Customer Advocacy Department spoke with this member todayWe reviewed the issues at hand and explained that the refund is being processedWe received the request for refund on 3/6/and processed it the same dayThe member will be getting a refund check as soon as we can get it issued and sent out to himThere were no other specific issues to be resolved. *** *** EA LTC

I am rejecting this response because: no where in their offer on Turbotax do they say that they will appear with you ONLY if you get them a certified letterThey admit that they can not say it is not an audit, they keep saying that they don't know, but they say that if it was then I should have no contact with the IRS?!?! So how do you reconcile those two things? Go to your appointment alone, but if it turns out it was an audit then you shouldn't have gone without us!!! It's ridiculous (what is the customer expected to do, run out of the building if it turns out to be an audit or plead the 5th?!)When they last called me, they went through the whole line claiming that they can't appear there in my place without a power of attorney so I said I would give them that, so then they said, oh but we can't go alone without a letter so I said I would go with them and if it turns out it's not an audit, then their person would simply leave, after a pause they lady claiming to be their "consumer advocate" told me the one and only true thing they have said thus far; she said "Yes, we can do that...but that is not what we are going to do!"So when I say it's a scam in my opinion; I am validated by the fact that they can in fact do what their selling offer says they can and will do BUT they don't want to do it for financial reasons; they want the written letter and the agents name not because they law requires them to have that but rather because if the customer forces them to act, they can save money but just making a call to the agent and then saying to the customer "see, we tried but couldn't do anything, good luck"this is a probabilities scam; people buy this service as a rainy day insurance and I doubt that many will buy that insurance if they find out that it covers only very specific; undisclosed, narrow sized types of rain!
