After reaching out to the store in Taneytown, MD to see what steps had been taken to get this issue resolved ,TCC discovered the manager who originally assisted [redacted] , no longer works at this locationAlso, the promotion details were disclosed to the customer via phone, stating that the free Gear Vr was a first come first serve itemOnce this issue reached the corporate office, we were able to have Samsung send us a Gear VR to the corporate office for the customerTCC customer care has reached out to the customer on 02/23/and notified him that we will be sending his Gear Vr to the address that he provided over the phoneCustomer was satisfied with this resolution Regards, TCC

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.a couple errors are in the company's reply:1) the store manager was there when original complaint was filed against Taneytown store..at least weeks2) the promotional details were NOT explained to me by phone...when I was in the store to order phone, I was told face-to-face that a Gear VR would be held back for me AND when the phone came in, I went into store same day and was told that the associate FORGOT to put one back for mealso...the Taneytown store has been allowed to get off scott free...I no longer trust them and hence my original request for $gift card to store (and the fact it has been months since original date of complaint

The supervisor respectfully called *** and told her that Modesto Junk would not be considered a local recycling center for TurlockWhich is to miles away from our facility. The supervisor did tell her we will honor $this one time but she was not happy with that decision

rejecting this response because:  They business is lying.  When they contacted me, they were very argumentative, rude and informed me they ONLY would honor "in Turlock" competitor's coupons--that a "local competitor means ONLY WITHIN THE TOWN OF TURLOCK!"  They went on to say that that is what their lawyer declared when he ok'd the advertisement--"only valid on competitors coupons from within the town of Turlock" however that IS NOT what their advertisement says.  Their response does not make sense as they claimed within the written response to you that Modesto Junk is 25 - 30 miles away" which is an outright falsehood allegedly being perpetrated to get out of this complaint!  Modesto Junk is located on the outer edge of Modesto towards Ceres; and the center of Modesto is only 15 miles from Turlock so Modesto Junk is 15 miles or less away!  They need to take a drive and clock the mileage as well as stop making false written assertions that simply are untrue. They never made the assertion to me that Modesto Junk was 25 - 30 miles away because they it simply is a lie!  They did not say they would honor the coupons and only finally tried to attempt to give me the money after arguing and informing me what they lawyer declared.  I finally informed them I was going to pursue this matter since they had been so rude, argumentative and professed false assertions thus ended the unprofessional conversation.   Their advertisement is simply a falsehood used as a ruse to entice customers into bringing recyclables to their company.  My family who was with me during the recycling was absolutely stunned at Go Green Recycling's blatant refusal to honor their own advertisement and Modesto Junk's coupon; and instantly realized they were cheating us out of monies due.
