Team Electric, Plumbing and Air Reviews (25)

All of the members of the team were great. They worked from 9am to 10pm to get the systems up and running for the night. Even reran some of the duct work that was not the way I had requested. Can't imagine any crew being better than Tom, Brian, Joe and Pex.

Review: This company was hired to repair a leaking well water pump. They estimated the cost to be around $4600. They replaced the whole water softener system, which fixed the leak but after less than 72 hours no water was being pumped to the house. The technician came back out, and told us it was the well itself. But the well worked fine before, it was just a leaking pump. Another well technician came out and that's when we found out the first technician wasn't licensed to repair/install the water softener system, to include the well pump from the beginning. Additional the second technician informed us the total repair doesn't cost nearly as much as the first estimate. We asked the original company for a itemized receipt for the $4600 estimate but we are getting delays.Desired Settlement: I agree we should pay the actual price of the parts but not anything else. Because the original technician wasn't licensed or trained to do the repairs. And because we now have to pay the second technician $500, $900 if he has to replace the well pump again.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Team Electric, Plumbing and Air re-wrote the contract, only charging us for the parts and not the labor.

Review: I hired them to install a furnace. Several days later, the house wouldn't reach comfortable temperature. I notified them about the issue, they sent out master plumber by the name of jason to look over the installation. He measured all of my baseboards to the size of the furnace and it was determined that the furce they installed was under sized for the house. Jason told me that he would talk to his manager to determine if they were going to put in the right size. Shortly after, I was notified by his boss, who told me that they wouldn't size it properly and needed to talk it over with his colleagues. I feel that this company should have done the job properly from the beginning and instead took short cuts to make money. I paid almost $6000 for the furnace and water heater . And it's not heating my house properly . Sir or Maam my children are often cold, and cry and constantly get sick because of this company's negligence to do their job. These people should be held accountable for their actions. They treated me and my family like we were the ones at fault. General manager told me that he had to talk it over with his colleagues to consider in installing the proper size furnace. I don't trust them. We are cold in the house and my children always ask if it going to get warmer daddy. And I, begin to cry because I don't have and answer for them. Please help us in this matter. Sincerely. [redacted]Desired Settlement: Install the right size furnace to include all materials parts and labor.

Most unprofessional company that I have ever dealt with. I had an appoint last night at 6-7pm and no one came so I called several times to ask if the technician was actually coming. The after hours call center informed me several times the technician would be calling after I hung up. NO BODY CALLED ME BACK. Then I get a call in the morning saying that they had some big job or whatever. Why do does a company set up an appointment, when they are not going to come?? Thanks for wasting my time

This company overcharges for replacing a $65 part in a furnace.

The diagnostics charge was $89.00. Found out the igniter for the gas furnace needs to be replace. A igniter part cost anywhere between $30 to $69 in Home Depot.

I was charged:

$89 for diagnostics

$323.12 for the service to replace the igniter and labor which is very simple to replace.

Totaling with sales taxes is $441.98.

I negotiated to drop the diagnostic charge since like most companies will if homeowner decides to go ahead with the repair. They did but the final price was still $345.74. That is over 530% of the part cost.

The price seem to be marked up based on your emergency. The temperature was dropping during the winter and you need heat in the house.

This is insane.
