didn't work and they did not respond
paid for a year subscriptions to the product, it never worked and they never responded to any of my contacts and couldn't get through on the phone so I finally had to file a complaint with PayPal, which they DID NOT respond to either so PayPal refunded my money, not here we are months later and they finally contact me to say I owe them for this or it will be turned over to collections in days, where were you when I told you it didn't work and I needed help, ridiculous service and support

Teamviewer has been holding $of mine without providing any product or service- for yearsDespite numerous emails- they refuse to return my $
Several years ago I signed up for a 7day trial of Teamviewer corporate servicesI decided to go ahead and purchase and Teamviewer (TV) agreed to take a partial payment to start service No license was ever activated, or been used I was hospitalized shortly thereafter, had some financial issues as a result, and wrote TV to inform them that I wouldn't be able to pay the remainder of the balance- and please cancel my order, and refund my money, as no service was ever provided Here is a copy and paste of some email correspondence:

I called TeamViewer in October of last year and asked for a quoteI got billed for it and got sent to collections
Just like the previous complaints, I called TeamViewer in approximately October of 2017, to get a quote on their premium serviceI got billed on Oct.25th, Invoice number *** for $CADI NEVER agreed to pay for thisThis got sent to collections and I got a VERY rude Larry M calling me today telling me this is going on my credit reportHe actually called me stupid for not paying this and told me not to cry when this goes into my credit reportThat is ridiculous!! I NEVER signed up to pay for anything contractuallyAll I did was talk to a lady on the phone for a quote and now it's getting put on my credit reportPlease fix this!

The product forces you to upgrade subscriptions and pay more money
The TeamViewer software allows for remote control of computersWe initially purchased a license so as to install the software for our out-of-office employeesWe use the software to provide desktop technical supportBuilt into the software is a feature which notifies users of a beta version, or a new major version Users mistakenly upgrade not realizing what they are doingAn administrator cannot turn off this feature!
Once the software is upgraded to the next major version, an administrator cannot remotely connect to and support a user without also upgradingHowever, after upgrading, the administrator can only remote into the PC for minutes, unless the account is upgraded (at a cost of thousands of dollars!)
Administratively, we can disable the feature to automatically upgrade to the next major software versionBut we cannot disable the notifications for the new major versions nor Beta versions

Teamviewer advertises free-use for non-business Relying on that, I installed and now am in big problems with my family when they cancel with no warn

I only use it with family members and only for non-commercial purposes per their license
NOW my mother (years old) and my brother (ADHD problems) that count on me to support them on the computer can not have that support because it has been turned off
Without notice, and without any way to communicate, my usage is now "suspended" for some reason after years and years THe internet rumor is that they have new owners and those owners are trying to force the existing users to pay money because they know we are dependent and relied on their prior promises
I will not be visiting my family for many months and so have no opportunity to install

TeamViewer promises a lifetime of service but forces customers into buying substandard "upgrades" then follows up with shady collection practices
TeamViewer promises a lifetime of service but the product fizzles out after a few months and you must spend additional to get a product that works with newer operating systems Therefore the sales promises are deceptive and a breachThe product itself does not work well and does not have robust features like other remote access products It is hard to see remote screens in a teeny tiny out of focus windowThe new version seemed to cause corruption requiring remediation at a significant costThat was bad enough but the shady collection practices by their agent *** to collect on something we never used are leading us to explore damage counterclaimsStop contacting us

I call teamviewer interest in software for coworker, I ask for quote to approve by my work, they email me bill and demand I pay itI never knew price
I gave TeamViewer a call asking about what their new services are, I told the rep I had an employee who would work with us for about a week, and I needed a remote software solution for himI never gave the call rep any billing informationHe asked name, email, and I asked him to send me a quote, so I can get it approved by my managementWe never even discussed pricing! When the quote came it was well over $dollars for a full year, I was shocked by the priceI pressed delete on email and went with one of their competitors, because there was no way I would go with their services given the price and the amount of time I clearly told the rep on the phone I needed the service for
Few days later I get billing notifications via email, so I call TeamViewer confused and tell them I didn't get approval to go forward with teamviewer

Sending Invoice for service I didn't buy
I used free version of Teamviwer in my old computer and downloaded one more program in new computer
One month later, it didn't work so I called customer service and talked to representative of Teamviewer (Almando M.) on February 2th,
He tried to talk to me into buying this license, but I said I didn't want to buy it
He said he would give me one more week's trial period to see If I want to buy this license
Since then, they started to send me the invoice telling me I have to pay $otherwise they will hire the credit collector
I talked to the representative of Teamviewer times on this issue( I can't remember the first time, but on May 1, and May 2, 2018)
They already sent to my information to credit collector in Germany and received an email form them

This company has an unscrupulous EULA that very much benefits them after days Our company is a small business and we deal with a lot of software companies that allow up to days for a refundThis started back in June when I was looking to upgrade to something for our team which was using several remote productsI had all intention of letting them look at TeamViewer but that didn't happen for many reasons Sometime other things get in the way of small business owners I have four grandchildren that have Chiari Malformation and our year old granddaughter was close to dying in JuneShe has since been in the hospital for another operation and has to go back next week We weren't thinking about business When I got the invoice from TeamViewer I very nicely and politely asked to cancel this subscription I was told I could notI requested to see my contract several times and received no ( zero) responses All I was told was there was nothing they c

One of the most unethical businesses I have ever worked withI am a partner of over software companies and work with vendors on a daily basisNever have I ever dealt with a vendor as rude as TeamViewerI subscribed to TeamViewer for close to $2,per yearThe salesman told me it is year to year and I can cancel at any timeNot the caseThe automatically charged my PayPal account, WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION for the renewal one year later and then stated that I needed to provide a written days notice prior to the renewal dateOf course PayPal reversed the charge in my favor as they agreed with meThe URL for the EULA had changed from the original invoice and completely contradicts what I was toldI had my legal team look into their agreements, and no where did I authorize the automatic chargeWhen I called it to ask to calmly resolve the issue as I no longer use the software due to serious flaws it has, an extremely rude sales guy called me backHe kept on calling me by the wrong nameHow unprofessionalThey said they would pass my case to upper managementUpper management never reached out and now all I receive are notices for late payment, even though I clearly don't use the software or want to use the softwareI recommend selecting another company for your remote access software needs that is more flexible and wants to work with you rather than just extract money from you

This company allows you to use their software for free if it is only for personal use
They have accused me of using it commercially, which I am not
They have blocked the free use of their software as a trick to get people to buy their program
I am a disabled senior who helps out in my community along with family and friends
I went through this issue with the company just over years ago when we had Syrian families move into our complexI was helping them out along with my friends and family at the time
They blocked me at that point and made the accusation of commercial use
I contacted them and sent them the log files they requested and POOF they unblocked me as they did see that I don't use their program for commercial use at all
Now they have done the same and when you email them for the free support they say that it can take up to days to respond because it is a free user

On 21st August 2017, our company *** of Milton Ontario Canada purchased a pro TeamViewer subscription to perform updates on a client's computers in Houston We upgraded an employee's existing personal TeamViewer accountThe amount was $CAD dollars
It was a one year subscription, however, our contract in Houston ended and we no longer had need for TeamViewer software and stopped using it
On 20th August 2018, TeamViewer attempted to charge our credit card for the amount of CAD $for another yearOur bank contacted us about the transaction and we declined it We did not receive any renewal reminders nor could we find any way to disable renewals through the TeamViewer portal
I contacted a Team Viewer representative by phone and was told TeamViewer would make no further attempts to ch
