My husband purchased a magazine subscription with a young woman who was canvassing our neighborhoodShe was selling magazines to assist her with her educationHe purchased a year subscription and we received an entirely different oneI cancelled the subscription with the magazine itself and after they told me I would be receiving a refund, I threw out the yellow slip of paper from this organizationAfter waiting several weeks for our refund, I contacted the magazine customer service who told me I had to contact these people directly for my refundSince I don't have that yellow receipt, despite our magazine subscription number and their confirming our address and name, they will not refund us the that the magazine said we would be refundedI can't understand this logicShe said the reason was they needed proof that we paidWell, the procedure for this type of service is that you pay at the time the person comes knocking on your doorThis is totally unacceptableI have cancelled subscriptions before and there is no problem with refundsThis is just a scam to steal your hard earned moneyMy husband thought he was helping out a neighborhood kid - never again

This "company" goes by MANY different names, so look for ALL of those listed by Revdex.com for itOur experience has been just as others have saidThe person will tell you ANYTHING about themselves (ours' said he was the son of a local family), and ANY kind of story as to why they are sellingHe said we could donate our subscriptions to a local hospital for terminally ill children, which seems to be a lie, since their receipt states, "No verbal agreements recognized"Unfortunately, my yrold mother answered the door and listened to his total BSWe put a "stop payment" on her check, but this cost us $35.00, which is a little better than the $she gave himPLEASE WARN OTHERS, ESPECIALLY THE ELDERLY!!! DO NOT LISTEN TO ANY DOOR TO DOOR "SALES PEOPLE"!!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and accept the check in the amount of $for failed delivery of "Complex" magazine. I did not have correspondence concerning alternative magazines and would never choose bridal, weight watchers, or bassmasters as blank notebook paper would be more useful to me. With the arrival of un-desired magazines, I had no idea anything was still processing particularly when there is no contact on receipt, website has no phone, and company does not respond to webbased email on site. The website claims that the receipt # can be entered to show details of order but I did not have any success with this and likely the case for most customers if all the complaints on the internet are any indication. Despite nearly being days, I will wait for Expedition Sales to finish "processing" the other two magazine orders and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

They pose as non-profit Verbally say that donation is tax-deductible but it is really a NON tax-deductible "gift."

First of all, I live in *** *** *** ** and this company is going by the name of Expedition Sales not Team Xtreme sales LLCI had a knock at my door and young gentlemen were asking me to purchase some magazinesI don't read them I told themI was told they have books and games for childrenI saw a*** book and said I would buy When he said they would be $I said forget itWhy so much? He said they consisted of nine books eachI said I would take one of themmonths later a very thin package comes in the mail with one *** book and pages insideThat's it !! Each page is a "Look and see if you can find the ___" kind of puzzle $?? give me a break

Very disappointed with this business the seller was very polite and friendly but the service of the product was terrible. The books/magazines were very expensive and they were not delivered. Regarding the book order which was over $60 for suppose deadly 5 small children's books- only o e was delivered. The magazines al,so failed to deliver. I don't know if the seller was aware of the poor service of the company, but sellers should be ware also. It puts a very bad light on them
