I am writing in regards to the above mentioned complaint. The...

statements that Mr. [redacted] alleges that the independent contractor made during the course of the transaction are neither tolerated nor condoned.   As stated on Mr. [redacted]'s receipt, there are no donations accepted. Since we are unable process orders for donations, a refund would certainly be an acceptable option in this instance. A refund check in the amount of $106.00 has been issued and will be mailed to Mr. [redacted] for this purpose. A copy of the refund check has been enclosed for your review.  If any further information is needed please feel free to contact me.

My husband purchased a magazine subscription with a young woman who was canvassing our neighborhood. She was selling magazines to assist her with her education. He purchased a 2 year subscription and we received an entirely different one. I cancelled the subscription with the magazine itself and after they told me I would be receiving a refund, I threw out the yellow slip of paper from this organization. After waiting several weeks for our refund, I contacted the magazine customer service who told me I had to contact these people directly for my refund. Since I don't have that yellow receipt, despite our magazine subscription number and their confirming our address and name, they will not refund us the 42.00 that the magazine said we would be refunded. I can't understand this logic. She said the reason was they needed proof that we paid. Well, the procedure for this type of service is that you pay at the time the person comes knocking on your door. This is totally unacceptable. I have cancelled subscriptions before and there is no problem with refunds. This is just a scam to steal your hard earned money. My husband thought he was helping out a neighborhood kid - never again.

While it is true that this is not the "technical" same company, the 2 businesses share the same owner who willfully gives customers no option when trying to contact or resolve disputes other than the Revdex.com for recourse.  No phone number, no address other than a PO box. A plethora of businesses are owned by Mr. [redacted] all of which operate the same and effectively do the same thing: not deliver, skipping from business name to business name to avoid responsibility.Nothing short of a full refund will resolve my complaint.

I am writing in response to the above mentioned complaint.  Our records  indicate that Mr. [redacted] orders for two years of Instructor Magazine and four years of Scholastic Parent & Child  Magazine are still processing.  As stated on our sales receipts, we advise that delivery...

of the first  issues can take up to 120 days from the date of sale.We were unable to process Mr. [redacted] order for Complex  Magazine. A letter explaining this a[redacted]  with a choice of alternate magazines  was mailed to Mr. [redacted] on 10/27/14.  We received  Mr. [redacted] response to our offer on 11/10/14 and entered  his choices  of Weight Watchers, Bassmaster and Bridal Guide magazine. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and accept the check in the amount of $65.00 for failed delivery of "Complex" magazine.  I did not have correspondence concerning alternative magazines and would never choose bridal, weight watchers, or bassmasters as blank notebook paper would be more useful to me.   With the arrival of un-desired magazines, I had no idea anything was still processing particularly when there is no contact on receipt, website has no phone, and company does not respond to webbased email on site.  The website claims that the receipt # can be entered to show details of order but I did not have any success with this and likely the case for most customers if all the complaints on the internet are any indication.  Despite nearly being 120 days, I will wait for Expedition Sales to finish "processing" the other two magazine orders and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
