My Apple computer was hacked on January 22, When the Safari screen
reported that my computer was compromised and vital information was stolen
I was shocked! Upon reading the instructions on the Safari warning, I called the
number listed in that message I spoke with Daniel/China and he promptly help-
ed me a great deal...Walked me through steps to take...And, took over my com-
puter to run all sorts of checks Daniel informed me that my Firewall was not
active He was patient and did not mind repeating things that were not clear to
me Computer literate I am NOT!
To make a long story short, Daniel/China was AWESOME! And, I told him soHe told me I made his day

Customer called us with the problem with the computer as customer was not able to use the computer due to performance issueCustomer registered for the services in which we were suppose to fix the performane of her computer and make sure it works fineWhile working on the computer customer called
back and said she does not want to go ahead with the servicesTechnician disconnected the session of the computer and the payment was VOIDED at the same timeCustomer says the her desired resolution is that “Please refund money charged to my credit cardAnd please check to see if someone is using your business for unlawful gain” We VOIDED the payment at the same time so if she will check there will be no charge on her Credit Card
We take measures to keep customers aware of the scams which go on in the market, we sent her an email as well for the sameWe have voice and screen recordings till the time we working on her computer and could be provided if askedBelow are the details of the documents attached which are described above and related to the case -: VOID RECEIPT

I am rejecting this response because:I did make the call and thought the problem was TEMPORARILY resolvedThey did make it faster, but also infected the computerWhen they finished that day, which happened to be a Sunday, they said NOT to take it anywhere else, just to talk to them onlyThey said if I took my computer elsewhere, it would be sent away and I may not get it back for several daysBeing I needed it right away for a presentation, I let them do "repairs"The next day, when I noticed a LOT of issues with my computer, like it was slow again AND I was getting a lot of pop ups which some were x-rated, I called my local computer repair person. The person I contacted would verify that my security was in fact in jeopardy and that my computer was infected with several viruses.I did not bother to call that company backI felt they would only try to take advantage of me again

I called this company to have an internet issue fixedThe woman I spoke with harpreet *** had me enter in remote codes and then all of a sudden my computer shut off and would not turn onThen shortly after that she said she could assure me of fixing the problem with a small fee of $100, its convenient that all of a sudden after I call her now my whole computer crashesThey forced my computer to do that so it would make it so I had no choice but to pay to get the issue fixedWhen I asked to speak to supervisor I was sent to pranav b*** who said that if I make the payment he assured me the problem would be fixedHow can they assure something they didn't have any idea about, unless of course they knew exactly what they put on my computer and knew exactly how to take it offBut first, try to scam me out of money because they made my problem worseUnprofessional and I would highly recommend not calling them and I hope the Revdex.com looks more into this

was when she called us with a problem she was facing on her computer on 01/15/2016. We believe that we had resolved her issue as was confirmed by her then. We have not interacted with her since then. We certainly have not installed any software on her computer before during or after her call that would harm her computer in anyway. All the numbers and the names given by her in her complaint have nothing to do with us and that leads us to believe that there was an attempt to scam her. We feel bad that this happened to her but, not being responsible for her ordeal, all we can do is recognize that she is unhappy with our service despite no fault on our side. As such, in accordance with our stated policy of ‘no question asked easy refunds’ to all our customers,  we will be sending her refund check in the mail to the address given in her complaint. We think her refusal to interact with any of the scamsters calling her did save [redacted] from a lot of trouble and commend her for having the presence of mind to do that.  We are taking appropriate action to keep our other customers from being victimized in this or any other manner. Regards,Techdrive Team

My husband had a similar experience as the other person who left a review. He was simply trying to check the weather when a popup message informed him that his computer had several very serious "issues." The message gave a number to call. Once he called and followed the instructions given him, things went from bad to worse. He was told that, for a sizeable fee, they could fix the problem for him. I stepped in and told him we could simply buy a new computer rather than "fix" that one. He told the man that we would discuss it and perhaps call him back. We then had a terrible time trying to close all the windows that had been opened so that we could shut the computer down. After unplugging the computer and then restarting it, the problem was solved. I truly believe this was a scam. This is not a company that does business on the up and up! Beware of them!

This company apparently phished its way onto my computer. Had a pop up that I could not close telling me I had a virus on my computer and I MUST call this number to get my computer fixed. I was stupid enough to allow them access to my computer without realizing this is what I was doing. After "checking" various places on my computer, I was told for a small fee ($169.00) they would fix my computer. I quickly ended the phone call and shut down my computer (without closing any of the open programs). I hope they did not do anything else harmful to my computer. They now have all of my information: including the serial number for my computer.
