This company is not functioning. My online account is "not recognized." No idea how to recoup my $. I have been using this company for nearly 2 decades but have not made calls recently. Access numbers ring busy constantly as does customer service number. I have an auto refill plan and now must phone my credit card company to have them block further charges. This is theft and should be treated as such.

This is a long distance telephone service. One pays in an amount of one's choosing and receives a pin code.Then one calls a provided toll free contact number, the number one is calling, one's own telephone number and the pin code and is connected to the pary one is calling. Thid eeorked fine until about two weeks ago when all their contact numbers had a busy signal. Notwithstanding that I keop getting emails asking me to top off my account. two dollars credited for every one paid and the like. it looks like they've shut down. This is annoying because it was a fairly reliable and cheap service and I'm out the less than twenty dollars I had as my credit balance (this is not enough to file a complaint about to the Revdex.com), but I think that the repeated offers to add money to one's account with tel3 constitues fraud and should be stopped if possible.

Other (requires explanation) I'd like the email requests for money stopped, someone may be gulible enough to acually have their credit card charged, and to know whether the business is out of business or just experiencing computer problems.

The Revdex.com obviously did not understnd my complaint, I did not ask how to stop the payment soliciting emails to me. I asked that they be stopped to anybody because some one may be gulible enough to send money and my guess is thatthis constitutes fraud on the part of the sender.
Asking the betterBusiness Bureau for help seems to be utterly useless; I should have brought my complaint to the police in the first place.

I have been unable to make any phone calls for over 9 months. I keep getting a "all circuits are busy" message no matter the day or time of day.
I tried multiple times over several months to use my pre-paid card (currently worth about $76) to make calls overseas. No matter what time of year, the month, day, or time of day, no call makes it through. I complained to teh company and was told that they were aware of the technical problems and were fixing it. It has been more than 2 months since I last heard that message. I just found out online that I am not the only one facing this problem (https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.tel3.com ).

Cannot reach customer support to reactive account. No online, email or telephone help.
No problems with this company until I went to make a LD call in Feb/20. A recording informed me my account was inactive which was news to me as last time I'd used it it had a balance of around $15. The recording told me to call the 1-800 number for customer service. No answer after an hour but I then found all my online account records. Unfortunately, I was unable to log in and again directed to call the 1-800#. I tried a total of 7 more times, usually waiting 35-55 minutes. After two more waits I tried emailing customer support describing my inability to get help on the 1-800# to reactivate an account. I promptly received an automated confirmation email and 48 hours later a follow up email saying I had to call the 1-800#! Within hours I even received a customer satisfaction survey. No response to this when I described the complete lack of support.
There are several other factors here that concern me....
The recording is short, constantly repeating and unhelpful. The estimated waiting time is announced frequently but is inaccurate. As the "clock" runs down the "minutes" get longer. "One" is at least ten minutes. Twice my call seemed to be answered but there was silence for about a minute before I was disconnected.
Very frustrating!
Meanwhile, I receive almost daily emails urging me to top up my account- by calling the same 1-800#.
Something is wrong. Based on complaints I see posted on line it appears many are having identical experiences - and also surprised after similar good service up until recently. Bankrupt?
Meanwhile, where is my cash balance? I would warn any prospective customer away but suspect there is no way to join now anyway.
Any help in retrieving my balance would be appreciated. An accurate public statement about the status of this outfit is also overdue.

I have $570 in prepaid money on Tel3, however, I cannot use it. Two weeks ago I came across a problem. When I tried to access one of the many Arizona access numbers I get a message that says all lines are busy. I contacted them via email and they sent me a standard message saying it would be fixed in 24 hours. It has been two weeks. I also have tried to contact their 1-888 number and am put on hold for an hour then the phone line is disconnected. STAY AWAY!

I have 48 dollars left on my account and and I cannot make calls. The C. S. kept me on the phone for over an hour and then hung up. Several times.
THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE DECEMBER AND I HAVE YET TO GET A RESPONSE FROM TEL 3 ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY NOW.

The customer did place some calls today and her account is active. I also called and left a message for Velle to call me if we could be of additional Help.

I could not place calls to Honduras. I was told they were aware of the situation and working to fix it. This has gone on for three-plus months. The only reason I used Tel 3 was to place calls to Honduras. I finally was able to contact a customer service representative after numerous attempts. I wanted to cancel my account and was told it takes XX-XXX days to receive a refund. I have never experienced such a long delay in obtaining a refund.

I used this Tel3 account for over five years for overseas phone calls and I paid in over one hundred dollars and today March 12, 2020 I wanted to make an overseas phone call and was informed that my account is no longer active and if I wanted to re-charge my account I would have to send more money to reopen for overseas phone calls. This is an unfair practice by this service and I was not notified about their policy that I had to make phone call at least once a year and I know that I had made one last year and my funds should be returned to me instead of just cancelling my account and/or refunding or re-charging the account with the money on my account to activate it again.

We are truly sorry for he extended wait for a response and a resolution to this matter. You issue has been pending for a while.

We are just beginning to get back to some sense of normalcy due to Covid 19.

We anticipate that we can get this matter resolved by the end of this month.

I have used the service for several years now, without any complaints. I call the local connection number (there are two of them) and I can always connect. The prices are fair, could be lower.

Unable to use Tel3 for calls to family in Germany since 02/11/2020.
On 02/11/2020 I was suddenly getting "Invalid Number" for all numbers that I frequently call in Germany. I called the customer service number (XXX) XXX-XXXX, was put on hold forever, and then the call simply disconnected! NOBODY answered my call upon redialing this number. Instead, I sent 2 emails to Tel3 and got no reply.

On 02/15, Tel3 sent an email confirming an open support ticket XXXXXXXX.
I replied with THIRD email the same day that I am still unable to call Germany.

On 02/16, I tried calling the other customer service support numbers only to find out that nobody is available over the weekends (800-482-4459 and XXX-XXX-XXXX).
I finally sent a FOURTH email asking for help or to refund my existing balance of $26.53 in my Tel3 account as soon as possible.

Customer service at Tel3 is virtually non-existent and this is UNACCEPTABLE.

I am requesting either a resolution to their technical problems or a refund of my balance of $26.53.

Apologies for missing the deadline to respond.

I did receive a few phone calls from their operations manager who said that the phone numbers in Germany, that I had trouble with, should be working now.

I used a different phone number in Germany and it worked. I will find out soon if the other numbers work as well.

They no longer service my country. I have attempted to get a refund for the last 2 months to no avail. Rep. Daniel just told me it'll take XX-XXX days
I have been calling for the longest. I contacted them in the second quarter of 2019 when I first experienced the "all circuits are busy message". When I finally spoke to a representative, he told me that they were working on the issue. I waited a couple of months again and called to no avail. Every time I called, I would receive a message of "your wait time is ...mns". Then, the call would suddenly be disconnected. I emailed them on December 3, 2019 and explained the problem and requested my money back. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I want my money refunded as soon as possible. The problem is not my fault and they should have refunded my money back or at least emailed me when they decided not to service my country anymore.

My calling card balance was $41.42. My next call lasted 3 minutes and cost $0.084, my balance is now $4.92. They do not answer their phones or email.

On XX-XX-XXXX I made a call of 3 minutes and my balance was $41.42.
My next call was on X-X-XXXX also for 3 minutes, for which I was charged $0.084, and my balance now shows $4.92
Some error has occurred as there is a missing $36.50 from my account.

I sent an email to their Support address on January 4, 2020, and after 2 weeks on January 20, 2020 I received a response that said:
"You've got an open support ticket XXXXXXXX, and it's been a while since I've heard from you. Hopefully this means your issue has been resolved; I'm putting this ticket on hold in the hopes that it's true. If it's not, please respond to this email to reopen the ticket and confirm that the issue is not yet resolved."

I responded back to them on January 20, 2020 saying that the issue had not been resolved. So far no response from Tel3.

The balance they owe me has not been reinstated.

I have tried calling their office. I get put on hold but no one ever answers. The recording tells me how many minutes I will be left on hold. It gets down to "2 minutes remaining", then no more estimate of time remaining. I stayed on hold for another 15 minutes after being told 2 minutes remaining. No one ever answered.

I tried the "support.tel3.com" link on their site, it is not connected to anything. It goes to a page that says there is no such link.

I receive frequent email ads from Tel3 inviting me to put more money in my account.
Tel3 used to be a good company that offered good calling card service.

I now believe the company to be a scam.

Paid $25 toward pre-paid phone card use. It stopped working as of yesterday 1-8-19
Have used Tel3 for about 12 years. Up to this week, the service worked fine. I would re-load $25 worth of minutes so that my parents could call people from their condo in florida to mostly me, my sister and my aunt in NJ.

I re-loaded $25 from my credit card in March 2019 and as of yesterday I still had $23.89 on the pre-paid card and the service stopped working with any access numbers that they supplied.

Have been on hold with customer service for over 1.5 hours twice today and there is a constant message about a 6 people ahead of me and a wait of about 14 minutes, then 4 people and a wait of 10 , then 2 people and 4 minutes, etc. BUT no one EVER picks up and the message keeps playing over and over for hours.

Please try to find out what is going on.

I have purchased the service, and I have not been able to use it. I have been calling customer service, they have been hanging up on me.
I have not been able to make international phone calls with the service that I have purchased. When I contacted customer service, it's either they put me on hold for over one hour then hang up on me, or saying that "this number does not exist". Meanwhile, they are still sending me offer/promotion through my e-mail ***@yahoo.fr.

I would like to get a refund from the company if their service is no longer functioning. It's been months since I have not been able to call my family in Haiti with the service.

Always can't connect, and when I call costumer service, right now its 49 minutes already and no one answers. And it always" all tickets are busy now" that'll I hear even the party line is waiting and keeps waiting and their phones are not ringing. 1 star for me.

Prepaid phone card for international calls/ can never be used and no support from customer services
I used tel3 to connect with my family in Haiti. In the last 3 months I can never reach anyone with their card. Can never connect to customer services to try to resolve the issues. If they can't connect with Haiti anymore they need to stop advertising it in their website. They let you buy it even though they know you won't be able to use it.

I haven't been able to use tel3 service since the beginning of December. I called and waited on hold for 2 hours only to be cut off. Multiple emails
I have over $250 in credit with tel3. I can't make a call. I can't connect with customer service on the phone. I have emailed multiple times and gotten replies a few times but still no issue is resolved. The calls don't go through and the message keeps saying all circuits are busy in the country you are calling. Recently they offer promotional emails saying if I recharge my a/c I'll get 100% free extra minutes. They can't get the service working now, what good will extra minutes do me or anyone else for that matter. I'm seriously afraid they will fold the company and keep the $$ in all these a/c's. The emails give me a robo response. I've asked to cancel my a/c and give back my money but they just ignore me. I have tried several times to call the company to be left on hold for hours at a time.

TEL3 contacted me. Service is up and running again. It's a shame we as customers weren't informed of the situation from the beginning. I am happy with the resolution so far. Hopefully the service will continue without interruption in the future.

phone service provider doesn't fix the connection and doesn't issue a refund for remaining funds.
For more than a year I've used Tel3 service (account ID 352***7295) for calls to Uzbekistan and I was happy with it. Since 11/4/19 I've started getting message "All circuits are busy" after dialing the number. Tel3 doesn't fix the connection (I was told they don't know how long it will take (?!)) and doesn't issue a refund (remaining funds - $5.43). All what they tell me to do is to call their customer service numbers (1-800-482-4459, X-XXX-XXX-XXXX) to get a refund (they claim they can't issue a refund via email/chat). And to speak with somebody using these 2 numbers is near to impossible - after listening to ads for 30-40mins you are disconnected! I can't/don't want to waste my time with this terrible customer service and I demand the refund ($5.43) - it's the matter of principle for me now. From now on I will stay away from Tel3 at all cost.

this is both a customer service and service complaint
I have been a customer of Tel 3 for years. It is only now that having a problem I cannot find any help, whether it is through email, or phone. I waited 45 minutes on the phone today (XXX XXX XXXX - XXX XXX XXXX ) and the phone went dead. Yesterday after 30 minutes I heard Good Bye. I still have a problem and don't know how to speak to a human? and get it solved. This is unacceptable. Thank you.
