Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am not willing to accept what Tempe Transmission Factory has offered because the person they have been "referring all warranty customers to [redacted] at ###-###-#### at [redacted] Transmission" is not a businessHe is a recently UNEMPLOYED, FORMER Employee of Tempe Transmission Factory looking for workHe does not have a business license, shop, office, insurance, etc., and works from homeI have already contacted ***, and he confirmed that he is not doing ANY warranty work for or from Tempe Transmission FactoryHe informed me that he will charge to complete work since he just recently was let go from Tempe Transmission factory and is currently looking for employmentThis is NOT an option to be charged twice for what should have been repaired correctly the first timeI can not afford to spend another $to have my transmission repaired Regards, [redacted]

Our Nissan stopped moving I thought it was the transmission I called a couple places and they wanted me to bring it in so they could give an estimate We weren't about to have to car towed around for estimates I asked a neighbor who is a "car guy" with some great sounding muscle cards He told me about his cousin who had a broken tranny, and took it to Tempe Transmission Factory He said they had it diagnosed before they were done talking at the front counter He recommended them I called and they told me to do this and this- they thought it might be the front axle was broken So I got in the car and did as they asked- confirming their over-the-phone diagnosis I called back and got a price that tured out to be less than half of what the next lowest estimate turned out to be We had our car back the next day I would recommend them above all others for tranny and drivetrain work We've been there once and will go there again if the need arises Don't judge by Revdex.com ratings Look at what customers are sayingHad they played Revdex.coms game, they'd have gotten the A they deserve As a small business owner, I've been there The Phoenix chapter of the Revdex.com might as well be the [redacted] They believe their mission is to promote their member businesses They call non-members who are not interested in playing their game, and when they hang up and go about their business they get dermerits Many consumers think they can trust the Revdex.com, so the extortion racket works Once in ahwile the Revdex.com protects a consumer, perpetuating their carefully crafted mythology

Ms [redacted] had her truck into our facility for repair as statedLast time vehicle was in our facility transmission case/housing was actually broken due to a bend shaft in her transfer caseWe repaired for her no chargeMs [redacted] has made no attempt to contact us concerning issues with transmission since that timeIf she is in fact having issues with previous repairs made by us we'd be more then willing to repair according under the guidelines of our warrantyThanks for your help in this matter[redacted] Tempe Transmission Factory

***STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE*** I want to begin with letting you know that the only reason I took my truck here was because I am a truck driver and did not have the time to do it myself, and I figured I would have a warranty as wellI usually do all my own repairs and rebuilds! Now to the important issue, this business is less than honorable when it comes to making repairsI took my ram 4xin to have my trans built "HEAVY DUTY" and paid a hefty $told them exactly what I wantedBillet torque converter with slightly higher stall, heavy duty planets and clutches plus bands, updated pump! I was told it would take 1-days, I asked ***,the guy I was dealing with if they could do it that quick since it was an extensive jobI also told him the trans wasn't bad but it was starting to display torque converter shutter and did not want to get stranded so I wanted it all done since its also our family outing vehicle! NO PROBLEM! We went completely over what I wanted done, not once but three timeshe also said he was the most experienced and he would be doing the build himself.("yrs experience")So my truck enden up taking days! I said thats fine as long as its done right! well I picked it up as they were closing for the day and drove offdue to heavy traffic and slow speed driving I didnt get a chance to try it out right awayWhen traffic finally broke I got on it a little bit only to discover very soft shifts and low torque"i know for a fact theres no shift kit!" I thought to myself, so I called them but it was too lateno worries I thought I bought the 24mo 24k mile warranty so its goodWhen I got home I got under the truck and checked the trans, no billet torque converter! I called the next day and spoke with ***, he told me he was sorry but the guy that built it forgot to put it in, I asked why the shift kit wasnt putin either, he said he forgot that tooI then asked him why he didnt build it, he said he was sick! I took back in and was told it would be done that afternoondays later I picked up my truckI drove it and asked him whats wrong with it! it practically snaps my neckHee said its the shift kit I wanted, well Ive installed plenty from mild to wild and this was none of thosehe said it might take a few miles for the trans to adjust since its electronico.kmakes some sensegot home after going on the freeway and as I pulled in the drive I noticed my truck pulling hardthey left it in 4wheel drive! all my connections where mangled and my hoses were on backwards and my exhaust was damaged! I called him and told him all this, he said they never touched that stuff, then how did you repair the tranny? He stayed quiet for a second, we'll take care of itI have not been able to get in touch with them since, no call backs no e-mail responses! ***STAY AWAY*!!!!

Tempe Transmission Factory LLCpromised to repair or replace our car's transmission and collected over $from us only to hand us the car back three months later with the transmission in the trunk of our car after numerous attempts by us to get them to honor their warranty on the poorly performed transmission work on our carWe filed a law suit against them and we won The Judge awarded us a Judgment against this shop and they have yet to pay us our money back as they promised they would or honor the judge awarded against Tempe Transmission Factory LLCby the Court Horrible place to do business with

Tempe Transmission Factory has contacted Mr *** and informed him that the parts that failed in his transmission were not covered under the warrantyMr *** has paid for the additional parts as of today the parts have arrived and the transmission iss being repairedMr *** has been
informed and was told that Tempe Transmission Factory would call him as soon as thr vehicle was done

I have personally been in contact with Mr ***After researching the situation Mr *** informed me that he had installed a ** One ton Remanufactured Transmission provided by us into his half ton truckThe Transmission Mr *** purchased from us will not work in this application and will fail
as his has doneOur Warranty does not cover this situationWe would be willing to provide Mr *** with another Remanufactured Transmission at our CostPlease let me know if I can be of anymore assistanceThanks for your help in this matter*** ***

As of Wed02/19/at 10:00pm I still do not have my vehicle and Tempe Transmission Factory has had it in their shop for weeks and days (since Monday Jan 20, 2014.) here is details of all that has happen from the filling of my complaint with ***
Tue02/11/at2:00pm; I called *** and asked the status of my vehicle and he said "we are going to work on it next." I asked when it would be done and he said "maybe tomorrow like you said in your complaint to the ***."
Wed02/12/14: no word from Tempe Transmission Factory (TTF)
Thur02/13/at 9:*** called me and said my transmission needed a part that is not part of the warranty and it cost $And he needs my credit card information to get the part (I gave him the card info.)He stated he would take care of the labor and that the part should be there by 10am tomorrow and when I asked, he said it should be done by Friday
Fri02/14/14: no word from TTF
Mon02/17/I called *** and asked on status, he said "one gear did not come in and he expects it this morning and then it would take two and one half hours to get the transmission put back together." I asked when it would be done and he said "should be later today or tomorrow." I called *** back this date at 4:10pm and he said " the part just got here ten minutes ago." I asked when the vehicle would be ready and he said "should be sometime tomorrow."
Tue02/18/14; I called *** at 3:50pm and asked for the status of the vehicle, he said "the transmission is done and now needs to be installed." Again I asked when it will be done and he said "should be tomorrow."
Wed02/19/14; I called *** at 4:10pm and asked the status of my vehicle and he said "let me see--------they must have it out for a drive as I don't see it in the shop, I will call you back as soon as they get back." I got no call back from *** or TTF as of this writing
for the past weeks and days I have made all the calls and contacts (withe exception of one when *** asked for my CC information)I have asked all the questions and *** never offers any information unless I ask, noneHe continues to delay the work costing me money, time and inconvenience being with out my transportation for a month nowAnd I am still without*** continues to make excuses and not do as he says he willThis job continues to take many many more days then what is Industry standard

Terrible customer service. They were great at first when I had my transmission rebuilt. Then the transmission went out again not even 6 months later with the warranty. They are taking forever to fix it. I had told them that I had needed my car done in a week since I have no other car to drive and have been bumming rides and its been over 2 weeks now and they had just started looking at my car. They close earlier than 5pm which is their posted time of closing. When you ask them to call you later for an update they will not call you.

Ms [redacted] asked us to take her vehicle to another shop for additional diagnosis. It appears at this time that vehicle actually has an engine concern not a transmission concern. We would be willing to pay $900.00 total towards her rental car expense. Please let us know if she will accept this offer.

Tempe Transmission Factory is well aware my truck is not a half ton truck and the transmission was the original factory [redacted]  transmission that they specifically market towards.
