I have zero tolerance for the behaviors of this establishment! From the time I stepped in the store and the days following, have been nothing short of a disaster! They completely ruined an experience for both my mother and me! I asked my mother to pick out which appliances she wanted for the kitchen and I would in turn pay for them. On, Saturday, 10/19/19 we went to Texas Appliance in ***, TX and my mother did just that. She picked out her appliances. We were greeted with 3 individuals in the front of the store, heads down and on their phone. One gentleman did get up to walk over and ask if we needed help. His name was Mr. ***. We picked out our purchase completed the paperwork and Mr. walked us out. Not before, he can make the statement to myself, “If I were only younger” ……. In amazement, I just looked at him. Wow, even today, this still happens!
To date, 11/6/19, we only have the range installed in the house. The refrigerator is sitting in the garage in the box and a microwave has been on backorder. Delivered to the store damaged and reordered again.
Upon the delivery of the range and refrigerator on 10/25/19, the delivery person installed the range but after trying to install the refrigerator, stated we had a valve broken and then a leak. We never had a water leak until after this person touched it! The city was called and after pumping water out of the hole where the water gage was. He showed me where we now had a leak. The delivery driver from TX Appliance began yelling that’s “bt” numerous times. He then jumped into the delivery van and I yelled to him “I’ve not signed anything” and he drove off.
Water now is leaking onto the sidewalk to where we never had a water leak prior.
After returning into the house. I began to smell plastic burning. The delivery driver turned on both ovens to over 400 degrees. I quickly grabbed the instruction booklet to read how to shut off the both ovens.
The delivery person also unplugged current refrigerator and took off all the handles - I plugged it back in and moved it back in place. To date, (11/6/19) it’s still there without handles.
Plumber was called and I have now paid $4500 on a water leak that was not there prior to the deliver guy touching the water valve. Valve both inside the house and outside of the house.
I have spoken to the Manager at the *** location, *** and received nothing but, I’m sorry, we’ll have a conversation with the delivery person.
On 11/4/19, I called the Arlington Corporate location and spoke to a *** who took my complaint and passed it to a *** who then in turn called me. Mrs. listened to my complaint and apologized and asked that I send her a timeline of the events and invoice of what I paid the plumbing company - to which was completed and submitted by 5pm that day. Mrs. also stated that it would be in my “best financial” interest to complete so that she could have a conversation with her boss and possibly an owner. She also stated she would call me back by 12pm the following business day. As of 1:00pm on 11/6/19, I have not heard back from Mrs.. I left a message at 3pm on her voicemail on 11/5/19.
I’ve left 2 messages for the delivery/scheduling department on 11/6/19 at 9:30am and 1:00pm.
I’m astonished at the fact that Mrs. would state that it would be in my “best financial” interest when she only had my side of the story! I know how they treat customers, is this how they treat their employees too? You don’t speak with the employee and get both sides of the story? The lack of integrity is obvious from the top down! I didn’t spend thousands of dollars as I’m sure some customers do, but I did spend my hard-working dollars to provide to my mother! I will never purchase from you again and I will tell everyone I know to NEVER shop here!

I went in to Texas Appliance to shop around for a couple items. Christian G was there to help me with all my questions. I went home thinking I would find much lower prices online. That was not the case at all. The price in the store was the lowest I was able to find. I went back up to the store and Christian helped get everything ordered and I couldn’t be happier with the deal and customer service I received.

I went to this location and bought kitchen appliances to replace the ones that I had. They ordered everything for me and told me it would be available and installed within a couple of week.s Three months later, they tell me that they cannot get the electric cooktop to match the other appliances that were purchased.
I financed these using their finance company and was told on Friday, 7/19/19 that a refund for $1428.72 would be applied to the loan. I called *** my sales person on Monday and he said that it would take 3 days for the payment to show as applied to the loan. On Friday, 7/26/19 the payment is still not showing as applied to this loan and I am not getting answers from this company

Very poor customer service. Was supposed to install refrigerator and washer but said they didn't have the tools to switch the door on refrigerator. Set up for the next Saturday, then they say failed to get it on the delivery schedule so would need to reschedule. They already got their money so they don't care about my needs. I have wasted two weekends now waiting on them. I will never buy from them again! You can get better service at Lowes or Home Depot!

Everything went quite well with the sales of a Chest Freezer except when the unit arrived, it was 12 inches too long for the area it needed to occupy. When advising the Store Representative of the error. he no longer remembered any dimension issues in the purchasing over the phone. With this came a STORE POLICY that included a 25% restocking fee. So a $639.00 Freezer, from a so voted the Texas # 1 Appliance Store now becomes the owner again of an unused, unopened product that most probably will go back on sale for the original price and the Company has robbed a customer of a weeks wages, .with a smile. And to the Representative, who with glee, that couldn't remember the dimension issue, well you'll probably also not remember advising of a 25% RESTOCKING FEE!

Texas Appliance (Hurst, TX store) treated us like valued customers from start to finish. They helped us make the selection that was right for us, get the best price, and there was no pressure. The delivery man was professional, efficient and very friendly. In 3 decades of buying appliances, this was the most pleasant. Will shop here again!

I went into Texas Appliance to purchase a fridge and had it scheduled for delivery on 5/19/18 and I received a call early morning that the fridge was damaged and they were not going to be able to deliver the fridge. I explained to him that we were moving in that day and that we NEEDED a fridge. *** from logistics found one at another location that he said was a floor model and that nothing was wrong with it, I agreed to that one taking his word. Upon arrival of the fridge to my home I realized that it was damaged I called *** back and informed him and he said I could either reject it or keep it while they found something else. I decided to keep it and during the week he called me back and said that they were getting a new one shipped in. I spoke to *** and scheduled to have it delivered Saturday the 26th in the morning because I had a graduation to attend. Comes Saturday and I get a voice mail from a man stating that the delivery was scheduled for that afternoon. I called back and asked to speak to *** she said there was nothing that she could do no apologies or anything so I just rescheduled for delivery for 6/1/18. I requested a vacation day to wait for the new fridge to be received and once again the day of the delivery I get a call stating that the fridge was damaged on the inside! That I could go pick out another one or wait for a new one to be delivered. I then received a call From *** stating that the fridge is coming from KOREA and that it would not be delivered till the 27th of June instead of on the 8th. I told him I would go during the week to pick something else out as we were going on vacation the last week of June, he said that that would be fine to go Thursday of Friday as *** would be there and to either ask for *** or for him and they would help me. I get their today (6/8/18) to pick up another fridge *** was with a customer and *** was nowhere to be found. I was looking at the fridges and *** came and said *** would be with me shortly as she was with another customer. I went to the front after looking at everything and still waiting for *** and she was in the front counter talking to a coworker her customer GONE! I decided to walk out due to not being able to wait any longer because I was at lunch. At this point I’m tired of dealing with excuses, missing out work, and having my time taken away without resolving anything! All I needed was a fridge and it has become a real nightmare!

I have many problems about the way you do business at the Airport Freeway location. I paid nearly $9,000 for new appliances in January. Never were we told our refrigerator was back ordered until it was time for delivery. We were told March, then April, which we obliged for an agreed upon credit to the purchase price. Then the delivery window was quoted wrong and I sat at home half a day from work. Now we finally have a refrigerator, in May, and "we should be happy" is what we were told... Now we cannot get the credit because no one is competent at this store enough to get the job done according to the sales person. Or "we have to wait until the manufacturer gives us the credit, then you can get yours." Are you serious? Haven't we waited enough? I will 100% never do business with this place again, I will 100% tell everyone I know about how horrible the experience is to do business here.

We are truly at the mercy of the manufacture for the delivery of products and the information regarding the delivery of these products. Manufactures change and move dates around on us all the time and we could have clearly done a better job of communicating this to you. The manufactures representative was the one to come up with the idea to refund the $1000 for you to wait on the new product while they worked out their problems. We did just receive the credit from them and we have mailed the $1000.00 as of today. We hope that you can see fit to forgive us, for this this was a very unique situation.

I agree the situation is unique, however customer service is the business you're in. I did business with Texas Appliance, not Kitchen Aid. Kitchen Aid may have had a hiccup in their manufacturing, which happens, I know for a fact. My problem is 100% completely with your companies customer service. I did not fall in love with the newest, Kitchen Aid product. We were sold that product. When you found out that it was back ordered, we should have been contacted. I did agree with the delay of 1 month with NO extras involved from y'all, just took it. Come the new delivery day... guess who was finding out again, our refrigerator was going to be delayed again? ME. No communication what so ever from you. This is when I began getting upset. Then you promise a refund amount and I have to wait WEEKS for that also? Because you have to wait for your credit first? I'm not even mad at Kitchen Aid, I'm mad at Texas Appliance. You simply cant take care of anything. You didn't even offer after all this to bring the refrigerator in the house and plug it in for us, y'all have made 100% zero effort to recover the shotty experience... If the check is in the mail and it goes correctly, I'll be highly shocked. There will no doubt be an excuse that is the manufacturers fault if it does not come in the mail. Why not refund the card? Why not ask if we want to drop by so you can hand us the check and try and recover your customer service? Leave the check to the mail, where something else can delay our refund... probably Kitchen Aid's idea also. I'm sorry but you all clearly need training.

We'll never be back.

By far the worst company in North Texas to deal with. Sales staff ordered wrong appliance. Delivered another appliance wrong and again damaged. 4 week late on final appliance. Shipping manager told me customer satisfaction was 20 years ago. Sales man was pushy and ordered wrong product. Office manager was deceitful, lied and overall incompotent to handle customer issues
