Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Their letter dated 5/12/was received on 5/16/ The first paragraph, last sentence states "You want the calls from TG to stop." and the second paragraph ..."if you re receiving misdirected calls"and the fourth paragraph states "...customers are identified by name, social security number, and date of birth All identifiers must match..."but paragraph states "However, disclosing only the last 4-digits of your social security number OR your date of birth will allow TG to determine whether or not you are the intended FFEL customer." and lastly paragraph states "...unless you prove that you are not the intended customer, it is possible that misdirected contacts may continue."Let's just stay with the first paragraph that I want the calls from TG to stop The calls have been misdirected and they have the wrong [redacted] *** I have never had a student loan and I do not want any further contact from their company or any company in their employ Regards, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:I have not received any maximum refund and every time I call to speak with a representative I am either hung up on or sent to a voice mailMy taxes should have never been offset in the first place since I was not behind on any payments to your companyThis whole horrible ordeal is because your representatives do not do their jobs appropriately as far as educating consumersMy refund was wrongfully offset and now you are refusing to return itThis should definitely be illegalI am paying for your error! I suggest you fix it!

Attached is my response to the borrowers dispute in regard to TG's issuance of a wage withholding order to her employer.  While Ms. [redacted] indicates that she was never notified of TG's intent to garnish, this does not appear to be the case.  TG first issued a "Notice Prior to Wage...

Withholding" in April of 2015.  Ms. [redacted] responded to this initial notification and actually agreed to repayment terms.  However, Ms. [redacted] failed to maintain those terms and the "order" was subsequently issued to her employer.As indicated in my letter, Ms. [redacted] has options if the garnishment currently in place poses a financial hardship.  She can feel free to contact me at (800) 252-9743 ext [redacted] to discuss her account.  I will be happy to assist her.[redacted]

[redacted]     Re: Case #[redacted]: [redacted]   Dear Ms. [redacted] I received a telephone message from your customer who received my letter dated 6/24/15 in response to his concerns about Texas Guaranteed (TG).   While Mr. [redacted] states that TG is permitted to give your agency a copy of the outgoing response, TG is not able to comply with a verbal release. Per the law, (U.S. Code 3404), TG requires out customers to provide a privacy release through a signed and dated written statement.
