Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:My point was that your response should be related to me only, as I am the one receiving the threatening letters and phone calls.  The other parties listed in your response have no interest in this complaint.  I would like the Autobarn to submit the facts, which are, that you repeatedly billed and harassed me.  As you stated, this should stop, but an apology should be offered for your mishandling of this matter.Thank you
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:I spoke with the F&I department of the dealership I work for, who said they have never had a problem figuring out what an out of state tax rate is for a customer. Additionally, if that was the case, I would think I would be notified right away instead of several months of me harassing the dealership and given no indicator the hold up was because of taxes owed. I believe if the case were genuinely that taxes could not be configured on a weekend, I should've been notified on the spot and called on Monday during business hours. As the dealership was in no hurry to mention there would be money owed post-deal, I do not believe this to be the case. I have also cited several other cases, albeit in different states, that also deal with out of state purchases and post-taxation.http://abcnews.go.com/US/dealership-charge-motor-vehicle-tax-car-p... /> Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:After reading about others that have gone through this issue, I do not think my request is unreasonable. I have cited sources for others that have had this problem and ultimately, it is the dealership that covers the cost of the mistake they made, genuine or not. If a genuine mistake was made, I believe I would've been contacted before the two month period, when I was calling every day to try to find out why I couldn't plate a vehicle I have already made several payments on.
Sincerely,

[redacted] general sales manager, contacted the client and offered the internet price with no additions.  The client declined this offer.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  Reply from VW has nothing to do with my complain (I did not try to purchase anything online), and nobody contacted me yet. To correct the issue.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I have previously reported the electrical issues in the car that have been constant since purchasing the vehicle.  This is not just an issue with me, but with 2011 Jettas in general.  Since purchasing the vehicle in 2012 the all lighting blows out every two months and have to be constantly replaced, the entire radio system stopped working for no reason and had to be replaced as well as the vehicles horn which the dealership in Chico said appeared to stop working for "no apparent reason".  I have also reported this issue to Volkswagen corporate.  I just would like other consumers to know that these vehicles are lemons and the dealerships, including this one that sold me the vehicle and knew of the issues, take no accountability.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

It was a genuine omission on our part, however it is still buyer's responsibility to pay taxes for his vehicle based on his residency. We are accepting the fact we made mistake and in order to move forward  we are willing to pay 50% of taxes.
