My story is like the others - clicked on some dumb Facebook ad and got suckered and now can't find a working phone number or a 'return to' address that is acceptable. Filed a complaint with BBB and am telling everyone I know. Terrible practice for any company - worthless product as well. Want a refund and to send back the product.

Complete scam! Their business model is predicated on conning people into accepting a “free” sample and then sucking them into a recurring monthly charge. The scam is propagated by the difficulty in reaching customer service and the extraordinary lengths one must go to to cancel the monthly charges and return the product.

Just another scam to get people sucked into a monthly charge. Return process was extremely difficult because of the number of times I had to call and then I had to ship the merchandise back to 2 separate addresses. Waited a month for a refund and never heard anything---tracking confirmed when the item was returned. I contacted customer service and was told I should receive my refund by 2/25/18 and if I don't, call back. I didn't receive my refund so I called back on2/26/18 and was told I would not be getting a refund because the item had been opened. I initiated contact each time. They had the returned product on 1/24/18 and never contacted me to let me know there was any type of issue. They didn't even send me the product back! It's a complete scam. Waste your money on something else.

I purchased the "trial" bottle. No where during the purchase did it let me know that I would be charged $89.99 after 14 days. Customers service was very unhelpful and rude. After numerous attempts to get my refund they offered me a 30% refund, I declined, then offered a 50% refund. I declined, then final I said I would be filing a complaint with the B.B.B. and I then qualified for a full refund. Was told it would take up to 5 to 30 days for the refund to be back in my account depending my financial institution. So only took 5 phone calls ands numerous emails and over 3 weeks, I'll hopeful get a refund. Very bad business. Don't recommend this company. Read reviews before purchasing

I purchased Beard Czar through a ad on Facebook (getbeardczar.com). When you go through the purchasing system online it states you will be sent a 30day supply free of charge and you are only to pay shipping and handling, which was $4.95. Then once you put in all your payment information it brings you to another page to confirm your purchase. The confirm button is right after where it says your being shipped 30day supply of Beard Czar for $4.95. However 15 days later I was charged $89.99. I called to see why I was charged and was hung up on every single time. I called 4 times in one day, every single time I was spoken to very rude and when I would ask to speak with a supervisor they would hang up on. I was also told they don't do refunds to anything that has been open, but on the website it sates I spoke with 4 different people and had the same results. I was never able to speak with a supervisor however they told me that on the website it "CLEARLY STATES" you are given a 14 day trail period and if you do not cancel and send by the item in 14 day you will be charged in full. I was unable to find this anywhere in clear site on the website. I had to ask her where it was. I found it way at the bottom of the page under a link labeled terms and conditions. May I remind you there is no box you check or anything that says you have read terms and conditions, nor does it even say to read them as I couldn't even find them. However under terms and conditions it states under number 10 what the lady had told me over the phone. I feel this is set up this way to make people think they are getting their first bottle for free just so that they can really be charged the whole price. They know people won't go and see the terms and conditions as they have them hidden at the bottom of the page. I also found it to be extremely unprofeccional on how there customer service treated me when I called. I would never and will never use or recommend this product to anyone.

When ordering price stated it was a low price but charged an extra 90 dollars and when talking to customer service were rude made fun of last name and hung up on us. They are a scam trying to make money and charging more than advertised. They are rude and and a ridiculous excuse for a business.

Bought the free trial paid the 4.95 shipping. I used my debit card and downloaded a mobile calling app so they wouldnt have my real phone number. Called and asked customer service some questions, including whether there would be recurring charges. I was told there was and I could cancel once I got my products. 2 days later I got a call one the number I used from an Indian guy saying he was from ups and needed me to confirm all my credit card info and address and name and stuff. When I asked why he said the packages were messed up and needed me to confirm. I told him I wasn't comfortable confirming all my info over the phone. He instantly hung up and would not answer my calls. I called in for customer service again and the woman told me they DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFO. (even though he called me on the number that I only used for their company). She told me she'd cancel my subscription and let me keep the products I got for my 4.95 trial instead of having to send them back. I asked to talk to a manager and she said supervisors don't take calls. I replied by telling her I need to talk to a manager and she hung up on me. I called back and asked for a manager and was again told that they don't take calls. I told her I was contacting the Revdex.com and what happened with my personal information and she said she'll see if a manager was around. After 15 mins waiting on hold she told me they refunded my shipping and that in the terms and conditions it stated that they can give my information (personal and credit card) to other companies for marketing (even though this guy that called me wasn't selling anything. Just stole my info.) I told her I was contacting my lawyer and she hung up on me. This company needs shut down.

AWFUL! SCAM!!! My husband heard about this on the radio and so he purchased it. He thought it was ONE bottle for $4.95. I saw three charges in my bank. One was from [redacted] another was [redacted] and then the last was [redacted]. When I looked it up, I saw on their website it said after the trial it would charge $90 so I immediately called and cancelled (2 days after the original purchase date). When I spoke with them they said he ordered TWO different bottles and that's why they charged two and that there was another $1.95 for shipping (even though I thought the $4.95 was supposed to be the shipping charge to begin with!) We got the supplements and then 5 days later I saw a charge from [redacted] for $20.20. I didn't recognize this when I looked it up as it was for a web design company. When I called the number, the man who sounded like he was not in the USA, said that it was for the beard supplements. I complained and supposedly they are going to refund our money... I'm waiting to see if that happens. I had already reported the card to the bank as I assumed this was a fraud charge. Also, one of the bottles they completely covered a separate label for the product!!! How am I to know that what is in the bottle is actually what they say?
