I called customer service and cancelled my account, and was told it had been cancelledI then told the rep why I was cancelling, and she told me that the system doesn't look for individual people, but for namesThe conversation lasted several minutes, but in the end we didn't get anywhereAs a customer, I see a service like this as providing information on specific people, and the rep said that the system can only look for namesI don't know whether to call it innacurate or misleading, but I cut my losses and cancelled my account
It was a very friendly system so decided I try and do a search on myself to see how things would work Unfortunately the search didn't come with accurate information so I decided to cancel I called to cancel and it was a simple easy process and the customer service rep was very helpful I would recommend if you needed to check backgrounds often

None of the things that I was looking for appeared anywhere. So I decided to do a test of persons known in my area (mostly through local police websites) of recent and earlier arrest and conviction records.
I could Google these names and get more information than I could by using my subsription at PERSOPO!
I only wanted my husbands divorce records and had such a hard time getting onto the site I thought my order never went through! Then I saw the charge on my card I was so mad but when I called in I spoke with a devin that said something went wrong when I signed up she even knew what my browser was from the situation! She gave me my money back anyways and I updated my computer so this won't happen again! No complaints here
Disgusting company. This is the only one that has a 10-20 day wait time to remove your information. It is bad enough they publish your information against your will but then to keep your information exposed for that long when you request removal is even worse. I am not a criminal and have no criminal record nor have I ever harmed anyone! I would like the most basic level of my privacy respected.
I joined this site for 1 thing, a copy of my marriage and divorce decrees. I got a listing of the record but no way to download a copy of the certificate. I called in to ask why and I talked to [redacted] and even though he stuttered through half the call which I had to laugh at, he was very kind to me. He explained they offer records, but its illegal for their website to give actual copies of certificates which I didn't know! Sucks I have to go to the courthouse anyways but this service is not as bas as everyone is making it out to be. They definitely helped me at least get the dates to make an official request to the courthouse (another thing I didnt know) Seems like other people just got bad or untrained reps, [redacted] was awesome! Will definitely recommend for anyone that needs more info about something!
Just needed to look up an ex. Found his new address to serve child support papers. The girl told me the ins and outs of the site and was great even stopping next months bill so I didn't forget! These folks did right by me, would happily recommend to anyone I know!
I'll acknowledge that I did speed read through the terms of service agreement before I signed up for this service. If I'd read more closely I would've seen that just because the service can find records on an individual, that doesn't mean that the county or state with those records will allow Persopo to access those records, making them available to the consumer. So the 4 reports that Persopo "found" on an old friend, the ones that lead me to shell out $19.95, were never available to me. I found this tactic misleading. But determined to get my money's worth, I ran a dozen reports on other people, three of whom have recent criminal records, and I got zero results. Feeling duped, I shot off an angry email to their customer service department, which was met with an angry reply. I was called "loud mouthed" and "threatening" for stating that I'd like a refund of my money since they'd returned no results for my $19.95. Did I state it pretty rudely? Sure. Did I use foul language? No. Was taking a hostile tone inappropriate? Yes. But I was so fed up that (and here's the "threat") I stated if they didn't refund my money, I was going to contact the Revdex.com. I obviously didn't realize at the time that this company isn't even accredited by the Revdex.com. This whole experience has taught me to do my research on the companies I give business to. I wouldn't recommend using Persopo and I would highly recommend reading the fine print of the terms and agreements for any people search engine you use.
I called customer service and to my surprise unlike many companies and organizations I was able to speak to a human being and not a computer. Customer service was easy to reach. I was recently a victim of Identity theft. The retailer [redacted] the perpetrator used my name and SSN to purchase a [redacted] Card and made purchases online) gave me information about the fraudulent account to include a shipping address used for online purchases. Persopo helped me make a connection with the shipping address to someone I work with (the suspects grandfather lives there). It was money well spent!!
Persopo really backs up everything they advertise.

I paid the $1.00 for the trial to see wat these ppl really could find out. They didn't find anything I couldn't find for myself! I waited SEVEN DAYS for information besides the basic name, birthdate, and place of residence FOUR YEARS AGO! I never received any new info since. Now without my consent, they took out a months pymt that I haven't even had so I am tryin to speak to someone about being billed for services I haven't even used n unauthorized witgdrawal of $ 29.93 for services not rendered.My trial period hasn't even expired n I expressed I wasn't going to keep their services. Who do I need to speak to about my money. I didn't want this service n they are accurate in their advertisements!
IMy membership to Persopo allowed me to locate relatives for a family reunion. I would recommend this site due to the extensive and well organized search options. It would be very helpful to organizers trying to have a successful high school or college reunion.
It was so easy to register and just as easy to cancel this membership. The contact us button gives the phone number which was probably much faster than going back and forth with emails. [redacted] was gracious and helpful when it came time for me to cancel.
Be aware that you need to use all probable name spellings and use of initials to get the best reults. So put in the effort and you won't be disappointed.
I took the trial session because upon searching for the person I was amazed how quickly there was info. which lead me to believe ok sound right, but upon signing up each day I signed on for an update there was none close to the fifth day still no update so I called and cancelled was not billed further but was very disappointed . Would not recommend it at all to anyone its like they keep you in suspense while the five days go by so they can charge you. Had I gotten results other than what I already knew such as address. name, family, and phone number wow really? I would have kept the membership but no cancelled.
