The Brokerage House Realtors Reviews (%countItem)

We listed our house through The Brokerage House Realtors and managed to sell the house in four weeks at 10% above our asking price. They have a super efficient sales team who go the extra mile to ensure that your property gets the highest visibility and buyer footfalls. Thank you Brokerage House Realtors.

I would give a zero star if I could. I have heard their ads for years and thought I would give them a shot. Plus 29 and gone right???? Well I should have said no when we got a sales pitch on how they were the best and they would sell it super fast because that is what they do. Spending millions on advertising home all over the US. I was told I did not qualify for the 29 and gone program. Singed the contract and went along with it anyways. Home was priced very competitively and lost price per square foot than any other home in the area. Realtor said it was priced very well and should be showing quickly. We showed it once in 10 days. Then the phone call came that he priced the home wrong and we needed to drop the price by $20,000+ to drive more interest and sell it faster. OK if it was a million dollar home but not one that is in the $300,000 range. So the pressure came over and over again to drop the price. Made a slight adjustment but that was not good enough and were pressured to drop more and more and more. The advertisement and promises are worthless. I think other realtors avoid dealing with the Brokerage House as they are pushy and rude. We feel we have lost out on selling our home as the market is stale at this point. We now need to wait while paying two mortgages. Do not use them as a realtor.

The Brokerage House Realtors Response • Nov 23, 2019

We are very sorry and also surprised to hear this. The property in question is ***. Our goal is to maximize the return to our sellers in any way possible. This property was not competitively priced but was priced at the top end of the market. This was discussed on several occasions between the seller and multiple members of our Team. We utilized comparable properties, feedback from brokers, and market activity to make suggestions to the seller as to what it will take to sell. We have suggested a reduction of the price as this property has been actively marketed with many open houses since July. The seller has every right to not reduce their price but we feel that open house after open house, feedback from brokers and 4 months of market time are clear indicators of the markets response to the price. Our duty is to advise our clients as to what the market is showing and what steps can be taken to find an acceptable buyer. We understand that the prospect of perceived bad news can be frustrating and will continue to work towards a successful result in line with the seller's expectations.

several agents called me and relatives from out of state after my listing end on a house. they have these numbers ending in *** and *** and they obviously have several names and are using intellius to bug relatives of homeowners. be careful with these people.

I would give zero stars but that isn't an option.
Once I listed my vacant land by owner on Zillow, I received several calls from Rian Group wanting to list my property. The first time they called, I spoke with an aggressive "agent" and I told him I didn't want to list my property with them and to please not contact me. Since then, it's non stop calls. There are at least 5 per day and all from different phone numbers. I wouldn't list my property with them at ANY cost.

Answered a call tonight from a woman extolling the attractiveness of my "For Sale By Owner" home I listed on ***. After a few complimentary comments I asked if she was a private party or a real estate agent. She told me she was neither and that she was calling on behalf of "Mark" with The Rian Group and went on with a seemingly scripted presentation of how they could help me market my home. I told her I was not interested in dealing with an agent at this point and was intent on feeling out the market myself. She was beyond insistent from that point on. I finally told her NO and that I did not want to make an appointment with them or discuss any further. She went on as though I said nothing to her. I finally interrupted her and told her she was obnoxious to carry on with her high pressure sales technique and that she had absolutely alienated me from ever doing any business with The Rian Group. She STILL persisted until I said goodbye and hung-up. I called the number she called me from, (541)203-*** and got an answering machine message from The Rian Group. I *** them and found they are out of Portland Oregon and have a poor rating. I left a one-star rating for them because a zero-star rating was not available.

The worst real estate service I have ever had or even heard of. All promises; no results. After a terrific sales pitch about all of the wonderful services they perform and the vast reach they have to bring in traffic and get the house sold. They did worse than nothing to get the job done.
Open house? a couple of hours with no promotion. We had to call several times just to be sure the listing was actually up to date. They put the first open house date in the body of the primary description and it stayed there for months, until we called them on it. The agent, Jason, actually said, when we told him that there weren't any flyers in the box that he didn't know because he hadn't actually been to the house since it was listed several months ago. A few days later we stopped by and there was a stack of flyers in driveway. I wonder how they were supposed to jump up and get in the box? They have an employee that is supposed to call once a week to give you updates on activity. He called maybe 6 times in 6 months, with the exciting news that x number of people had looked at the MLS listing. Useless. "Sell in 30 days or we will buy it" Oh sorry that's a different program where you list your house for WAY less than it's worth and of course they will buy it. These guys are all about snagging your listing and praying some hard working agent from another company will come with a buyer. Don't fall for it.

Keep getting calls from the rian group on my cell# no person there and then the call drops. WT_? WILL NEVER DO TRANSACTIONS WITH THIS LOW LIFE AGENCY!

When we made the decision to relocate from Oregon to Texas, we chose The Rian Group based on some feedback and reviews. As it turned out, worst decision and I would strongly recommend anyone looking at this real estate team to reconsider. Our agent, Jason, told us upfront about how he would be in close communication and keep us informed through out the process. His idea of communication was short, non-helpful texts. Even after finally talking to him and asking him for verbal communication, it was a constant pull to find out information. My husband talked to his supervisors and while they gave good lip-service, the experience still was awful. We had to do the majority of leg-work for open houses. The vet first one we had , the agent showed up late, no advertising was done and no signs placed in the neighborhood!! So guess what- no one came to that open house! Within 2 weeks of placing our home on the market, Jason was already talking about lowering the price. We did not as it was right at the beginning of the holidays. My husband was constantly watching the market for trends of the homes selling and the prices. Again, us doing the work. After almost 6 weeks- another email from Jason vs a call-“it’s time for us to get real!!” What kind of customer service is this?? He had us pretty upset with his text. We had already decided to lower the price on the house. We did the drive of getting open houses because otherwise it wouldn’t happen. My husband stayed for most of the open house times so he could answer questions-the Rian Group sends agents to the house who know nothing about the home or community. Finally an offer - 10% less than the asking price and of course Jason states we should take it!! Wrong - he didn’t even want to do his job and work for us. We finally ended up with a negotiated price and had another offer come in. In the end, we are ok with what we sold it for. But we had to stay connected with the Title company to find out when closing would occur. Jason never did get back to us so we would know. He didn’t call him to ask if we had questions. He didn’t show up, even after all papers signed. In stark contrast, our realtor in Texas has been amazing and very helpful with reviewing documents, working with the Title company and finance company so we could have accurate information and sign all the paperwork in Oregon since we also had to work with the movers. Finally as we are wrapping up the house, still no Jason. My husband had to reach out to find out what to do with the keys. There are additional occurrences of Jason’s Incompetence but also the lack of caring from The Rian Group. Go with someone who treats you with care and respect. This is NOT that team.

The Rian Company has been calling me for weeks using different numbers, and the caller does not identify themselves unless I ask. I 'm not sure how they got my cell phone number. They've asked repeatedly about our property and said it was listed for sale last year. It wasn't. I've asked them to stop calling and they have not. Questionable business practices at best and nothing like real estate agents I have worked with in the past. Run, don't walk away from dealing with this company.

We had a representative of the Rian Group come out to our home just to give us a general value as we were not quite ready to sell yet but wanted to see how much they thought we could list it for. Their agent did a lot of slick talking, much like a used car salesman, and got us excited about dealing with them. Before signing anything I specifically told them I would like a week to think about things and were told that was no problem. This was on a Saturday and we called them the following Monday to tell them we had decided not to list our home and they said it was too late that I was now under contract with them for 6 months. So now I can do nothing with my home unless I do it with them. They will not release me from my "contract". They also placed their sign in my yard and didn't remove it until 4 days after I asked that it be removed immediately. I feel like I should should charge them for the advertising! This is the worse experience I have ever had. Do not work with this company! I wish I had read the reviews on the Revdex.com website before I had them come out to my house. If I could give them negative stars I would!!

I just had my house sold using Chris W of RIAN real estate in Olympia WA. I have bought or sold 7 houses and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The RIAN real estate group called me repeatedly trying to get my business but once my home was listed with them they didn't do anything to help sell my home. They provided no advice, guidance or suggestions. I did everything myself except put it on the internet. Paperwork was completed incorrectly several times and had to be done again and again. It was actually easier to do a for sale by owner which I did on another house. If this company and Chris W in particular contact you about selling your home, run!
