Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I was not offered an appointment time to remedy the issues I also did not "demand to be at the house by the end of the week" - I requested a response for resolution by the end of the week (email attached for reference) I did not receive a response I am able to meet in the afternoon during the week if an appointment can be scheduled to remedy the issues Regards, [redacted]

In response to complaint ID [redacted] This is a Procraft customer, the customer contacted our location in regards to the installation of the granite, the crew did not load the customers sink on the truck prior to installation however the sink was immediately delivered to the customers house during installation (sink was never lost) the customer then called with concerns in regards dust accumulations from the cooktop cutout which they were notified of prior ( they reviewed and signed the terms and conditions that convers dust accumulations etc..) The customer called stating their alarm company contacted them, never anything about a fire department being dispatchedThe customer never paid the additional amount for additional decorative ogee edging beyond the island, the crews came out the next day to address the customers concernsAfter the customers concerns were addressed the customer then contacted our location stating 'they want money back and if they do not receive any money back they will be writing reviews on Angie's list and wherever else they couldWe stand behind our work and address any issue that may arise during an installation and all concerns are addressed during the time of purchase(We will fax over the customers Invoive and Terms/Conditions)

Revdex.com: We are paid in full! If they have no issues making it right why haven't they? Please make it right! No response has been heard from the cabinet and granite depot and we are paid in full

I am rejecting this response because they CLEARLY use their contract to validate any poor production issues they provide in their contract, "Seams will be inconspicuous" is a problem with my granite provided, because their poor decision to fabricate the granite against the grain of the product made sure the seams was nothing but conspicuous! I do not believe their fabricators used experience or knowledge of my kitchen layout when they cut the granite, otherwise their installer would not have walked off the job telling me they had made an error and would fix it! Again, if they had needed additional monies to make the granite flow properly, they should have alerted me prior to installation of a poor fabrication! Holding my project hostage for additional money is shameful!

We addressed the customers concerns however he said he is only mins away to call prior to coming and has never had an issue with the times coming out until nowWe doid not install the cabinets and are a little confused because this was never an issue until now moreover our installers took pictures of all work addressed along with items in the work area that were moved and would never take anything from a customers houseThe only thing that was not addressed with the customer is "money back" we originally have the customer the granite "bianco antico" at a discounted price and have addressed all the concerns several different timesWe fix any issues the May come up not throw money at them to make them go away

We will contact the customer to address his concerns on Monday October 3,

We provide itemized invoice receipts to our customers along with signed terms and conditions stating the granite price, color and installation protocols, the customer is required to be at the location at the time of arrival for countertop installation. At that point the customer can
refuse the granite if there are any issuesAfter the countertops are installed our installers provide a job completion certificate to the customer with a comments section where any notes can be made by the customer concerning the job. The customer commented "nice workers, polite.Worked fast." and signed the job completion certificate 12/29/as a satisfied customer. This completion certificate clearly states the name of the granite as installed and provides the customer with a final opportunity to address any issues with the installation before the crew leaves. We have scheduled an additional date to address any further installation concerns the customer has as an act of good will. Attached will be a copy of the Job Completion Certificate

The job was installed and everything looked beautiful, the customer signed the job completion form with no complaints and they were satisfiedThe customer came in a day or so after install and stated they were not happy with a particular natural crystal located in their
stone; moreover we agreed to replace the piece she was not happy with without any additional chargesThe customer viewed the piece and we scheduled the replacement piece to be installed on 5-19-however the customer called their credit card company a day or so prior to us coming out and disputed the charges they paid with a chargebackWhen a customer does a chargeback we can not move forward with the process because the job is not paid, we are not even sure why the customer disputed anything because they came in and we agreed on everything originally with no issuesThe customer stated they would come back in with a check on 5-18-and tried to even use another credit card to make the purchase again, we have to get the originally disputed taken care of before we move further with any additional actions. We will fax over a copy of the signed terms and conditions

In Response to Mr***'s complaint The customers initial call and complaint was in regards to not re-grouting the existing backsplash after the new granite countertops were installedIn our terms and conditions it clearly states "There may have some avoidable damages to existing tile
backsplash, drywall and wall covering when there is removal, sometimes, we may have to cut into the drywall or plaster to fit in granite, we will not be responsible for any repairs to drywall." The customer signed and received a copy of our terms and conditions, our crews do the best they can in every situation to limit any possible damages. The customers faucet hole was drilled in the correct spot moreover there was a wood scribe under the cabinets preventing the soap dispenser bottle from attaching to the top, we inspected the situation and fix the issues that was not caused by us for no additional chargeAlso we sent a trim repair consultant out to take a look at the damaged trim for no additional cost, as stated in our terms and conditions we not responsible for any unavoidable damages however we wanted to try to help the customer find a solution

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The cabinets that were delivered were not the same as the ones ordered I ordered the same cabinets that are in the Florence showroom, which are dark cherry inside and out The ones shipped are dark cherry on the outside but light oak on the inside This is a big issue since many of the doors are glass This was outlined in the original complaint

Regards,
*** *** Cabinet and Granite Depot did address these issues on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.1. Moved electric to dining room wall, so kitchen light switches are now accessible.2. Did replace damaged cabinet doors and fixed rocking hinges.3. Did install new threshold plate at back door.4. Stove was moved back closer to wall just by unkinking gas line. The remaining issue is the dishwasher being at a 25" opening as opposed to a 24" opening, making the stove sit flush to the wall on the right side by the back doorStill can't open stove door when door trim is installed so the wall is unfinished. The damage and replacement to the backsplash was understood and only became an issue when Aaron replied to the original complaint, using that as the reason the stove wouldn't fitThe only person I hired and paid was a plumber as agreed when the contract was signedNo past or present employee of the Cabinet and Granite Depot was hired by me for any work done in my homeWhether the issues with appliances not fitting is due to erroneous measurements, or installer error, again that is Cabinet and Granite Depot's responsibility to fix, particularly since Aaron states he stands by their workand the contract I signed has all appliances in place with door trim installed.Lastly, if I owed Cabinet and Granite Depot money for work they did, I'm guessing they would use all avenues at their disposal to collect

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this
matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] First and foremost, my written remarks on the form from the Granite Depot that was scanned in was made just after the granite was installedOnce I was able to get over the huge mess that the installers made in my house I was able to take a closer look at the granite and see the excessive amount of cracks or fischers throughout the entire bar areaI was also able to see with the naked eye that the granite was not level in several areas which was confirmed by checking it with a level
Secondly, I was finally able to get the manager, *** to come to my house in person and address the concerns that I haveOnce again he was late! None the less *** looked at the granite and stated himself that the columns looked like crap. He also acknowledged that there were leveling issues with the granite and that they drilled a hole in the side of my new cabinet. *** stated that they would come up with a resolution to make me happyI waited days to hear back from the ***I called *** after another extensive time delay*** advised me that he sent an email just prior to my callI reviewed the email with him while I was on the phone*** stated that he would be willing to replace the granite on my columns and level the graniteHe provided no resolution to the mess his employees created in my house and the poor quality of the granite that was installedIn addition, *** stated that he would repair instead of replace the brand new cabinet that was damaged and also offered to install tile for free for their mistakes
I was extremely disappointed with his response and his demeanor while responding! I don't trust their craftsmanship to "repair my cabinet", much less the offer to install my tile for free! *** stated that he would contact me on Monday to try and get me worked into his schedule in order to replace the granite on my columns and level my counter topsI feel that the craftsmanship is horrible, the customer service is atrocious, and that the overall experience is appalling! I advised *** that I would be disputing the charge on my credit car and that I would be contacting the Revdex.comthe media, and an attorneyThe Cabinet and Granite Depot has totally failed me thus far and I don't have much confidence that they will make this complaint right!!Regards,*** ***

We went out to the customers house and addressed his concerns, everything is complete

Three of the cabinets doors were in different sizes, they were manufacturer defect and have already been ordered, Mr*** should have been informed by our sales rep already, if not we do apology for that, our office did not get the exact sizes until the 5/17, we had placed the replace
doors, it usually take two to three weeks to get them in.Thank you,*** ***

We will be in touch with the customer to schedule a time to address their concerns

We originally came out to template the customers job, after the template was completed the customer called into the office a day or so later to change the agreed upon radius for the bartop to a different radius which was already fabricatedUpon installation the customer called in and did not want the radius he originally chose and requested a 50% refund and we told the customer we would refabricate the piece and take care of the issue, moreover, the customer didn't want to wait for the new piece and accepted the piece with the original radiusA couple days later the customer called and said there was a crack in the riser (exactly where the hole to tighten the receptacle was over tightened by the customer) however we are still willing to come out to address the issue @ no additional chargeWe stand behind our work and are willing to replace the piece and address the customers concerns however we do not give money back to address issues, we fix them

We have no issue replacing the piece, it was already scheduled to be replaced at no additional cost however the customers disputed their credit card the day prior to us coming out for their replacement pieceAs the customer knows when a card is disputed we receive a charge back therefore the job is no longer paid for, the customer is full aware of our policyWe contacted the customer to let them know we would not be coming until the issue was resolved with the dispute, the customer then tried to pay with credit card which we had been advised not to accept when in dispute then offered the customer the option to pay with checkThis piece would have already been replaced if the customer had not disputed their purchase, they came in to verify the piece and that they were on our schedule, we agreed to replace a piece with no issues or additional fees which leaves us confused on why they would even dispute anything
