The Conner Homes Group Reviews (%countItem)

I echo the previous comments. Issues, galore and the warranty means nothing to them. Multiple homes in our neighborhood have had roof and leaking issues. Conner forced the owners to go through their insurance. These are 5 year old homes! The owner is culpable and his warranty staff lack sufficient customer focus. DO NOT BUY!

We purchased our home 6 months ago and have received nothing but problems ever since. The customer service once you purchase the home is a 0. They do not care about you once they receive their money. The home is built with cheap labor and Conner Homes cuts every corner they can. They even went as far as sending me a paragraph from the Limited warranty contract stating that they have met the bare minimum for what needs to be done on only 1 of MANY issues on our warranty list. The head of the warranty department does not call/ email you back. I would give them ZERO stars if I could. ***DO NOT BUY ONE OF THEIR HOMES

Over the summer I was contacted by the *** that my water usage was running at a high rate, and was perhaps indicating a leak. I tracked down the problem location being somewhere between the water shutoff in garage, and the main water main. After spending several days tracking down whom the irrigation control valve belonged to, I found out that neither the *** or City of *** owned the valve, I did. In the meantime I was having to constantly run back and forth to main as to not continue wasting water and my money.

Eventually I had to take 2 vacation days off from work while I sought a plumber late in the week. I was eventually able to get a plumber out to my house on a Friday. The plumber began by digging a large hole in my front yard. As the irrigation control valve was buried approximately 4 feet deep, the plumber told me I would save a large amount of money if I dug the hole myself and said he came back later in the day when I found the leak. As the size of the hole I needed to dig was enormous, I called a friend to help with the process as I would never be able to dig and remove the soil on my own within the day. We spent many hours, and ruined several shop vac filters sucking up days worth of excess water pouring into the dugout hole.

While digging I had many people walk by from the neighborhood tell me that they too have a Conner Home, and that the same thing happened to them or their neighbor. I walk on a daily basis in my neighborhood, and can attest to having seen this on other Connor Homes. Several of the people told me Conner Homes fixed their same leak. After my work was complete I submitted a water adjustment with the City of Bonney Lake. They informed me this was a problem they noticed in my neighborhood with Connor Homes and said I should submit for reimbursement with them. I emailed Conner Homes but they declined to offer any reimbursement for my days off or plumber I had to hire. This is my second plumbing issue already.

The Conner Homes Group Response • Oct 31, 2018

Hello,

Although Mr. is correct regarding the history of our service work in his neighborhood, Conner Homes has no obligation to him for two reasons. First, we delivered this home to our customer, *** on March 4, 2011. The warranty we provided was to her and was never assigned to Mr. who is the second owner. He acquired the home in a resale transaction on February 26, 2014.

Secondly, even if the warranty was properly assigned, it has long since expired. As written in our Limited Warranty, plumbing components are warranted for two years past the original close of escrow.

I've attached the deeds as back up for the dates stated above. If there are any other questions, please contact:

Conner Homes, with its sterile and modern designs boasts its high level of customer service and fantastic warranty.
Once you buy your home, be prepared for the old bait and switch. From the get go, we experienced issues, like no internet outlet in the office space or the den (which was promised). It took weeks of follow up to resolve.
Now, 1.5 yrs later we are still waiting on multiple issues to be resolved. Calls made to the owner were effective but only temporarily as we still seem to be at a stand-off. It seems their customer service rivals that of ***..but at least *** eventually shows up. If you have another option for a builder, consider it first.
