Refuse to Answer where my Payments have gone to
I contacted them through a flyer I received and was super excited to clear my debt. I was with them for a little over a year. sending them a big chunk of money per month. I unfortunately lost my job during Covid so clearly I had to stop payments. I had asked repeatedly where is all the money I've sent them during that time since they never made a payment to any of the credit card accounts I gave them to consolidate and even requested an itemized proof of any payments. close to 12,000 in payments and today I get a notice one was sent to collections. so basically they kept my money and never paid off any of my account. I am so disappointed

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The D [redacted] Law Firm does not answer the complaint at allJust as ientioned in my original Complaint to the Revdex.comNONE of the issues, none of my concerns, none of the illegal acts concerning misuse of my credit report involving NEGOTIATING AND SETTLING ACCOUNTS WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE was ever touched upon by this "firm" in this replyThis firm has NOT made numerous attempts to reach my attorneyThe firm made one call to Attorney S [redacted] with an attempt to negotiate yet Another Settlement on a credit card account left undone with Sam's Club, at which time Brian D [redacted] is so involved in settling this account to make his profit (his commission) from the deal, the call to my attorney was made AFTER JUNE *, 2016, THE DATE I CANCELLED MY CONTRACT AND FIRED D [redacted] LAW FIRM, BOTH IN WRITING, BY E-MAIL AND BY LEAVING TWO VOICE MESSAGES, WHERE A " JESSICA" RETURNED MY CALLAgain not one owner, or one associate has confirmed, not even on THIS REPLY, how much MONEY OF THE $ 8, OF MINE THEY HAVE TAKEN FROM ME EVERY MONTH IS STILL IN AN ESCROW ACCOUNT AND NOR DID THEY PROVIDE AN ITEMIZATION OF ACCOUNTS SETTLED INC AMOUNTS WITH FEES ACCRUED FOR THE Revdex.com OR MY ATTORNEY AS HE REQUESTED; AS WELL AS A Complete copy of my file sent to him for reviewI will be in direct contact with my attorney next week to discuss moving forward to see this company get what's coming to themI am not stopping at no point until I get justice, whereas I receive my money back paid in full and damages also granted as I have been wrongfully misleaded and taken full advantage of and as a result has suffered mentally and financiallyI will do all in my power to see this unfortunate circumstance doesn't happen to another woman as trusting and too open and kind as myself In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

As it turned out [redacted] acknowledged she misunderstood the terms of cancellation and the $113 was, in fact, a RETURN OF MONIES and not a charge to her. She apologized for the hasty complaint and involvement of the BBB and even promised to request this complaint be retracted. The Davis Law Group is a law firm with licensed attorneys that stand behind their work. We expect this will conclude the matter to everyone's satisfaction.

We appreciate the opportunity to respondWe are taken aback by [redacted] ’s dissatisfactionTo date we have resolved over $10,of [redacted] ’s $17,debt, saving her over $6, [redacted] has made numerous statements, innuendo’s and even went so far as to personally attack and mischaracterize the relationship of professionals involved in helping to provide her a service [redacted] has left numerous, voice mail messages which can only be described as emotional rants, well after business hours when she knows the call had no chance of being answeredThese recorded messages are laden with foul language and threatsWe have no knowledge of, nor did we interfere with her “Gap card”We have provided [redacted] with written documentation as well as verbal updates regarding the services providedWe have made every effort to resolve the matter with her and the attorney she advised was representing herWe remain ready and willing to continue to work with [redacted] and/or her counsel to bring this matter to a mutually agreeable and full resolutionUnless [redacted] or her counsel contact the firm we can only assume it is not her intention to resolve the matter but instead to bring harm to the firm’s otherwise stellar reputation by abusing the public forum the Revdex.com provides to good, honest consumersOnce again, we respectfully request she or her counsel contact the firm

We struggled with our debt for years...taking one step forward, two steps back...after speaking with a representative it was about 4-months later that we finally made the move...the decision did not come lightly BUT we were sinking and could see no way out
After signing up, I felt such a huge relief
After receiving call that one of the debts had been settled...I literally cried...there are no words to describe the appreciation I have for this group...They have given me hope and for that I am sincerely grateful!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The response given from the Davis Law Group is still not accurate to my complaintI have been the one in the last months sending them letters from creditors and contacting them to confirm, the David Kaw Group only recently, when I stopped payment has decided to contact me They are the ones who offered this program to help me in my debt, my complaint is not pertaining to not being snake to afford it, my complaint is they have done nothing in months to help settle any debt, therefore I am now being sued my *** credit cardAfter a call with management and bunch of lies they tried to tell me that they have been negotiating with *** *** and ***, ironically the creditors that are most after meI spoke to *** *** and they told me they have not heard from the Davis Law group about any negotiations or settlementsThey only received a letter back in May stating power of attorney and nothing sinceI asked Davis Law group to send me an itamized statement of what they have done on m behalf that they feel they earned of my money with times and datesIn return they sent me bullets of broad statements that they claimed they did with no details to followI can't see how they can stand behind this when *** *** states on a recorded line they have never spoken to themTherefore, their rebuttal to my complaint is still not addressing the issue, besides trying to Again go around in circles to the real issue in this matter which is again they do not deserve to keep the from since they did nothing on my behalfI understood the program, I trusted them and in return I am being sued and robbed of 6,Lastly, I have only heard from them this week after I stopped payment For months I would get an automated email back when I sent paperwork pertaining to the creditorsWhen I do call you get a different person each timeI am speaking with a lawyer and took back power of attorney on all my creditors.

Re: Complaint # [redacted]       [redacted]Dear [redacted] The Davis Law Group respectfully denies all of the allegations made by [redacted] was advised after initial review of his financial situation that it was the opinion of the...

firm that he was at an increased risk of litigation due to one or more factors; including, but not limited to having significantly more equity in his home than the almost $30,000 he had in unsecured credit card debt. [redacted] desired to proceed regardless and executed an additional declaration of risk whereby [redacted] acknowledged the following:“I understand that there is an increased risk that one or more creditors that I enroll in the program could file a lawsuit against me to satisfy their debt since I have equity at or in excess of my total enrolled debt. I was warned about this risk and elected to proceed anyway. I agree to accept this increased level of risk of litigation and fully understand the consequences…….Understanding these negative consequences, I still want to participate in the [program]……I have had a chance to review all of the facts and the information in this declaration as well as have had the opportunity to have all of my questions answered by people affiliated and unaffiliated with the Davis Law Group, P.C. including independent lawyers.” The firm notified each of the enrolled creditors of [redacted]’s representation and [redacted] received evidence of such. In fact, [redacted], attorneys for [redacted], Citibank, in a letter dated November **, 2014 notes “[Citibank] has advised us that [The Davis Law Group] represent[s] the debtor…” (see attached)[redacted] was advised, given his circumstances, it would take an estimated twenty-eight (28) months to fully resolve his enrolled. In January, the sixth (6th) month, [redacted] submitted a civil complaint filed against him by Citibank, [redacted]. In the same month, [redacted] failed to make his agreed monthly deposit. Nevertheless, as the firm is in the business of assisting people with financial hardship, negotiations continued and the firm was successful in obtaining an offer to settle the account currently in litigation for forty (40%) less than the current balance; with the possibility of payment in several installments. Unfortunately [redacted] terminated his agreement with the firm shortly after we advised him of the settlement. The firm has made numerous attempts and until today has been unable to reach [redacted] to resolve the matter. The firm remains willing to reinstate [redacted] and continue to assist [redacted] in the resolution of his credit card debt and is currently working towards an amicable and mutually satisfactory resolution.

For the whole time we were on this program they demonstrated great capacity of professionalism. Ms. Lesly Torres thoroughly explained everything very well and was extremely helpful during this long process.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond. We have been in touch with [redacted] both before and after the date [redacted] contacted your office. [redacted] was given an estimated 42 month time frame for full resolution of the over $40,000 she carries in unsecured debt over only four (4) accounts....

Although we do have offers for resolution these offers are beyond what [redacted] can afford. We are open to further discussion with [redacted] regarding this matter and are confident we will reach a mutually agreeable resolution.
