Don't believe the haters...period.
These other people on here with their "crazy assed" reviews...of things that never could've happened. I read them...so, I called Perry, and had him install some doors...his to win, or lose.
Perry and Rich showed up, worked very professionally, Perry tried to be funny, Rich reassured him he wasn't.
2 doors installed.
Cleaned up and hauled off trash.
Planned to do more work on the house...they actually do it all.
So, I told them as they were leaving what I had done. Only called them to "test" their negative reviews...and they had passed with flying colors!
Perry, you'll discover, is the emotional one of the group and actually cried a little over the whole fake reviews he gets occasionally. Rich, however, assured everyone they'd be around longer than their haters!
Great job guys!

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The storm door was attached to the previous frame in the exact same manner for a minimum of years with no issues? There was no wind storm the day before as MrL [redacted] is referencing? The door broke from operation after months? There is a self closing mechanism to ensure the door CANNOT possibly blow open in the manner MrL [redacted] describes? Even if I threw the door open(more powerful than wind), it could not open to the extent MrL [redacted] is stating? He even said he would've repaired it if it occured after a couple weeks, but refused to do so since the door had gone through '100s of uses'? It's a door, it is meant to open and close? MrL [redacted] provided a year warranty on all work and refused to complete the repairs under warranty? Part of the contract included removing and reinstalling the storm door? MrL [redacted] did not state that the warranty was limited to certain items, it is simply a year warranty on all work which would include this? MrL [redacted] proceeded to write threatening emails and use vulgar language after I told I would be forced to contact the Revdex.com if he did not complete the repairs under warranty? He even threatened to show up at my house? He also threatened with a lawsuit? I was forced to contact the police and file a report as I was scare for my safety and felt that MrL [redacted] would trespass on my property? Thumbtack.com, the site he was hired through, agreed with my assessment of the situation and deactivated MrL***'s account as a result of this incidentThey attempted to charge the credit card on file for the es***ated cost of repair ($150) in an attempt to make me whole, but they were unsuccessful ? Looking at [redacted] and other sources, it is clear that this is a business practice for MrL***? The Revdex.com needs to protect other consumers from this contractor? MrL [redacted] needs to be held responsible for the cost of repairs under the terms of our contract and the written and implied warranty that was agreed to? A door is meant to open and close, not break the frame after months? The other acceptable resolution is to have a different contractor come out and repair the door & frame and MrL [redacted] pay for them? This was a brand new door and frame and it should last for more than months? This was not caused by anything other than operation.Side Note: ? The main door now struggles to lock, another indicator of install issues? Sincerely, [redacted] ***

As I stated previously, I don't warranty wind damageThis is the ONLY way this damage could have occurred and [redacted] contacted me the very day after a huge wind storm in our areaMy warranty covers adjustments of strike plates that may have shifted with house settling, and anything similar with my installationThis in no way was any fault of my installationI have been in this business for yearsI have fixed many "tear outs" such as thisIn EVERY situation the homeowner commented the wind blew the door open and ripped out the screws in the jambLarge screws such as these CANNOT just FALL OUTAs ? mathematics and physics major in college this is NOT how the screws work eitherThe stress is "sideways"...not "out" as in "tear out" as is obviousAt this point I would fix his door for free as this seems to be the only reason for him to be filing this complaint at allIt is obvious to everyone I have shown the pictures to and discussed what has occurred that he isn't telling the truthThank you for your ***e and considerationPerry L***

To whom it may concern, my associate and I quoted, ordered and installed the exact replacement door (one half of a french door set....new one had a doggy door installed in lower half) in [redacted] 's basement walk-out areaStrangely, as [redacted] ( [redacted] ...my associate....with me 100% of the time we were on this job) and I brought the door around the side of the house to the lower backyard area, the VERY FIRST words out of his mouth were..."Oh my God...my wife's gonna hate that and want a new door" [redacted] and I responded almost in unison..."Should we even install it, before she sees it"? You're clearly not telling the truth. I hope you realize anyone reading all your crap sees you for exactly what you are...a liar. Plain and simple. I don't know this other person, but you buddy...are clearly lying.

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The doorframe MrL [redacted] installed broke after months The agreement I signed stated there was a year warranty – it did not dictate whether that warranty was related specifically to malfunction or installation – it was simply a year warranty In addition, there is an implied warranty that the product sold/installed works for the purpose for which it is intended A door frame is intended to work more than months MrL [redacted] has never threatened to harm me, I never stated that He has simply been verbally abusive towards me ever since I made him aware of the broken door, which has made me scared for my safety He stated he was ‘coming over to fix your fking door’ and stated he was going to show up at my house a couple ***es without my permission Please see attached emails for reference All pictures posted to [redacted] are actual pictures of the work completed by MrL*** I have not lied about anything All of my statements are my opinion which I have a right to assert Per the attached email, MrL [redacted] offered to fix the door for $150, not $so that's another inaccuracy of MrL***'s account I wish I could have MrL [redacted] simply fix the door for free under warranty as he is now offering, but at this point I am not comfortable with him working on my house or being near me based on the emails and messages he has sent me over the past few months Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I did receive a text and a picture from [redacted] ***Just by seeing the picture I could tell, after years dealing with doors, storm doors, installation and repairs...this was not an everyday, ordinary faulty product claimAlso, this claim was made the day after an incredible wind storm we had in Denver and the surrounding areasThe physics of the screws in question do not handle stress of opening the storm door in the manner the torn out wood area was affectedThe ONLY way possible for this type of tear out is for the storm door to be pulled COMPLETELY around to the side of the house putting stress on the mounting bracket and therefore pulling the screws out of the woodThere is NO possible way large mounting screws can "just fall out" as [redacted] claimed they didNone....what-so-everI have been in this business for nearly years...I have seen this EXACT issue and replaced the jamb leg after "the wind caught my door and ripped it out of the jamb"...as EVERY customer described the issueAfter studying physics and mathematics in college, plus years of dealing with this exact issue, my ONLY conclusion is the previous days incredible wind storm caught the door and ripped it out of the jambNO warranty covers wind damage...and that is the only conclusionI told [redacted] I would gladly fix the wind damaged jamb for $150.00...but he refused and contacted Revdex.comMy customers satisfaction and my reputation mean everything to me...and I am always willing to work with my customers when dealing with any issue [redacted] was adamant that this was COMPLETELY my poor installation and wouldn't listen to any reasoning on the matter.? ? Thank you for your consideration in this matter...I can also have other contractors (of your choosing) provide input on this matter...and I will gladly pay for this repair if even ONE of them replies that it was in ANY way my faulty installation as [redacted] is claiming? Perry L***

No I haven't gotten a second opinion because I don't have the money to fix the door I purchased the door with a warranty of year It is not he said/she said The door frame broke and I have the pictures to prove it It is still broken and has even more issues now It won't lock properly, but I can't call Perry because i'm scared for my well being if he comes onto the property The state of colorado provides an implied warranty to consumers This is a clear violation of that I do not feel as though I should have to take ***e out of my day & another contractors day to meet and get their opinion on the door when I'm not going to be able to pay to have it fixed

Perry installed a new frame and door at my house on 2/23 and the frame broke 2 months later. The es***ate and bid that I received and signed stated that there was a 1 year warranty included. I contacted Perry the day after I noticed the damage and he refused to fix it. He stated that 'that is fixable but not something covered by any warranty' & '...if this had happened in the first few days I would agree...something was wrong...but nearly 3 months later...100's of uses...doesn't add up to a faulty piece of wood or installation error.' I'm not sure about other customers, but I would expect a brand new frame and door to last more than 2 months & '100's of uses'. It's a door, it is meant to be opened and closed. Perry claims that this is not from normal use and that I either did the damage or the wind did. Neither are accurate. There is a self closing mechanism that keeps the storm door from getting caught by the wind. I have lived in the house for 2 years and that door

*** installed a door in our basement with a doggie door, the fitment was never really correct and I ask him to come back and fix itAfter weeks he showed up and was here for about fifteen minutes and then said he needed a part and he left very quicklyI went downstairs to look at the door and it was a broken mess and looked way worse than before with pieces of wood on the carpet where he had broken the doorI called him and told him to come right back to fix itHe said "I had broke it and was just trying to frame him and to *** off because I had voted for *** and was a snob that always expected to get my wayI said yes I do when I am paying for a job I expect it done rightI have all the pictures and texts from that day where he continued to say I had broke the door to start troubleFor someone to question my integrity like this is totally unacceptable beyond that our door still looks like crap

I am rejecting this resolutionI have explained why this is not a malfunction of the product or the installationI am willing to provide the actual "physics" behind how the storm door works in the respect to the damage that occurredAlso, I have never threatened to harm *** ***He has lied on *** about me, posted pictures of "work" I had NOTHING to do with...at allI had *** inspect ALL of my work when completed and he LOVED it then...but now that the wind had obviously caught the door, as I have repaired numerous doors in the past, he has posted photos of "caulking" areas in his house that are TOTALLY unrelated to my door installationFor this matter I have contacted a lawyer to protect by business and myself from slander, as I stated to ***I stated I would fix the wind damage for a price of $100.00, as I have numerous ***esThis offer still stands, but in his case now I will fix it for free...however I will not refund any money as I have done nothing wrong in this job whatsoever.Thank you for your ***e and consideration, Perry HL***

I am rejecting this response because:Unfortunately I do not trust MrL*** to perform any additional work on my house Based on his hostile responses directly to me through email & ***, I am scared that he would further damage my home or potentially resort to violence against me or my property At this point, the only resolution I will accept is a refund of $which is the cost MrL*** initially told me he would repair the damage for
