I would never recommend this company! The sales person Eric L [redacted] made everything sound so great and decided my deck size for me which was ftwide and 10ft projectedI told them several times that seems small they said no its not it’s pretty bigOnce the deck was getting build I tried to call right away because I was not satisfied with the size at all and didn’t want them to waste their time to redue itI called, emailed, left voicemails and text messages and never hear nothing back from my sales rep EricHe basically disappearsNot to mention I had to reach out to them to see when they were coming outThe sales guy ensured me it would be done in July my deck was not started on until AugustThe fencing on the deck takes off a foot but do they tell you about that when they try to show you the measurements with a measuring tape NO!! Medallion installed a concrete patio at my home a few years ago with a Lifetime warrantyI called at the end of June to request they come out to take a look at the patio, as it had formed cracks and an entire corner piece where pavers were installed disconnected from the actual concrete patioI was asked to send in pictures of these items and did so on July 1, to [email protected] emailed Medallion again on July 5th asking if the pictures were received and would someone contact me to come out and inspect/fix the issuesNo replyI emailed again on July 14th and received an email on July 18th from Kermit Curry stating the following: We have sent the necessary information to the concrete installers we are waiting for the information to see when they will going to your location to take a look at the problemOnce we have confirmation we will call you and let you know when they can come out Thank you I have made several phone calls requesting assistanc

Well based off Medallion’s slogan “The Home Improvement Experts – Two Names One Great Company”, that’s fraudulent This company is the worst everI am truly disappointed in the Customer Service and Labor that's been provided with replacing my 8ft Iron Fence with a 10ft Iron Fence This company charged me $and within 2-years their product is totally worthlessThe fence is not sturdy to say the least; the latches do not close totally on either side of the gates The fence ties are all coming undone; the poles along the top of the fence are not even and totally separating from the fence The link fence is 11/inches from the ground and the installers instead of removing all the poles appropriately out the ground from the previous fence; they cut them and left they exposed therefore my dog cut his paw while walking along the fence line and had to have surgeryNeither to say with the 10ft fence Medallion installed is so flimsy both dogs my (Chow/Labrador and Yorkie/Poodle) are able to push the fence underneath and get out of the yard I have made numerous calls to this company requesting for assistance/restitution for the past years and have yet to receive any satisfaction on the work they performed So to all you homeowners looking for a security fence company BEWARE!!!!! I'm still waiting on restitution

Spring of 2016 my elderly mother purchased a new 3 panel Ornamental Security Door system with privacy glass. The company's rep that came out and sold the door told my mother that the privacy glass was one way and that no one would be able to see into her home if her interior door was left open. The problem, the doors glass neither provides privacy nor matches within the three sections on the main security door. The rep was contacted immediately when the installers scratched the glass and needed to be replaced and that the glass was not what he promised. The scratched glass panels were replaced with 2 different types of glass. The top panel section and middle section was replaced with clear glass while the bottom section was replaced with smoked "light brownish" glass. The rep was contacted a second time to report issues with the glass and he has never come out to meet with my mother and to see the replaced glass panels and he also retracted his statements about the glass being one way

My contact with Medallion Security Doors was breachedDoors were made for my house before my doors were measured at my home and before the deadline date to terminate my contractI sent in forms to terminate my contact and Medallion still opened a line of credit on my behalfIn addition, the line of credit was opened without me even having the doors or any resolution to the situationI was told by Micheal S*** the GM that I would be contacted by the Medallion lawayer to settled the issue and I never heard anything from a lawyerWhen asked how they gained access to my home to measure my doors I was told by the sales representative that they could have gain access through my neighbors house; which is trespassingThen I was told that they went off of other measurements in the neighborhood because they had other clients on the neighborhoodNevertheless, the doors to my home were never measured

I write this letter as all attempts have been exhausted to resolve this matter directly with Medallion
I had two Medallion sales representatives come to my home to help me select a security door that would best meet my needs as a senior citizen The sales representatives noted that the door selected would provide me with the ultimate protection, heavy metal and panels, ward off unwanted entry and durabilityAdditionally, I was advised this door would provide me with the advantage or visibility outside with limited exposure from that outside being able to see inside my home More importantly, my primary concern was being able to feel secure in my home The sales representatives assured me the door would provide all the safety and security features I had requested
In June when the door was installed, I contact the sales representative as the installer's reservations regarding the framing and gaps in the bottom of the door

I purchased a custom storm door that was delivered and installed on May I took off that day to be home for the installation, two technicians came to my home and installed the door After installation I noticed the door had about a to 1/gap between the locking mechanism and the door I contacted Medallion and spoke to the Service department, I spoke to Zerson and explained the situation, he said that technician would come to my home on Friday, May to look at the door Friday, the technician showed up around 3: He looked at the door and said "that is the way is supposed to look" I said that it should not look like that and please do not insult my intelligence He then said that he could adjust the door but it would rub against the side I said that is not acceptable and that he should speak to this supervisor and tell them that I said it is not acceptable I said to the technician that the option was that they could measure again and bring another door or rem

I had been wanting a stone patio for years MrEd Y*** presented me several options from which to choose He made it very clear that we can expand the design at anytime keeping us within budget I signed the contract a little more than a week ago and my fabulous patio was completed today It took the guys three days to complete the job It was so professionally done and I am so pleased and excited with the results A picture speaks a thousand words but the actual finished product made me speechlessAnd the Clean Up They left everything spotless I highly recommend Medallion for all of your improvement needs I will use them for my walkway next Thank you so much Medallion for a job well done

I purchased a 6ft cedar fence from them in 11/in less than year due to weather, the elements, my $fence needed repairs so I called Medallion because naturally you would think this should be covered under the warrantyOn August 2nd I contacted Medallion via telephone and email reporting the damage of my fence and asking them for an appointment to schedule repairsI emailed pictures, continuously called, and constantly received nothing but the run aroundWhen I finally did receive a call I was told I had to pay $for a damaged post that was not coveredokay fineThat was in September and still no one called with that appointment and my calls and emails continued until finally I was told in October that "we are super busy but I promise we will have someone to you either the week of 10/or the week of 10/but we will have someone call you the day beforeWell lest fast forward shall we to 11/when the Medallion crew appears at my home with no advance call so that I could take off or have someone home to oversee the workNo invoice left, no sign off for the work or number of broads replacednothingSo now its 11/and I receive a call stating that "my fence was repaired yesterday but they didn't receive payment of the $for the post and oh yeah some of the damage of these boards were due to your dog, but we fixed them as a time courtesyFor the record not only is my dog a house dog he is a very large dog that would not nibble on boards but eat the entire board only if smeared it down with peanut butter so damage from my dog is definitely not the caseEspecially when he has a kennel that he stays in when outsideNext I sent ample professionally taken pictures of every board when I originally emailed and requested the appointment for serviceThis appoint would have provided Medallion and myself with ample opportunity to walk around the fence assess and discuss the damages togetherThat was never done!
Finally my immediate question to himwas how do I pay someone, when
1) no invoice was left or documentation of the service?
2) no written explanation as to what was done , when it was done or any details pertaining to to quantity of boards, condition, and placement of this repairSo how then am I expected to give you my credit card information and pay $over the phone for something I have no documentation for?
His response was simply that he informed me of the cost in advance and I verbally confirmed itMy response since he wanted to attempt to mention the law was easyYes you are correct it is called an expressed contract which I am very familiar with being a lawyerBut what I am also very familiar with is business practices and my legal right to request a receipt for products and services obtained from a vendor or business ownerI am also interested in you producing a copy of my fence warranty which details the out of pocket costs associated with repairs under warrantyHis responseI will have to look into it and call you backWonder how long I have to wait this time? No worries, because this will be the 1st and last time that I ever do business with this company againHorrible customer service! Horrible worth ethic! Horrible quality! Horrible claims/services process! I wouldn't recommend this company to my enemy!

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the service and quality of Medallion Security DoorsI've been a customer for over 10yrs and in each instance their service was impeccableRecently we purchased a front entry door and the installation was perfect! I feel our home is effectively secured from unlawful entry but more important the aesthetics is beautiful and complements curb appealMedallion Doors highly recommended

late early I purchased a Security Storm Door from Medallion The Security Storm Door came with a Screen Insert The Screen Insert consist of a metal frame with a screen and one small bar across the middle During use, the bar across the middle of the screen pushes out tearing the screen away from the frame I called Medallion's sales person and the staff in the office to complaint about the poor design of the door but got no results I was able to locate one of their general managers, who subsequently agreed to repair the door by putting another bar across the middle that was supposed to be stronger, but would not agree to my request to change the design by putting more bars to provide more support, or even put a stronger screen in the door I was willing to even pay moreThis spring, I called to complain about the same thing happening again, the supposedly heavier bar came loose from the frame and tore the screen The door was picked up almost a month ago, the

Medallion Security installed security windows and doors in on my house The manager , Bill, did not rush me through the initial process of asking questions and receiving information to signing of the contract The team of installers were very good and caring about my home The installation went on as scheduled and the product was what I expectedAfter installation the manager walked around to inspect the work with me There was a minor change I requested and the company reacted quickly and with minimum cost I highly recommend the product and the company to ensure security in one's home
